Abstract

This study aims to investigate and prove whether economic growth and the human development index, each of which is influenced by its determinants, have a simultaneous relationship. The data used is secondary data in the form of panel data from North Sumatra Province consisting of 29 districts / cities for the period 2018 - 2022. The analysis method used is simultaneous equation with two stages least square. The study results show that the variables that have a positive and significant effect on economic growth are the output value variable of large and medium industries and the labor force participation rate variable, while the employment opportunity variable has a negative and significant effect on economic growth. The variables that have a positive and significant effect on the human development index variable are the per capita income variable and the life expectancy variable. However, the economic growth variable has a negative and significant effect on the human development index. By using two stages least square analysis, it is found that economic growth does not have a simultaneous relationship with the human development index variable.

Abstract

The sales service provided has a significant impact on the sales process and customer satisfaction. If the service is good, it can increase customer satisfaction as they feel valued, receive efficient assistance, and experience care from the seller. The purpose of this study is to examine the influence of five variables that shape service performance on customer satisfaction and customer repurchase intention, with independent variables including tangibles, reliability, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy, and dependent variables being customer satisfaction and repurchase intention. The research method used is Structural Equation Modeling with a quantitative approach. The results show that responsiveness has a significant effect on customer satisfaction, assurance and empathy have a significant effect on repurchase intention, and customer satisfaction has a significant impact on repurchase intention.

Abstract

Supply chain berperan penting dalam peningkatan efektivitas dalam produksi. Supplu chain dibutuhkan untuk merancang, memproduksi, dan mendistribusikan produk dari pemasok ke pelanggan akhir. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dan memitigasi risiko pada supply chain di Departemen Logistik PT Adaro Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan yaitu House of Risk (HOR) dimana dilakukan pendekatan dengan deskriptif kuantitatif melalui kuesioner dan pengolahan data berdasar metode House Of Risk. Berdasarkan analisis, ditemukan empat penyebab risiko utama tingginya permintaan mendadak, keterlambatan pengiriman oleh vendor, keterbatasan anggaran pengguna, dan kendala jenis transportasi. Strategi mitigasi yang direkomendasikan mencakup koordinasi dengan vendor dan departemen terkait, pemantauan proses pengiriman, dan evaluasi kinerja vendor. Implementasi strategi ini diharapkan dapat meningkatkan efektivitas rantai pasok dan mengurangi risiko operasional. Kata kunci: House of Risk; mitigasi risik; rantai pasok ;

Abstract

Rural Banks in North Sumatra Province during the 2017-2021 period experienced an increase in the amount of credit disbursed to the public, but it was not significant, where there were microeconomic factors that influenced the increase in the amount of credit, such as decreasing CAR, increasing NPL and decreasing LDR value will affect BPR's ability to maximize the amount of funds to distribute credit in the future even though third party funds increase during 2017-2021. This research aims to find out what internal risk variables are, namely variables CAR, third party funds, NPL, LDR directly, partially or simultaneously influence the amount of credit that will be distributed by BPRs in North Sumatra Province. This research uses quantitative research methods using panel data regression analysis using the eviews application, where the data used is secondary data originating from the financial reports of 53 BPRs in North Sumatra Province, where this data is collected from microeconomic aspects such as Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), Third Party Funds (DPK), Non Performing Loans (NPL), and Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR).

Abstract

Kepemimpinan autentik merupakan bentuk dasar kepemimpinan yang diperlukan untuk menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang kompetitif. Khususnya dalam industri pariwisata, konsep ini semakin mendapat perhatian karena fokusnya pada pengembangan kreativitas dan kinerja karyawan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi pengaruh kepemimpinan autentik terhadap kreativitas dan kinerja karyawan di sektor perhotelan di Sumatera Utara. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan desain penelitian korelasional. Sebanyak 150 responden yang memenuhi kriteria menyelesaikan survei. Semua variabel penelitian dianalisis menggunakan Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) dengan Smart PLS 4.0. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas karyawan dapat meningkatkan kinerja karyawan. Komponen kepemimpinan autentik, yaitu kesadaran diri, transparansi relasional, dan proses yang seimbang, ditemukan dapat mendorong kreativitas karyawan, sedangkan perspektif moral yang terinternalisasi tidak. Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa kreativitas karyawan dapat dipengaruhi oleh pemimpin yang menunjukkan kesadaran diri yang tinggi, keterbukaan dengan timnya, dan proses yang seimbang, yang ditunjukkan dengan perilaku manajerial yang adil yang memotivasi karyawan untuk berpikir dan bertindak lebih kreatif. Namun, nilai-nilai moral yang dianut secara konsisten oleh pemimpin dapat menghambat karyawan dalam mengekspresikan ide-ide kreatifnya. Wawasan ini dapat bermanfaat bagi para manajer, yang menyoroti bahwa kepemimpinan yang tepat dapat berkontribusi pada peningkatan hasil kerja karyawan.

Abstract

Managing service quality in the current digital era requires companies to move quickly to innovate to maintain customer satisfaction continuously. The main aim of the research is to determine the extent to which the quality of service provided by PT Elshaddai Mulia Agape Sehati is reviewed from various aspects within the company. Then, the service quality of PT Elshaddai Mulia Agape Sehati should be improved so that customer trust will grow. The author used a qualitative research method with data analysis using the SWOT analysis technique. Based on interviews and Focus Group Discussions (FGD), it was found that the company showed high commitment to providing solutions to operational obstacles, including delays in material procurement, local HR challenges, and a shortage of supervisory staff. SWOT analysis shows that PT Elshaddai has advantages in project experience, competent human resources, and competitive price offers. On the other hand, the main areas for improvement are limited capital, difficulties recruiting workers in remote locations, and the absence of an official website for information and digital marketing.

Abstract

Consumer satisfaction is an important aspect for a company to be able to maintain its image to the wider community for the sake of its business sustainability. This needs to start by providing the best quality from physical and non-physical aspects which will then create a separate experience in the minds of consumers in experiencing the product. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of brand image, product quality, and service quality on consumer satisfaction of Mie Gacoan in the people of Medan City. This type of research is quantitative. The sample measurement used the Lemeshow formula and a sample of 96 respondents was obtained. The data processing process was carried out by taking data from a google form questionnaire and then analyzed using SEM techniques in the SmartPLS 3.0 application. The results obtained from this study show that: Brand image variables have no effect and are not significant to consumer satisfaction. The product quality variable has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. And the service quality variable has a positive and significant effect on consumer satisfaction. For better business development, companies must be active in providing their best strategies and pay attention to consumer desires to create consumer satisfaction for their products.

Abstract

The goal of this study is to investigate a model of the direct variable relationships between organisational culture, moral hierarchy levels, commitment, motivation, and leadership style. Purpose  This  study  is to find  out, the direct  influence  of school organizational culture, the leadership  style of the principal, on teacher  commitment,  the level  of moral  hierarchy  on  teacher commitment, teacher work motivation on teacher commitment, the direct influence of school organizational culture, the principal's leadership style on teacher work motivation, the level of moral hierarchy  on teacher work motivation.  The study population of all junior high school teachers in Samarinda City. The sampling technique is used non-random, proportional sampling. This technique is to obtain 309 samples from the total population 796 teachers.  Path analysis is one analysis technique used to find the relationship between variables. The stages of path analysis techniques are (1) Descriptive statistical analysis, (2) Normality test requirements test and linearity test, (3) Hypothesis test using significance test analysis. Based on the results, it can be said that raising work motivation, moral hierarchy level, leadership style, and organisational culture of the school can all help junior high school teachers in Samarinda become more committed.

Abstract

Changes in consumer behavior from generation Z today have experienced a significant shift to impulsive buying behavior and led to doom spending. The purpose of this study is to determine the impulsive behavior influenced by generation Z's lifestyle. The results found that all lifestyle and consumer behavior research variables have valid and reliable criteria. The regression equation used is a simple regression where the equation results are Y = 13.175 + 0.517X, From the results of this equation the correlation coefficient of lifestyle on impulsive consumer behavior has a positive contribution, this means that if the correlation coefficient shows a positive contribution, it means that there is a unidirectional relationship between lifestyle and impulsive consumption behavior. Then the partial hypothesis results show that there is a positive and significant effect on impulsive buying consumer behavior. This means that when lifestyle increases, impulsive buying consumer behavior will also increase.Keywords: Lifestyle, Doom Spending, Impulse Buying

Abstract

This study intends to evaluate how significant the effect of financial technology on the financial performance of commercial banking in the city of Pekanbaru, Indonesia, using digital literacy as a moderate variable. This study uses primary data from 200 respondents via a likert scale questionnaire. WarpPLS software was used for data analysis, which used partial least squares. The results of this study show that there is a substantial positive link between the use of financial technology and the financial performance of commercial banking. This favorable benefit, however, is more pronounced when digital literacy is high. Commercial banks with high levels of digital literacy can use financial technology more efficiently to improve their financial performance. These findings have substantial implications for policy development in the banking sector and promote enhanced digital literacy in society. This study is exclusive in that it investigates how financial technology affects the financial performance of commercial banks in Indonesia while considering the moderating role of digital literacy in the context of more rapid technological changes. These findings significantly contribute to the literature on developing countries, particularly Indonesia.
