Abstract

This research aims to test the effectiveness of Creative Problem Solving (CPS) learning and to describe students' mathematical creative thinking skills in terms of Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). The method used is a mixed method research with a sequential explanatory design. In this research, 6 research subjects were taken based on the level of SRL in class VIII A students of SMP Negeri 1 Tayu, Pati Regency for the academic year 2022/2023. The results showed that (1) the CPS learning model was effective on students' mathematical creative thinking abilities, and (2) research subjects with high SRL categories were able to meet all indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability, namely fluency, flexibility, originality, and elaboration; research subjects with moderate SRL category only met three indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability, namely fluency, originality, and elaboration; research subjects with low SRL category can’t meet all indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability. Recommendations to students with low levels of SRL can’t meet all indicators of mathematical creative thinking ability by giving assignments independently and doing peer teaching.

Abstract

This study uses the ADDIE Model development model through 5 stages: Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation and Evaluation. This study aims to produce learning media that meet the criteria of valid, effective, and practical. At SMK Negeri 11 Malang, the majority of IT majors, so for the learning model, you can use PjBL (Project Based Learning). Learning media can use augmented reality-based applications. This media received very valid criteria with a percentage of 3.8 from design experts, 3.7 from material experts, 3.3 from learning experts. The average validity test result is 3.6 in the conclusion that this media is very valid. The quality of the media produced met the criteria of being very practical with a percentage of 3.58 in the small group test and the large group test of 3.62. The average practicality test result is 3.6 concluded that this medium is very practical. The results of the effectiveness trial with the percentage of student completion scores during small group trials and large group trials were 100%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the augmented reality-based media developed is valid, practical, and effectively used in learning three-dimensional material at SMK Negeri 11 Malang.

Abstract

Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengidentifikasi trend penelitian pendidikan matematika untuk meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kreatif siswa dengan bantuan teknologi. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah Systematic Literature Research (SLR) yang mengarah untuk mengidentifikasi, mengkaji, mengevaluasi, dan menafsirkan artikel yang relevan. Data penelitian dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan aplikasi publish or perish dengan kata kunci kreativitas matematis. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan berpikir kreatif berbasis teknologi memiliki banyak celah untuk dilakukan penelitian. Pada (RQ1) ditemukan celah untuk melakukan penelitian dengan tujuan mengetahui kefeektifan media yang dikombinasikan dengan berbagai pendekatan, selain itu ditemukan celah untuk media seperti scratch dan sebagainya. Pada (RQ2) ditemukan celah untuk melakukan penelitian pada materi statistik di sekolah, pada perguruan tinggi ditemukan celah pada mata kuliah media pembelajaran matematika dan strategi belajar mengajar matematika, sedangkan untuk metode penelitian ditemukan celah pada mix method. Pada (RQ3) trend penelitian yang ditemukan adalah penggunaan media geogebra berbasis android untuk memfasilitasi kemampuan berpikir kreatif matematis.

Abstract

This study aims to provide an overview of how to applying high school mathematics learning in the Merdeka Learning Curriculum in Bontang. The research method used in this study uses a qualitative descriptive method by collecting data through a questionnaire to obtain phenomena that occur regarding implementing the independent learning curriculum in high school mathematics learning. The number of subjects is 20 teachers from high schools in Bontang who have filled out a questionnaire. From the results of the observation about the application of vocational learning mathematics to the Free Learning Curriculum, there are still problems; for example, students' perceptions of mathematics are difficult, the learning media used by teachers is less interactive, teachers do not master technological developments, supporting facilities in learning mathematics are inadequate. It was concluded that implementing the Merdeka Learning curriculum in vocational mathematics learning requires more teacher innovation and creativity in designing models and media for learning mathematics that are more interactive so that students can easily understand and be given various questions to solve them

Abstract

The low ability to think creatively in Indonesia encourages educational institutions to develop effective learning models. The purpose of this research is to: (1) See the influence of Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning on students' creative mathematical thinking abilities (2) To find out how students respond to the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and learning model. Create (RADEC) on the mathematical creative thinking abilities of class XI IPS MA As`adiyah Uloe students in Bone Regency. The research method used is quantitative research with the Quasi Experimental Design type. The research population included all students of class XI MA As'adiyah Uloe, Bone Regency, totaling 45 students consisting of 2 classes, namely class The sampling technique uses saturated sampling. Research data was collected through written tests (pretest and posttest) and student response questionnaires. The results of the research show that there is an influence of the Read, Answer, Discuss, Explain, and Create (RADEC) learning model on the Mathematical Creative Thinking Ability of Class Very Good Category)

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran berbasis GeoGebra yang dapat meningkatkan pemahaman siswa Sekolah Menengah Pertama (SMP) pada konsep bangun datar geometri bidang. Materi bangun ruang sisi datar seperti kubus, balok, prisma, dan limas seringkali dianggap sulit bagi siswa SMP karena bersifat abstrak dan memerlukan visualisasi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah penelitian pengembangan dengan Model Addie (Analisys, Disain, Development, Implementasi,Evaluasi ). Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada bulan April 2024 di salah satu SMP negeri di palembang dengan melibatkan siswa kelas VIII. Berdasarkan hasil survei, kualitas media pembelajaran dinilai berdasarkan penilaian validasi ahli media dan ahli materi, dan nilai yang masuk kategori “sangat efektif” masing-masing sebesar 85,7 dan 87,7%. Hasil angket respon siswa untuk mengkonfirmasi kepraktisan media dinilai pada eksperimen kelompok kecil dan eksperimen kelompok besar, dan memperoleh nilai masing-masing sebesar 86,46 dan 88,76% termasuk ''sangat praktis''. Secara keseluruhan dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran Geogebra menggunakan materi bangun ruang sisi datar Efektif dan praktis digunakan untuk pembelajaran.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effectiveness of blended learning containing soft skills in Numerical Methods in Balikpapan University. This type of research is quantitative research with a pre-experimental experimental design, namely one group pretest-posttest design. The subject of this study was a student of Mathematics Education at Balikpapan University in the Numerical Methods course. Research instruments in the form of tests. Data analysis techniques using the Student Wilcoxon test on the learning outcome test and the t-test on N-Gain were normalized with the help of the JASP program. The results of the hypothesis test showed a value of   with , then , the results of the H0 data were rejected so that it was concluded that students could complete mathematics learning using a blended learning design with soft skills with a completeness value of 80.38 with an N-Gain score of 0.64. This means that students' ability to master numerical method subject matter is in the very good category with N-Gain values in the medium category.

Abstract

The ability and mastery of high school students in mathematics in Indonesia is still low compared to students abroad. The purpose of this study was to determine the students' obstacle epistemology, compile a didactic design based on obstacle epistemology and to find out the results of the didactic design implementation in overcoming the epistemology obstacle in the composition function material. The research method used was Didactical Design Research (DDR) design. The sample of this research was students of class X MIPA SMA Al Umanaa Boarding School, Sukabumi Regency who were taken purposively. The research instrument consisted of 10 descriptive questions which were then analyzed through three stages, namely the prospective, metapedadidactic, and retrospective stages. The results show that the epistemology obstacles that arise include conceptual barriers, procedural obstacles and technical operational obstacles. Students experience conceptual obstacles in the form of not understanding the questions or questions given, not understanding the concept or composition function formula, errors in determining the form of the composition function and how to operate it, while the procedural obstacles that arise are students incorrectly determining the simple form of the function (f / g ) (x), wrong in determining the value of f (x-2), not working on problems and wrong in using arithmetic operations. The obstacles to operational techniques are errors caused by inaccuracy in writing questions and the results of algebraic operations. Based on the epistemology of the obstacle, a didactic design was created and implemented in the classroom. The results of the didactic design implementation show obstacles due to inaccuracy in writing and operating algebraic operations that have not occurred, however, conceptual and procedural obstacles still arise among some respondents.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika siswa ditinjau dari tingkat Adversity Quotient dengan kategori tinggi, sedang, dan rendah. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan adalah studi kasus dan desain penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Subjek penelitian ditentukan menggunakan teknik “purposive sampling” dengan 3 siswa. Data yang didapatkan berupa hasil angket, tes dan wawancara. Uji keabsahan data dilakukan dengan triangulasi teknik. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VII SMP Terpadu Al-Ghifari Kabupaten Sukabumi. Hasil dari penelitian menunjukan bahwa siswa dengan AQ tinggi dapat memenuhi empat indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan baik, dua indikator diantaranya terpenuhi dengan sangat lengkap, siswa dengan AQ sedang dapat memenuhi tiga indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika secara merata dan  satu indikator kurang terpenuhi dengan lengkap, sedangkan siswa dengan AQ rendah hanya dapat memenuhi dua indikator kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematika dengan baik, dan satu indikator sangat kurang terpenuhi dengan lengkap

Abstract

Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam bidang matematika masih rendah. Hal tersebut ditunjukan oleh laporan terbaru PISA tahun 2018 dan pada saat melakukan observasi awal kepada lima orang siswa kelas VIII SMP untuk meninjau kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan E-LKS model blended learning yang valid untuk melatih kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa kelas VIII SMP. Jenis penelitian yang dilakukan adalah penelitian dan pengembangan (R&D) dengan prosedur menggunakan tahapan pengembangan menurut Sugiyono yang dibatasi sampai empat tahapan yaitu: 1) potensi dan masalah; 2) mengumpulkan informasi; 3) desain produk; 4) validasi desain. Instrumen pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media. Data hasil penelitian dianalisis secara deskriptif. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa 94,8% kriteria kelayakan isi materi sudah terpenuhi dengan kategori sangat baik (4,74), 85% kriteria kelayakan bahasa sudah terpenuhi dengan kategori sangat baik (4,27), 95,41% kriteria kelayakan penyajian sudah terpenuhi dengan kategori sangat baik (4,8), dan 92,85% kriteria kelayakan kegrafikan sudah terpenuhi dengan kategori sangat baik (4,6). Berdasarkan data tersebut maka 91% kriteria penilaian kelayakan E-LKS model blended learning yang dikembangkan sudah terpenuhi dan tergolong kategori sangat baik (4,64) serta valid dan sangat layak digunakan dalam pembelajaran
