Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the principal's digital leadership in developing teacher literacy skills at Al-Falah Darussalam Junior High School. The study used a qualitative approach with a descriptive type. Data collection was conducted through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation involving the principal, vice principal, and teachers as research informants. Data validity was tested through source triangulation, technical triangulation, member checking, and increased persistence. Data analysis used the Miles and Huberman model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the principal's digital leadership was manifested through the development of a technology-based learning system, implementation of digital supervision, holding digital literacy workshops, and utilizing the Al-Falah Edu platform to support administration and learning. The principal played an active role in building a culture of digital innovation by continuously strengthening teacher competencies. The implementation of digital leadership had a positive impact on improving teachers' digital literacy skills, as demonstrated by the ability to utilize interactive learning media, the use of digital applications in the learning process, and increasing teacher creativity in developing technology-based learning tools. In addition, the digitalization of learning also encourages the creation of a more interactive, effective, and adaptive learning environment to technological developments. This research shows that digital leadership is a strategic factor in supporting educational transformation and teacher competency development in the digital era.

Abstract

This study aims to test the application of the Think-Pair-Share (TPS) learning model in improving cooperation and learning outcomes of fifth-grade students in Natural and Social Sciences (IPAS) at SD Gugus 02 Tegalombo Pacitan. The study used a quantitative approach with a Non-equivalent Control Group Design, involving 61 students as a population, consisting of 30 students in the experimental class and 31 students in the control class. Data were collected through learning outcome tests and cooperation questionnaires that had been tested for validity (value > 0.361) and reliability (coefficient = 0.793), with analysis using Paired Sample T-Test and N-Gain. The results showed a significant increase between the pretest and posttest in both variables (p < 0.05), which indicates that the TPS model is effective in improving students' cognitive, affective, engagement, and motivational aspects. The N-Gain analysis also strengthens this finding, with a substantial increase in the posttest compared to the pretest, so that TPS is proven to be successful in significantly improving student cooperation and learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze Islamic boarding school development management through the Teacher Assignment Program at Al-Utsmani Islamic Boarding School, Bondowoso, East Java, using the Plan–Do–Check–Act (PDCA) perspective developed by W. Edwards Deming. The study was conducted to examine how the Teacher Assignment Program contributes to institutional development and educational quality improvement in Islamic boarding schools. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive field research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation involving program coordinators, administrators, and teacher assignment participants. The data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, including data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, while data validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings reveal that the Teacher Assignment Program is implemented through four integrated management stages: planning, implementation, evaluation, and follow-up. The program contributes to strengthening human resource development, expanding educational service networks, improving institutional governance, and enhancing educational quality sustainability. The implementation of the PDCA cycle demonstrates that continuous improvement principles can support effective Islamic boarding school development management. This study contributes to the development of Islamic education management by positioning the Teacher Assignment Program as a strategic model for sustainable institutional development and educational quality improvement in Islamic boarding schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Islamic education management through the 3S Program (A Handful of Rice, an Egg, and a Thousand Rupiah) in strengthening the social care character of students at SMP Negeri 02 Sungai Panjang. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive type of research. The research informants consist of school principals, teachers, education staff, and students involved in the implementation of the 3S Program. Data was collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, then analyzed using the Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña model which included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawn. The results of the study showed that the implementation of Islamic education management in the 3S Program was carried out through four management functions, namely planning (takhthith), organizing (tanzhim), implementation (tawjih), and supervision (riqabah). Program planning was carried out through the determination of objectives, objectives, and activity schedules. Organizing involves school principals, teachers, education staff, and students in a clear division of tasks. The implementation of the program is carried out routinely through activities to collect and distribute assistance to students in need, while supervision is carried out through periodic monitoring and evaluation. The implementation of the 3S Program has positive implications for strengthening the social care character of students which is shown through increasing empathy, sharing habits, responsibility, and the spirit of mutual cooperation. This study recommends that the 3S Program continue to be developed as a model of character strengthening based on Islamic education management that can be applied to other educational units.

Abstract

Contemporary Islamic education faces the challenges of reductionism due to the dominance of the positivistic-materialistic paradigm, which shifts the orientation of education into a mere pragmatic transfer of knowledge and triggers moral decadence. This study aims to philosophically analyze the nature of the epistemology of love (mahabbah) in Islamic education, explore its representation in the Nabawiyah learning tradition, and formulate the strategic relevance of integrating the Love-Based Curriculum (LBC) and the concept of deep learning in response to modern challenges. Utilizing a qualitative approach through library research with philosophical-pedagogical and normative-theological approaches, the data were critically analyzed using content analysis techniques. The results indicate that: (1) The epistemology of love in Islam is a transcendental onto-epistemic instrument that integrates the functions of 'aql (intellect) and qalb (heart) to grasp the essence of truth through the purification of the soul (tazkiyat al-nafs); (2) The Nabawiyah tradition serves as an ideal prototype of LBC that prioritizes an atmosphere of gentleness (al-rifq), personalization of teaching (mura'at al-furuq al-fardiyyah), and dialogical-reflective methods (hiwar); (3) The integration of LBC and deep learning holds strategic relevance in dismantling the secularism of science-spirituality, creating psychological safety that optimizes higher-order cognition, and transforming the evaluation system toward the attainment of insan kamil. This study recommends restructuring the curriculum and repositioning the role of educators to mainstream compassionate values in order to foster a generation of true learners with ulul albab character.
