Abstract

To achieve success, every educational institution requires good management. One way is to make management arrangements, so that the process of developing Islamic culture can take place effec-tively and efficiently. This study aims to analyze planning, organizing, driving and supervising management in SMA Pesat Bogor City. This paper is a qualitative research that conducts in-depth observations at the Pesat High School in Bogor City. Data collection techniques are carried out through interviews, observation, and documentation studies. The results obtained show that man-agement and planning activities started with deliberations held with the vice principal and teachers to design the RKT and RKJM; organizing in the form of dividing tasks and roles with school mem-bers; mobilization carried out in the form of motivation and guidance to produce Islamic culture including in fostering morals, worship, and Islamic learning content; and supervision in the form of follow-up with rewards and punishments.

Abstract

The quality of education can be seen from the management in every institution or institution, especially in schools or madrasas. Departing from how the quality of education in a school or madrasa seen from the service users who in the future can improve the quality of education.This research is included in the field qualitative research. Data collection techniques used are: interview method, observation method and documentation method. The data analysis technique used is qualitative analysis. The process of qualitative data analysis according to Mathew B. Miles and A. Michael Huberman, through the process of data reduction, display (presentation of data) and verification. The results showed that madrasah ibtidayyah miftahul janah had a good quality of education which could be seen in school management in improving the quality of users which consisted of four aspects including; 1) Aspects of Physical Evidence (tangibles), 2) Aspects of Empathy, 3) Aspects of Reliability, and 4) Aspects of Responsiveness.

Abstract

PP. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin Jombang, in maintaining the existence and stability of Islamic boarding schools, various efforts are needed in it, one of which is managing Islamic boarding schools' finances. pp. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin Jombang with relatively cheap entry and monthly fees is able to manage finances well. So from here the researcher wants to examine further and in depth how the financial management system in PP. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin so that PP. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin Jombang is the most existing cottage and has many devotees. In this study, researchers used descriptive qualitative methods. In Islamic boarding school financial management, PP. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin does a number of things including doing budgeting based on the annual needs that have been determined at the annual meeting. In terms of implementation, there are two things that are done, namely income consisting of monthly payments, donations, pesantren business profits and so on, while expenses have been regulated in such a way that they are adjusted to the sub-income sub-income so that between income and expenses will be balanced. In carrying out supervision the head of the department continuously supervises directly through performance and reports. Financial evaluation is carried out three times, namely quarterly, semester and annually. So that's where PP. Bumi Damai al Muhibbin is able to manage its finances properly and efficiently so that it is able to attract prospective students to study at the pesantren. And the benefits obtained by researchers are the knowledge of effective and efficient financial management.

Abstract

Postmodernism is a source of understanding of the failure of modernist philosophers to advance human society. Because it fails to fulfill its mission to enable future human generations to advance intellectually and socially. The study aims to discuss history and development, the principles of postmodernism, as well as to examine the opportunities and challenges of post-modernism. This study is a qualitative descriptive study based on literature. The results of this study show that changes in postmodernism are inevitable, as emerging postmodern strategy models lead to new sustainable digital education transformation capabilities and new educational technologies. Therefore, society must respond to it through the cultivation of national values and the education of the individual in itself so that the consequences of the occurrence of the changes that occur can be minimized.

Abstract

Abstract:All stakeholders in educational institutions, especially teachers during the learning process in class, are responsible for improving teacher competency. Therefore, developing teacher competence is very important which is influenced by several variables, including the role of the principal himself. Based on these problems, the authors wish to conduct research on the role of school principals in improving teacher competency at the Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School, Jakarta. This study aims to identify the variables that can influence the increase in teacher competence as well as the challenges faced and the role of the principal in increasing teacher competency at Pondok Pesantren Darunnajah Jakarta. All principals and deputy principals of the Darunnajah Islamic Boarding School became the population and sample in this study. This research methodology combines qualitative and descriptive approaches. Information is collected by means of observation, discussion, and documentation. The findings of this study indicate that the role of school principals, teacher training, student learning facilities, teacher teaching experience, teacher health conditions, and educational background are factors that influence the increase in teacher competence and the quality of education. Along with the limitations of pedagogical and professional abilities, the principal's responsibility is to improve teacher competency through MGMP empowerment, academic and clinical supervision, as well as face-to-face training with other teachers.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the values of religious moderation in extracurricular activities at Tunas Luhur High School. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study type. Data collection techniques in this study used in-depth interviews, participant observation and documentation. The informants in the study were the principal, vice principal of curriculum and students. The data obtained were analyzed using several stages, namely data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results showed that extracurricular activities carried out at Tunas Luhur High School consisted of extracurricular activities which were part of Islamic religious education and extracurricular activities that were mandatory and specialization. Analysis of the values contained in extracurricular activities consists of the values of usefulness, tolerance, and justice so that with extracurricular activities carried out students can apply the values of religious moderation in the life of the society and nation.

Abstract

Universities must be able to provide good quality education and explore all aspects of excellent service in order to improve the image of tertiary institutions to face competitive competition. In this study, the stakeholders in question are external stakeholders, namely alumni. Some of the educational services that will be discussed in this study are leadership at the faculty and study program level, learning processes carried out by lecturers, educational services carried out by employees or staff or educational staff, facilities and infrastructure or facilities obtained by students, as well as alumni institutions accommodate alumni. This study aims to determine whether there is an influence from the quality of educational services in one of the Islamic tertiary institutions on alumni satisfaction and how much the influence is. The population in this study were alumni of the State Islamic Institute (IAIN) Surakarta. The research sample was 300 people. The results of this study are that there is a relationship between leadership in faculties and study programs, learning processes, administrative services, facilities and infrastructure, and alumni organizations as a whole with the level of alumni satisfaction simultaneously or jointly having a positive and strong relationship to the level of alumni satisfaction of 57.7%, while 42.3% is determined by other factors.

Abstract

Islamic boarding schools as religious institutions have great potential in efforts to develop the economy and welfare of Islamic boarding schools, as well as a strong influence on the life of the Islamic boarding school community. Therefore, the Islamic boarding school established an integrated farming business unit as a means to develop the economy and welfare of the school. This study aims to describe and analyze: the process of Islamic boarding school economic development through integrated farming units; the results of Islamic boarding school economic development through integrated farming units; as well as supporting and inhibiting factors for the economic development of Islamic boarding schools through integrated farming units. To answer the formulation of the problem, researchers used a qualitative approach. The results of this study indicate that the economic development carried out by Islamic boarding schools through integrated farming units has succeeded in increasing their economic income and creating jobs, as well as increasing the knowledge, skills, and experiences of students and their surroundings society about aquaculture and modern agriculture.

Abstract

The Development and Operationof the library depends on the pattern of Peoples’s lives,the information needed,of the community, and the ability of the community to understand the use odf technology. The public library which is an educational institution aimed at the community as a provider or various information, according to the scientific needs of all levels of society. Give this, it means that libraries have a very big hole in increasing interest in reading. The existance of a children’s service program, which is aimed at children, makes children experience faster growth and development of the ability to think and have broad insights. The research method used is qualitative research, namely collecting primary data through the results of observations, interviews and documentation. And Secondary data in the form of Literature Review sourced from Journals, Books and the Internet. The results showed that the Children's Services at the Regional Library of Deli Serdang Regency were effective, this was seen from the large number of visitors who packed the children's room every day, and adequate facilities. However, it is necessary to develop human resources in this library.

Abstract

The goal of this study was to create a two-tier multiple-choice diagnostic instrument to identify students' misconceptions. In developing this instrument, 207 students were involved in interviews, essay tests, multiple-choice tests with open reasons, and two-tier diagnostic tests. The Cronbach's alpha equation yields a dependability value of 0.764 for the 16 valid questions. Based on the misconception analysis of the six main concepts, the majority of students had misconceptions. Overall, the instrument is quite effective for determining student misconceptions. In order to assess students' misconceptions about acids and bases, this instrument might be used as a substitute test.
