Abstract

This study examines the effect of Financial Literacy and Financial Technology on Individual Financial Behavior through Financial Inclusion. Today, individuals have the right to determine the steps they will take in financial decision-making. Various new and diverse financial products are emerging, requiring individuals to have a deeper understanding if they wish to utilize them. This is necessary to avoid financial decisions that may be detrimental. Individual finances can be well-managed if financial behavior is accountable. Strategic efforts are needed to enhance individuals' financial knowledge. The use of technology facilitates financial transactions. Through financial literacy and financial technology, individuals can improve their financial behavior. Moreover, financial inclusion plays a crucial role in promoting positive financial behavior. Access to financial services enables middle and lower-income individuals to save and invest. This study is a quantitative research employing observation and questionnaire methods. The questionnaire serves as a data collection technique in which respondents are given written questions or statements to answer. The respondents in this study are lecturers and employees working at a private university in Bandung City. The sampling method used is purposive sampling. To obtain an accurate and direct representation of the lecturers and employees, this study utilizes a survey system. The total population of lecturers and employees at the university is 325 individuals. Using Slovin’s formula, a sample of 77 respondents, consisting of lecturers and employees, was determined. After conducting analysis and discussion on the data processing results, it can be concluded that Financial Literacy and Financial Technology have a significant positive effect on Financial Inclusion. However, Financial Technology does not have a significant impact on Individual Financial Behavior. The effect of financial technology on individual financial behavior is not always positive and depends on how the technology is utilized. Therefore, individuals must understand the risks and benefits of financial technology and use it wisely to improve their financial behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of lifestyle, financial literacy, and spiritual intelligence on financial management behavior, with locus of control as a mediating variable, among Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSME) owners in the Jakarta area. A quantitative approach was employed, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 200 MSME owners between May and July 2025. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) with the assistance of SmartPLS 4 software. The results indicate that lifestyle, financial literacy, and spiritual intelligence have a significant effect on financial management behavior, both directly and indirectly through locus of control. Locus of control was found to mediate the relationship between the independent variables and financial management behavior. These findings provide both theoretical and practical contributions, particularly in developing effective financial behavior strategies for MSME owners.

Abstract

This research aims to develop a business sustainability model in Indonesia's Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises sector by examining the role of financial literacy, innovation capability and knowledge management as the main predictors. The research method uses a quantitative survey design involving 350 MSME players in various industrial sectors in Indonesia. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire, which was analysed using the Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) technique to test direct and indirect relationships between variables. The research results show that financial literacy, innovation capability, and knowledge management positively and significantly influence the sustainability of MSME businesses, both partially and simultaneously. These findings provide practical implications for MSME actors and policymakers to prioritise capacity-building programs in these three areas to build a stronger sustainability foundation. In addition, this research enriches the literature regarding strategies for strengthening MSMEs in developing countries, while also opening opportunities for further studies that integrate external factors such as government support and digital technology within the framework of business sustainability models.

Abstract

This research aims to test and determine the influence of discipline on work commitment and ASN work creativity, to test the influence of discipline on performance through work commitment and ASN creativity in the Regional Secretariat of North Tapanuli Regency through ASN creativity. This research also aims to determine the state of work discipline, work commitment, creativity and performance of ASN in the Regional Secretariat of North Tapanuli Regency through ASN creativity. The population in this research is all state civil servants who work at the Regional Secretariat of North Tapanuli Regency through ASN creativity, namely 110 people, and the entire population is used as respondents in this research or a saturated sample. This research shows that team member discipline is currently not very high, work commitment is not high, employees are still less creative and performance is still not optimal. Discipline does not have a significant influence on commitment, creativity or performance. ASN work commitment does not significantly affect performance, but ASN creativity has a positive and significant effect on performance. Indirect testing shows that discipline significantly affects performance through the work commitment of ASN of the North Tapanuli Regency regional secretariat. Abstract

This research aims to analyse the role of job crafting, work autonomy, and psychological empowerment in increasing innovative work behaviour among technology startup employees in Indonesia. The research population includes employees working in various technology startup companies, with a sample of 200 respondents selected using purposive sampling techniques to ensure representation of individuals directly involved in innovation-based work processes. Data was collected through a structured questionnaire and analyzed using quantitative methods with a Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) approach to test the relationship between variables. The research results show that job crafting and psychological empowerment positively and significantly affect innovative work behaviour. This research also confirms that work autonomy does not significantly influence innovative work behaviour. These findings confirm that when employees can adapt their tasks, gain autonomy in decision making, and feel psychologically empowered, they are more likely to generate new ideas that support organizational growth. Theoretically, this research enriches the literature regarding the determinants of innovative work behaviour in the context of startups in Indonesia.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the impact of employee empowerment, job crafting, and work-life balance on employee engagement in the Indonesian commercial banking sector. Using a quantitative approach with an explanatory design, data were collected through a survey of 150 commercial bank employees selected using a purposive sampling technique. The analysis was conducted using the Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) method, based on Partial Least Squares (PLS), to examine the relationship between latent variables. The research results indicate that the three independent variables have a positive and significant impact on employee engagement, with job crafting being the most dominant predictor, followed by employee empowerment and work-life balance. These findings confirm that employee engagement can be increased through empowerment, flexibility, and work-life balance strategies that are more adaptive to the demands of the banking sector. Practically, this research provides implications for banking management to strengthen empowerment policies, provide employees with space to design their work roles, and create a work climate that supports a balance between professional and personal demands, thereby increasing organizational involvement and performance sustainably.
