Abstract

The success of implementing the curriculum in schools is very dependent on the teacher's perception in accepting and understanding the content of implementing the independent curriculum within the scope of the educational unit. So it is important to know the teacher's perception index in implementing the independent curriculum in elementary schools. This research aims to analyze the teacher's perception index regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Bima. This research method was carried out using a survey approach. The main sample of this research was 32 elementary school class teachers who implemented an independent curriculum. The data analysis technique was carried out descriptively. The results of the research reveal that elementary school teachers in Bima City can generally understand the theoretical realm and technical framework in implementing the Independent Curriculum. This is evidenced by the positive perception of teachers regarding the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools, including; 62.5% of teachers think that the concept of an independent curriculum for elementary school students is in accordance with the theoretical basis of education. The remaining 37.5% felt that the independent curriculum concept was very suitable for elementary school students in Bima. It was identified that 69% of teachers were strongly influenced by internal factors and 31% were influenced by external factors in implementing the independent primary school curriculum. In another aspect, as many as 43.8% thought that discussion activities were initiated by teachers and the school, which also influenced the optimization of the implementation of the independent curriculum in elementary schools in Bima.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze or describe problems based on a literature review regarding the implementation of Pancasila education in preventing the development of acts of radicalism, in Entikong, West Kalimantan. The first step in this research is to study data from previous research, then collect primary data from books, journals and websites for data processing. After that, carry out data analysis with analysis stages; data reduction, data presentation (display), and verification or conclusions. Testing the validity of data in qualitative research includes testing internal validity (credibility), external validity (transferability), reliability (dependability), and objectivity (confirmability). The results of the research show that Pancasila is a very important part to study as a form of preventing the entry of radicalism in the world of Indonesian education. A Pancasila Education Implementation Strategy is needed in preventing the development of acts of radicalism in maintaining the integrity of the Indonesian nation with unity and oneness in uniting various kinds of differences, especially in the outermost regions of Indonesia that directly border other countries.

Abstract

Speech ability is a crucial part in a child’s language development, which has significant impact on their future intellectual and social development. At TK Nusantara Bekasi, within the past two years there were 10%-12% students with speech delay, and two of them were 5-6 years old and have never had any speech therapy by experts. This research aims to describe the Implementation of Model Si-UUL (Simak Ucap Ulang) as an innovative strategy to deal with speech development issues in children aged 5-6 years old with speech delay at TK Nusantara, Bekasi, held in September-December 2023. Method of research used is qualitative descriptive with data collecting through interviews, documentation, and notes. Research result shows that research subjects have functional speech delay, i.e. expressive speech disorder caused by the lack of stimulus or wrong parenting. Implementation of Model Si-UUL affects the speech ability of children with speech delay, from the indicator of verbal expressive language achievement it is observed that children are capable of conveying their feelings and ideas using suitable words when communicating and able to participate in a dialogue.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the influence of creativity and musical intelligence on the executive function of Kindergarten B children in West Java province, especially in Kel. Telaga Asih. The survey method was used with a quantitative approach, regression analysis, F test, and SPSS. The questionnaire was filled out by parents from 4 kindergartens who were randomly selected using the multistage custom random sampling method. Data obtained from the parent questionnaire will be processed using the regression analysis method to investigate the relationship between creativity and musical intelligence and the executive function of Kindergarten B children. The F test will be used to test the significance of this relationship. It is hoped that the results of this research will provide a better understanding of the influence of creativity and musical intelligence on the executive function of Kindergarten B children. This can help develop more effective educational programs to improve the executive function abilities of Kindergarten B children in West Java, especially in Telaga Asih Village It is hoped that the conclusions of this research can be a guide for educators and educational planners to increase the creativity and musical intelligence of Kindergarten B children in order to optimize their executive function.

Abstract

Speaking is like the first assessment for each learner who is studying English and each learner has to speak. This statement means an obligation, duty, task, fact, implementation, process, and it can be learning, although we still find some students are speaking little or even passive in the classroom. One of the method that can raise the students motivate in learning speaking is Holistic method. This study aims to identify the students’ improvement in speaking ability using Holistic Method. This research following the principle working of Classroom Action Research (CAR) that contained of four stages (Planning, Implementation, Observation, and Reflection). a classroom action research was applied by implementing two cycles and each cycle was applied four meetings. To increase the speaking proficiency and fluency of the SMP Negeri 6 Watampone, VII-B class, a holistic approach was used. The research findings indicated a significant improvement of the students’ speaking ability after implementing two cycles. About the speaking accuracy, the students’ get 56.50% in the Diagnostic test, 64.10% in cycle I, and 75.30% in the cycle II. About the speaking fluency, the students get 57.00% in the Diagnostic test, 65.50% in the cycle I, and 75.80% in the cycle II. In the second cycle, the pupils' speaking accuracy improved by 35.32%. In the second cycle, there was a 33.03% improvement in the pupils' speaking fluency. Consequently, the investigator came to the conclusion that the pupils in VII-B class at SMP Negeri 6 Watampone's usage of a holistic approach had been successful in improving their speaking abilities.

Abstract

Effective communication necessitates discussions about the topic at hand, highlighting the significance of speaking skills. Proficiency in speaking significantly impacts one's character, requiring consistent practice to refine sentence structure and pronunciation. Leveraging practice methods, such as utilizing media like animation series, contributes significantly to honing speaking abilities. While grammar is often overlooked in everyday conversation, the essence lies in mutual understanding during dialogues. Vocabulary acquisition, mainly through regular reading, notably aids language fluency, especially in foreign languages. A teacher's role extends beyond content delivery to understanding the learning context and methods, encouraging students to apply what they've learned. Fostering self-confidence in students, particularly during the transition from junior to senior high school, is pivotal in teaching language skills. Integrating reading and listening into speaking lessons enriches vocabulary and enhances comprehension skills indispensable for effective communication. This study demonstrates the importance of effective communication as individuals convey information or messages during conversations. The focus is on emphasizing the necessity for teachers to prioritize enhancing speaking skills among students in classrooms. Improving students' proficiency in foreign languages is crucial, and it is intertwined with the utilization of appropriate media.

Abstract

The development of the Industrial Revolution 4.0 has had a changing impact on society, including the world of education. Development of Industrial Revolution 4.0 also coincides with the demands of 21st century learning related to 4 skills namely critical thinking, innovative, collaborative and communicative. Two things requires teachers to conduct learning that focus on the fourth students' skills. Therefore, it needs internal innovation learning, namely by developing interactive digital media. In Determining the media used, teachers must understand the characteristics and style student learning. The research design used research and development 4D models. This interactive digital media product supports the kinesthetic group is a material about phase transition of objects in video file. The results of media suitability by media experts and teachers show an average of 4.67. The results of material suitability by material experts and teachers showed an average of 4.41. The results of the appropriateness of language use by linguists and teachers show an average of 4.17. The results of the average score can be concluded that the media product interactive digital supporting the kinesthetic group is included in the criteria Very good. The student response questionnaire is also validated by lecturers and teachers with an average score of 4.8 and it can be concluded that This response questionnaire is very proper to be used. Besides that, the test questions also got the validation stage by lecturers and teachers with an average score of 4.15 and it can be concluded that the test questions is proper.The next, the media has been validated and revised, then some revisions can be used in the teaching and learning process. As for the results of Student responses with a total of 27 students obtained an average of 3.79 means this media is proper to use. In addition, the results of the average test scores of participants student is 90.93 or the result in percentage is 95% as a very good conclusion. Thus, digital media interactive kinesthetic group support is effective and able to provide impact on improving student learning outcomes in the material namely transition object.

Abstract

Arabic learning is a process in which students learn Arabic with the help of a teacher. In this process, various components are arranged with the main aim of achieving mastery of Arabic knowledge and skills, including comprehension of Arabic material, making sentences in Arabic and the like. The importance of mastering Arabic language skills is one of them, namely speaking skills. In this study proposed the extemporan method as an approach in Arabic speaking skills. This study used a quantitative approach with experimental research techniques using pre-experiment with a one group pretest-posttest design model. The analytical techniques used in this study are Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Correlation Coefficient, and T Test (Partial) with a sigification level of 5%. The sample used in this study was grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Kota Tangerang. The results showed that the extemporan method had a significant effect on improving the Arabic speaking skills of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tangerang City with a significance value (p-value) of < 0.05. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the extemporan method is effective in improving the Arabic speaking skills of grade VIII students of SMP Muhammadiyah 2 Tangerang City.

Abstract

Metode Tamyiz is a practical method to help translate Arabic vocabulary. The purpose of this study was to determine the effectiveness of the tamyiz method in improving the understanding of Arabic vocabulary at SMP Muhammadiyah 6, Jakarta. This study used a type of quantitative research with experimental design techniques (pre-experimental model, one-group pretest-posttest). The research was conducted in March 2024 at SMP Muhammadiyah 6, Jakarta. The population in this study was grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Jakarta, totaling 30 people using saturated sample techniques. The data collection technique used in this study was pre- and post-test. And the technique to analyze the data uses normality tests, effectiveness tests, and paired sample t-tests with a significance level of 5%. The results of this study found that there was an increase in students' understanding of Arabic vocabulary using the tamyiz method. Therefore, it can be concluded that the tamyiz method is quite effective as a learning method that can significantly improve the understanding of Arabic vocabulary of grade VIII students at SMP Muhammadiyah 6 Jakarta.

Abstract

This research aims to describe teachers' efforts to increase student motivation, find out the learning media used and the magnitude of the increase in student motivation in learning social studies using audio-visual media. The subjects of this research were fifth grade students at SDN Dampala, Bahodopi District, who were active in the even semester of the 2023/2024 academic year. This research uses a qualitative description method based on an assessment rubric in the form of observation sheets, documentation and interviews. The results of the research show that teachers' efforts to increase student motivation can be seen from the better student response to the learning process, collaboration between students and also between students and teachers, as well as the creation of a supportive learning environment which is an important factor in increasing student motivation. The use of learning media can be seen from. The positive impact on student motivation during the learning process and increasing student motivation in social studies learning shows that effective integration of audio-visual media in learning can increase students' attention to social studies learning material.
