Abstract

Researchers are interested in researching this in order to find out: The Role of Administrative Personnel in Improving the Quality of Administrative Services at Mts. Hidayatul Muhsinin With the main problem: Activities and Role of Administrative Personnel in Improving Service Quality, Barriers in Improving Administrative Service Quality and Strategies in Improving Administrative Service Quality. The method used in this study is a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The main data sources in this study were school principals, Deputy Head of Curriculum, Finance Head of Administration and teachers obtained through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of this study indicate that 1). The performance of administrative staff with the strategy implemented is to facilitate the payment or fee system that has been implemented since 2008, and maintain and manage school infrastructure facilities. The integration of the program from administrative staff with daily activities at school is still ongoing, although there are several obstacles in implementation. 2). The obstacles faced by schools in managing administrative services are archive warehouses that have not been optimal, a comprehensive database system has not been implemented and the preparation of the School Revenue and Expenditure Budget Plan still has difficulties related to costs that are not raised, existing facilities still have complaints from service users but complaints These complaints are not always handled quickly because they are related to the number of administrative staff. 3). Efforts are being made to overcome some of these obstacles, namely providing a letter of notification to parents to collect files immediately, increasing the payment of school fees to new students to cover the financing system that is not increased, so that each class pays school fees with different fees, the next strategy implementation of a system for controlling the condition of school facilities. The most important aspect that determines the success of an educational institution is the efficient implementation of all school organizational activities. The role of the administrative staff themselves in the school is very meaningful in supporting the smooth and successful administration of the school. Therefore, the administration must be able to carry out its duties and functions properly so that competence and expertise are needed to support the field of administration.

Abstract

The researchers attention is that the phenomenon of violence or known as klitih is rife everywhere in Indonesia, both in East Java, Central Java or West Java and in other areas in Indonesia. The forms of violence that occur take various forms, ranging from brawls, rape to what is very ironic is the murder is the background of this research. An example of a case is the death of two students because of the klitih action carried out by a group of students that took place at the Piri I Junior High School in Yogyakarta. This klitih phenomenon is interesting because it is related to character education. For this reason, in order to be more focused and deepen the problem in kama, the author focuses on research related to the efforts of principals and teachers in forming the affectionate character of students at SMAN 1 Batu, through the type of leadership of the principal, exemplary teachers in character building, and efforts to build good character. done by the school. The basic reason why the researcher made SMAN 1 Batu is because this school has implemented and cultivated the character of compassion. So it is very feasible that the results of this research will be used as a reference for other schools, especially schools that have experienced violent phenomena or a phenomenon called klitih. By using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. This study found that: first, the principal of SMAN 1 Batu has a paternalistic democratic leadership type. Second, the formation of students affectionate character is formed through the teachers example through discipline, and the application of the 5S concept (greetings, smiles, greetings, politeness, and courtesy). Third, the formation of student character is carried out with conscience, respect, tolerance, empathy, and justice. The character building is carried out together with the school community using an eclectic method.

Abstract

The development of science and technology as well as the fierce competition of educational institutions at this time requires schools to innovate, and be creative in making marketing strategies. Marketing strategy is one of the keys to the success of an institution in attracting public interest. The problems raised and studied in this study are: 1. How is the marketing promotion strategy carried out by the Mafatihul Hikmah Jati Agung Islamic boarding school, 2. How is the segmentation, targeting, and positioning strategy carried out by the Mafatihul Hikmah Jati Agung Islamic boarding school. This research was conducted at the Mafatihul Hikmah Islamic boarding school, Jati Agung, South Lampung with a qualitative approach. The results showed 1. Marketing promotion strategies at the Mafatihul Hikmah Islamic boarding school used print media (banners), social media (facebook and whatsapp), and word of mouth information. (personal selling). 2. The segmentation strategy applied using a geographical approach, the targeting is schools around Jati Agung, Mafatihul Himah Islamic boarding school positioning with the tahfidz program and habituation programs that are superior.

Abstract

This research is the result of field research on the role of the principal in developing an adiwiyata school at SMAN 1 Babat Lamongan. The focus of this research is to review, 1) Describe the role of the principal in developing an adiwiyata school at SMAN 1 Babat Lamongan, 2) Describe the supporting and inhibiting factors in developing the adiwiyata program at SMAN 1 Babat Lamongan. In this study, the researcher used descriptive qualitative research data, namely research procedures that produce descriptive data in the form of written or spoken words from people and observed behavior. The data sources that the researchers obtained came from primary and secondary data. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews, and documentation. Data analysis uses an interactive model through data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions. The technique of checking the validity of the data is through source triangulation, technical triangulation, and time triangulation. The results of the research conducted show the following conclusions: 1) The principal is very involved in developing the Adiwiyata school at SMAN 1 Babat Lamongan as an educator who is an example for educators, as a manager who controls and regulates appropriate results, as an administrator, as a supervisor, as leaders who improve the ability of educators in the development of adiwiyata, as innovators by seeking innovative new ideas and integrating each activity, and as motivators. 2) Factors supporting the development of the Adiwiyata program include: active participation of all school members in implementing the Adiwiyata program, adequate facilities and infrastructure, curriculum structure related to environmental protection and management policies, collaboration partners in environmental activities, special budget for activities adiwiyata, educators have competence in developing environmental learning activities.

Focus Study this is for understand about management curriculum thematic at SDLB Dharma Wanita Ujung Pangkah Gresik in effort develop ability intellectuals participant educate . Learning thematic in SLB same with school general , which Becomes difference is teacher must capable adapt condition child , if on normally they led for complete target but in SLB is teacher teach slowly until they capable control lesson , because participant educate no easy in understand eye lesson so teacher must have method creative and unique so that participant educate easy in understand . Study this aim answer a number of Formula Problem , ie : 1. How Management Curriculum program thematic in develop ability intellectual participant educate at SDLB Dharma Wanita Ujungpangkah Gresik, 2. How factor supporters and inhibitor Management curriculum program thematic in develop ability intellectual participant educate at SDLB Dharma Wanita Ujungpangkah Gresik.? Method study which used in study this is with study descriptive qualitative . In collection the data use method observation , interview deep as well as documentation . Abstract

History of progress and setbacks achieved by Muslims in various fields, such as in the religious and general fields, science, culture, architecture, politics, government, war, education, economy and so on. Results of this research show that: 1) History of Islamic civilization is a description of Muslims life activities in the past which originate from Islamic values that developed in educational management. In Classical period, there was only one central government (Arab) and for several centuries this government was very strong. The role of Arab people was very dominant, as the consequnces all existing cultural expressions were expressed through Arabic, which ultimately had created a unified Islamic culture, which all of the culture was in Arabic. 2) To differentiate between Arab culture and Islamic culture, it can be viewed by using a concept. That in Islam, there is a collection of normative dogmas and Islam as historical reality. Apart from normative and historical concepts, in determining Arab culture and Islamic culture, it is also possible to use the concepts of Ushul and Furu'. 3) Among the historians there are different opinion regarding to when Islamic history began. The periods that commonly used in the history of Islamic civilization are divided into three periods, namely the classical period, the medieval period and the modern period, all of them are used as references in the development of Islamic education management.

Abstract

The curriculum is the most important thing in the educational process. This study aims to examine the adaptation of salaf pesantren to era 4.0 with the presence of Mahad Aly in changes in curriculum management. The research method used by the researcher is descriptive qualitative with a field research approach. Sources of data in this study obtained from observations, interviews, and documentation. The results of the study show that: (1) Understanding Salaf Islamic Boarding Schools and Era 4.0. (2) The management of the Mahad Aly Al Hasaniyah curriculum entering the 4.0 era has three stages, namely: (a) Mahad Aly Al Hasaniyah curriculum planningentering 4.0 era three stages, namely the computer skills program, the preparation of the lesson schedule. (b) Implementation of the Mahad Aly Al Hasaniyah curriculum entering the 4.0 era, namely the implementation of daily learning, the implementation of computer skills twice a week, the use of streaming media in an activity, the use of E-book references (maktabah syamilah), and dawah skills through various media. (c) Evaluation of the Mahad Aly Al Hasaniyah curriculum entering this 4.0 era, namely applying the sorogan method, observing student activity in class, Mid-Semester Examination (UTS), Final Semester Examination (UAS), Making minutes and observing activities.

Abstract

All stakeholders in educational institutions, principals and teachers while at school must create a better leadership and learning process. However, sometimes there are school principals and teachers who are not active or proactive in improving their quality. Therefore, improving the quality of school principals and teachers is very important which is influenced by several variables, including supervisory strategies. Based on these problems, the author conducted research on supervisors' strategies in improving the quality of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat Jambi. This research aims to identify improvements in the quality of principals and teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat Jambi. The principal and deputy principal and teachers were the respondents in this research. This research methodology combines qualitative and descriptive approaches. Information is collected by means of observation, discussion and documentation. The findings of this research show that the supervisor's strategy for improving the quality of Principals at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat is through monthly meetings to review quality, discipline and politeness, active MGMP forums, and training to improve quality. Supervisors' strategies for improving the quality of teachers at SMA Negeri 10 Tanjung Jabung Barat, through qualification indicators, personality competence, learning competence and social competence.

Abstract

This study aims to discuss teacher performance appraisal. This research method is descriptive qualitative. The results of the study show that Teacher Competency Standards in the era of smart society 5.0 are fully developed from 4 main competencies, namely pedagogic, personality, social, and professional competencies. The fourth competency is integrated with teacher performance. There are indicators of teaching skills by teachers namely, a) questioning skills; b) skills to provide reinforcement (reinforcement skills); c) the skill of making variations; d) explaining skills ( explaining skills); e) skills to open and close lessons (set induction and closure skills); f) skills in guiding small group discussions; g) class management skills; h) individual learning skills. In conclusion, teacher performance has certain specifications or criteria. Teacher performance can be seen and measured based on specifications or competency criteria that must be owned by each teacher.

Abstract

Supervision is an important instrument insupporting theachievementof educational goals. Supervision or supervision carried out at the madrasah level is the responsibility of a madrasah head. The communication style of the head of the madrasah when supervising education personnel has an impact on improving the performance of education staff. This article discusses the communication style of the head of the madrasah in supervising education personnel in Man 2 Model Medan. Supervise the head of the madrasah how his efforts are in optimizing the potential of existing educators. This discussion is the result of research conducted in MAN 2 Model Medan. Qualitative research with results showing that the supervision model carried out by the head of the madrasah when supervising teachers with interpersonal communication style carried out by the head of the madrasah is able to motivate teachers and education staff to develop their capacity. Where the head of the madrasah observes directly the ongoing learning process in the supervised classroom while approaching it with an interpersonal communication style. This is done so that the head of the madrasah knows the readiness and preparation of teachers in the learning process. From here the head of the madrasah will follow up as needed to optimize the potential of teachers and education staff respectively.
