Abstract

Islamic education is not just a process of inculcating moral values to fortify negative access, but how the instilled moral values are able to play a role as the strength of Islam to get out of poverty, ignorance, social and cultural backwardness. Today, the current of modernization gives birth to a culture that leads to liberalization, rationalization, and materialization. This article is a literature review that tries to explore the socio-cultural values that are integrated in the realm of Islamic education that are inseparable from one another. So that Islamic education can adapt and adopt local cultural values of course that do not conflict with the essence of Islamic teachings, so that Islamic education can be easily accepted and grounded in the reality of the society where Islamic education is taught. Islamic education using culture is needed as part of forming the identity of a Muslim. Prophetic social science is an alternative choice of Islamic culture format introduced by Kuntowijoyo through three domains, humanization (amar maruf), liberation (nahyi mungkar), and transcendence, related to the word of Allah Q.S. li-Imran 3:110. Related to these interests, changes are also needed in the National Education System related to the curriculum, in this case the 2013 curriculum in madrasah.

Abstract

Assessment has a very vital role in learning process. In Jurisprudence learning many teachers focus on written cognitive assessment, where results become a matter of pride, teachers often forget to assess student understanding, practice and creativity, even though 21st century assessment demands the latest knowledge and abilities. This article uses a blended assessment (tahriri, syafahi, and capstone project) as an alternative solution to cognitive assessment, the assessment of fiqh learning will be comprehensive and make the product of learning. This article includes a literature study with a qualitative-descriptive approach. The result is blended assessment is a combination of two or more types of assessments, to determine students' abilities and improve the quality of learning. Blended assessment in fiqh learning cognitive aspects, has a level, that tahriri test consisting of C1 and C2, functioning to assess memory skills and comprehension, syafahi test consists of C3 and C4, functioning to assess applicative and analytical abilities, and capstone projects consisting of C5 and C6, to assess the evaluation skills and creations of students. The method of evaluation by combining results of tahriri, syafahi, and capstone projects, the percentage is 30 percent tahriri, 30 percent syafahi, and 40 percent capstone project. Three tests are combined into one with the percentage and value of each test result.

Abstract

Efek Covid-19 yang memiliki dampak luar biasa bagi seluruh sektor kehidupan, sehingga semua kebijakan pemerintah diarahkan pada pembatasan kegiatan yang harus diikuti oleh seluruh kementerian tak terkecuali pada Kementerian Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan (Kemendikbud) yakni pembatasan kegiatan tatap muka di lembaga pendidikan dengan melakukan proses belajar dari rumah (BDR). Pembelajaran daring yang telah dilaksanakan dengan waktu yang relatif lama ini mulai dikhawatirkan berpengaruh negatif bagi psikososial peserta didik, sehingga perlu alternatif solusi untuk meminimalisir pengaruh negatif tersebut. Inovasi yang dilakukan guru yakni menerapkan Hybrid Learning demi memaksimalkan pembelajaran yang dilakukan selama pandemi Covid-19 ini. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif deskriptif dengan tujuan mendeskripsikan Hybrid Learning yang diimplementasikan di SD Negeri Bungurasih Waru Sidoarjo dan problematika yang dialami serta solusinya. Hasil penelitian ini, terdapat beberapa tahapan yang dilakukan guru dalam implementasi Hybrid Learning antara lain: pertama, tahap perencanaan. Pada tahap ini dilakukan beberapa hal yakni: sosialisasi pembelajaran jarak jauh kepada wali murid, pembentukan paguyuban setiap paralel kelas, pembagian kelompok kecil siswa, pembuatan perangkat pembelajaran; kedua, tahap implementasi. Pada tahapan ini Hybrid Learning dilakukan dengan kombinasi pembelajaran dalam jaringan (daring) dan pembelajaran tatap muka yang dilaksanakan secara berkelompok di rumah peserta didik; ketiga, tahapan evaluasi atau penilaian dilakukan dengan pemberian soal tes dan non tes. Problem pada pembelajaran Hybrid antara lain: kemampuan literasi teknologi yang belum maksimal; terbatasnya waktu, kurang adanya kesadaran dari peserta didik dan sebagian wali murid untuk memaksimalkan pendampingan belajarnya. Solusi yang diberikan yakni dengan memberikan pendampingan yang lebih maksimal terkait literasi digital sehingga pembelajaran yang dilaksanakan kedepannya lebih maksimal.

Abstract

The climate of literacy in education is increasingly being voiced. To realize the National Literacy Movement, both in the realm of schools, families, and communities, a comprehensive and well-planned strategy is needed. Seeing the importance of reading culture and the lack of interest in reading in Indonesia, the government has launched a literacy movement. The implementation of this strategy is by creating the School Literacy Movement carried out by the Government in the field of education, namely the Law of the Republic of Indonesia Number 20 of 2003 concerning the National Education System. In Chapter III article 4 paragraph 5, it reads Education is carried out by developing a culture of reading, writing and arithmetic for all members of the community, making policies regarding reading interest. Interest in reading is expected to grow and develop in these students, guided by the policy of the school literacy movement or commonly referred to as GLS. Thus, it is hoped that schools will be able to develop government policies through literacy movement guidelines which will be able to be implemented and developed according to the situation and conditions of the school. This study discusses how the literacy movement policy in increasing students interest in reading at SMA Al-Huda Tuban. This research is a quantitative research. The research sample is class XI students totaling 47 students. Collecting data with the methods of observation, questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. Test the validity of the data by using the validity test and reliability test. Data analysis with descriptive analysis, hypothesis testing, Product moment analysis. The results of the study explain that there is a good implementation and strategy that leads to increasing students reading interest. The results showed: (1) The literacy movement policy at SMA Al-Huda Tuban was quite good. The number of respondents was the most among the grouping of scores from the number of respondents 47, which was obtained a score of 71-75 with 12 respondents. (2) Reading interest in high school Al-Huda Tuban has the highest frequency, namely 15 respondents with a mean value of 78.463 mode 80 and a median of 80. (3) School Literacy Movement Program on Student Interest in Reading at SMA Al-Huda Tuban, with rxy = 0.759 with a significance value of 0.566 or 0.56 percents.

Abstract

Disciplinary behavior of students is strongly influenced by several factors, namely; neighborhood, family and school. In this case, the madrasa becomes the baton from the family to train students discipline, because students who have a disciplined attitude will tend to grow a sense of responsibility in doing something and be able to respect and obey a rule. Students who have a disciplined attitude can become students who are faster in developing and improving their achievements, and become students who obey the rules so as to create a conducive learning atmosphere. In responding to this, the deputy head of the student madrasa of course has a strategy that he applies in improving student discipline at MA Ihyaul Ulum so that all students in the madrasa are able to become students who obey the rules that apply in the madrasa and become students who have awareness of discipline research objectives 1) To determine the strategy of vice principal in the field of student affairs in improving student discipline in MA. Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik 2) To find out the supporting factors and inhibiting factors for the vice principal of student affairs in improving student discipline at MA Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik this study used a qualitative approach and the type of this research was field research (Field Research) the results of the research on the strategy of the vice principal for student affairs in improving student discipline at MA Ihyaul Ulum Dukun Gresik by a) Setting an example in being disciplined b) Both educators and students must comply with all applicable rules at the madrasa c) Implement a point system in any violation d) Cooperate with the BK teacher and all teachers e) Consistent in enforcing student discipline. f) Build communication with students, teachers and community and Characteristics of Student Discipline at MA Ihyaul Ulum Include the following: a) Discipline of student dress b) Discipline of punctuality c) Discipline of social behavior d) Discipline in learning ethics e) Discipline of following the congregation of dhuha prayers f) Discipline following congregational dhuhur prayer g) Discipline following the study/recitation of the book and dhikr after the dhuha prayer.

Abstract

The strategy of the head of madrasa in improving the social competence of teachers but there are still many teachers who are less than optimal in communicating well. This social competence also affects the formation of student character and affects relations with the community. This study aims to answer several problem formulations: 1) What is the strategy of the head of madrasa in improving the social competence of teachers. 2) What are the influencing factors in improving the social competence of teachers. This type of research includes qualitative research, which generates data and is analyzed using a descriptive method adapted to MTs. Al Khoiriyah 2 Mulyorejo. The data collected using interview, observation, and documentation techniques. The results of this study, that the strategy of the head of madrasa in improving the social competence of Mts teachers. Al Khoiriyah 2 Mulyorejo is a collaborative strategy. And in improving the social competence of teachers, the head of madrasah includes teachers in MGMP, Workshop, and IT Guidance. Not only that, once a month the head of the madrasah holds meetings and evaluations and involves teachers in community activities, namely Istighosah. That way the teacher can add insight and establish good friendship, thereby increasing interaction relations to the maximum. In accordance with the madrasa principal's strategy, several factors affect the teacher's social competence. The factors that influence in improving the social competence of teachers are the educational background of each teacher, the age of the teacher, experience in learning, influences from within and environmental conditions. As for the results of this study, it is recommended that in the future the madrasa head pays more attention to the problems that exist within the scope of the madrasa institution, especially in terms of good communication. So that teachers, staff, and students are able to apply it in everyday life to the fullest. And there needs to be a forum that bridges between teachers who take part in trainings with the intention of transmitting the knowledge that has been obtained to other teachers. So you can implement.

Abstract

Inclusive Education Management, In inclusive education institutions aim to provide opportunities for children with disabilities or special needs to be able to participate in learning like other normal children. Inclusive education management is an activity, planning, implementing, and supervising all activities (programs), in order to provide education for all students, including students with special needs in order to achieve goals. This type of research includes qualitative research and uses descriptive analysis techniques, in order to find out the problem and get accurate data, the researcher uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this study can be said that in the discussion of inclusive education management that stands out is the emphasis on the management of inclusive education programs. that planning (planning) is a basic function of management, because in organizing, actuating, and controlling must first be planned. So that the risk borne is relatively small, all activities, actions, and policies should be planned in advance. Organizing The organizing function (organizing = division of labor) is closely related to the planning function, because organizing must be planned. Actuation is moving people to work in accordance with the tasks assigned to them so that they can achieve the goals that have been set. In carrying out the main tasks and functions given by superiors to subordinates or members, they must be carried out with a full sense of responsibility, totality, and maximum. There needs to be good cooperation from superiors to subordinates or members as well as among fellow members in carrying out tasks. So that the goals to be achieved can be realized. Controlling is an important part of management, because in supervision one will know if a program is running smoothly or if there is an obstacle. Supervision is trying as much as possible to oversee the programs that have been planned so that they run optimally and as they should.

Abstract

MTs Sunan Drajat Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan is one of the institutions located under the auspices of the Sunan Drajat Islamic Boarding School which has an Ummi method of learning Al-Quran learning program. To produce a good Quranic generation, it is necessary to have class management to create conducive classroom conditions, in order to overcome obstacles in student learning. So to describe how the implementation of the Ummi method in learning Al-Quran, this research was carried out. Research objectives 1) How is classroom management in the Ummi method of learning Al-Quran at MTs Sunan Drajat Banjarwarti Paciran Lamongan? 2) What are the problems and solutions for classroom management in the Ummi method of learning Al-Quran at MTs Sunan Drajat Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan? This research is a qualitative research that produces data and is analyzed using a descriptive method that is adapted to the Ummi method of learning Al-Quran at MTs Sunan Drajat Banjarwati Paciran Lamongan. The data collected using interview techniques, observation and documentation of the results of classroom management research in Al-Quran learning the ummi method as follows 1). Teacher planning to prepare PROTA (Annual Program) and PROMES (Semester Program), class grouping at the beginning of PPDB (New Student Admission) with the Pre-Test, regarding the implementation the teacher adjusts to the 7 stages that have been set by the teacher, evaluating there are several evaluations assessment during learning takes place, when UAS (School Final Examination) and UTS (Middle Semester Examination) increase in the last volume of Imtihan and Khotmil. 2). The problems and solutions are: lack of teachers in learning, student discipline with solutions must be brave to add 2 times more teachers during learning and with certified teachers, take Tahsin once a month.

Abstract

The public relations strategy in increasing the active participation of parents is one way to foster and develop a harmonious relationship between the school and the parents. MTs. Ihyaul Ulum Bluri Solokuro Lamongan is one of the educational institutions built through public relations activities, where the use of public relations activities advances the quality of the educational institution. Thus, schools realize the importance of parental support in order to advance and develop their education. This was done by the school so that more parents were interested in sending their children to the school and so that the participation of parents with the school could increase, so this research was carried out. This study aims to determine: first, how is the public relations strategy in increasing the active participation of parents?; second, about the factors supporting and inhibiting the public relations strategy in increasing the active participation of parents? This type of research includes qualitative research, by searching for data and then analyzing it using descriptive methods. The data sought using interview, observation and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the public relations strategy in MTs. Ihyaul Ulum Bluri Solokuro Lamongan is an effort to realize the role of schools in providing quality education. In meeting these needs, the public relations strategy is carried out systematically. Starting from planning activities, public relations in increasing the active participation of parents who are carried out based on work meetings at the beginning of each semester, this refers to an analysis of the needs and desires of the internal and external community. Then the implementation of public relations is carried out according to a predetermined schedule, as for the types of active parental participation that have been carried out, namely: 1) Energy or physical participation, 2) Ideas or thoughts participation and 3) Fund participation. Then, program evaluation. In implementing the evaluation, MTs. Ihyaul Ulum Bluri holds a meeting every six months, namely before the odd semester, before the even semester and before the increase. The supporting factors in the field of public relations to carry out the program are: enthusiastic parents of students in supporting school activities and also school residents who have a high sense of belonging and enthusiasm for the progress of the school and strong brotherly bonds. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factor is that the parents do not understand the digital world, which is the biggest opportunity for the public relations field to run its program and the lack of funding as well as the lack of professionalism of public relations practitioners. As for the results of this study, it is recommended that in the future public relations practitioners are more optimal in applying the competence and code of ethics of public relations properly to make it easier for educational institutions to coordinate, plan, negotiate and build good relations between educational institutions and guardians of students.
