Abstract

This research aims to:(1)describe the management of halal canteens at madrasahs in the Gresik district (2)describe the presence of madrasah canteens in the Gresik district;(3)describe the role that halal canteen management plays in preserving the madrasah canteens' continued existence in the Gresik district. This study employs a descriptive qualitative research methodology. There are two types of data sources:primary and secondary. In this study, documentation, interviews, and observation are the methods used to collect data. The three steps of the Miles Hubermen theory data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are used in data analysis methodologies. The study's findings indicate: (1)The Gresik task force manages the Halal canteen in phases, including organizing, planning, actuating, and controlling.(2)The existence of madrasah canteens in Gresik Regency is indicated by the number of madrasah canteens in Gresik Regency that have been halal certified, so they are very enthusiastic and comply with government programs for halal certification of their products.(3)In managing halal canteens in order to maintain the existence of madrasah halal canteens in Gresik,collaboration of management principles and halal principles is needed. Management principles as a tool to achieve program goals,while halal principles are used as guidelines in running the madrasah halal canteen.

Abstract

Digital media in marketing educational services is a form of technological development so that the dissemination of information becomes wider. With the competition between institutions, institutions need to develop effective marketing strategies, one of which is by utilizing technological developments, namely digital media. Educational institutions market their products and services through digital media can be a solution in achieving marketing planning from the educational institution itself by using various digital marketing concepts so that the planned program can be realized. This study was conducted to describe the marketing strategy carried out by SMAN 3 Ponorogo in order to realize a marketable and sellable educational institution through the advantages of digital media. The research method used in this study is qualitative using interview methods, observation and document studies to collect data. In this study, data sources were obtained through respondents, namely the principal, vice principal, teachers, students and the community. Data analysis using miles, Huberman and saldana. In data collection using data condensation, data display and data verification. The purpose of this study is to determine how educational marketing management in realizing a marketable and sellable educational institution, to find out how to implement educational marketing through digital media. This study resulted in the implementation of educational marketing at SMAN 3 Ponorogo by branding a superior program, namely the international class program, implementing online and offline-based learning through digital media, and maximizing content uploaded on social media and providing good service to education consumers.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of OBA (Outcome Based Accreditation) on the quality of education at KH. Mukhtar Syafaat University (Uimsya) Blokagung Banyuwangi and its impact on the quality of education. The research design used qualitative, involving in-depth interviews with key stakeholders, was used to collect data, in addition to observation and documentation. The findings revealed that OBA has significantly increased the relevance of graduate competencies to the job market. By focusing on measurable learning outcomes, the institution is able to align its curriculum with industry demands, resulting in increased employability of graduates. In addition, OBA has encouraged a more transparent and accountable assessment system, thus encouraging holistic student development. This study recommends that higher education institutions adopt OBA as a quality assurance framework to ensure that graduates have the skills and competencies needed to succeed in a dynamic global job market.

Abstract

Development and education are closely connected fields, and education undoubtedly plays a significant role in development. Achieving social and economic wellbeing and making development are possible via education. An overview and findings of research on the role of education on Indonesia's economic development are presented in this paper. Descriptive qualitative research techniques are employed in this study to gather data, which is then examined by looking at secondary data and observing the visual correlation between variables. Information gathered from official educational institutions' publications or records. The study's findings indicate that Indonesian education, both in terms of quantity and quality, indirectly supports the country's economic growth.

Abstract

Management is a systematic and structured process that integrates aspects of planning, organizing, implementing, controlling and evaluating to achieve main goals. This research was conducted at UPTD SD Negeri 03 Muaro Paiti, with the aim of describing management implementation at this institution. The approach used is qualitative research with analytical descriptive methods, using data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The results of the research reveal that the leadership of the UPTD principal of SD Negeri 03 Muaro Paiti, since its founding until now, has mostly applied the concept of management as an art. . This is caused by the absence of a formal or professional educational background in the field of management among the serving school principals. Replacement of school principals is based more on family factors, which then have an impact on the quality of school management and the achievement of the institution's goals

Abstract

This study aims to identify the types and sources of educational financing in State Senior High Schools (SMAN) in Rejang Lebong Regency. A descriptive qualitative approach was used, involving in-depth interviews, observations, and document studies at purposively selected SMANs. The findings indicate that the educational financing in SMAN 10 Rejang Lebong Regency comes from three main sources: the government through the School Operational Assistance (BOS) program and the Special Allocation Fund (DAK), the community through contributions from school committees, and third parties through partnerships with private institutions or alumni. Financing is divided into two main categories: operational and development. Operational financing includes daily school needs such as teacher salaries and utility costs, while development financing is used for long-term projects like infrastructure development and teacher training. However, the main challenges in fund management include delays in BOS fund disbursement and lack of transparency in managing community donations. This study recommends improving transparency and fostering better collaboration between the government, community, and private sector to create a more sustainable and effective financing model.

Abstract

Multiculturalism is an understanding that emphasizes equality and equality of local cultures without ignoring the rights and existence of other cultures, which is important for us to understand together in the life of a multicultural society like Indonesia. Multicultural education can be formulated as a form of awareness about cultural diversity, human rights as well as reducing or eliminating all types of prejudice or prejudice to build a just and advanced society. Multicultural education can also be interpreted as a strategy to develop awareness of a person's pride in their nation. The aim of this research is to find out the implementation of multicultural learning to build the character of Madrasah students. In this research the research method used is a qualitative approach and descriptive analytical method. Data collection was carried out in 3 ways, namely, observation, interviews and documentation. The results of this research show that multicultural education can shape students' character starting by providing lessons about politeness and humanity, mutual respect, cooperation and tolerance, not discriminating, and so on.

Abstract

This study investigates the factors contributing to employee turnover and retention strategies in Pesantren Al Muslim Bireuen, focusing on the unique dynamics of Islamic educational institutions. The research adopts a qualitative approach, utilizing in-depth interviews with 15 employees and document analysis to explore their experiences and perspectives. Findings reveal that key factors causing turnover include low job satisfaction, excessive workload, uncompetitive compensation, and limited career development opportunities. The study also highlights effective retention strategies such as improving employee welfare, providing career advancement programs, and fostering a supportive work culture. These findings align with Herzberg's two-factor theory and the Job Demand-Resource model, offering a nuanced understanding of turnover in the pesantren context. The research recommends implementing comprehensive strategies to enhance employee satisfaction and organizational commitment, including periodic training, competitive remuneration, and improved communication between management and staff. This study contributes to the existing literature by examining turnover in Islamic boarding schools, which remains underexplored in human resource management research. Limitations of the study include the single-site focus and relatively small sample size, suggesting the need for further research involving diverse pesantren across regions.

Abstract

"Integration of Management Values (Ajennangeng) in the Lontara Latoa Tana Bone Manuscript: A Management Theory Approach" aims to explore how the management values contained in the Lontara Latoa Tana Bone Manuscript can be integrated into modern management practices. This study uses a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis to understand the meaning and relevance of Ajennangeng's values in the current management context. The results of the study show that the values such as ethics, social responsibility, and collaboration contained in the Lontara Manuscript can serve as a guideline in more transparent and accountable managerial decision-making. In addition, this study also found that the integration of local values can increase stakeholder trust and strengthen people's cultural identity. Thus, this study recommends that a multidisciplinary approach that combines aspects of management, sociology, and anthropology can be adopted to better understand how management values (Ajennangeng) in the lontara Latoa Tana Bone manuscript can be integrated in a broader context.

Abstract

This study aims to explain the implementation of the Management Information System (MIS), supervision of the MIS, and the impact of the MIS in improving the accountability of teacher administrative reporting at MAN Kota Lhokseumawe. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a descriptive approach implemented at MAN Kota Lhokseumawe, which was conducted from February to April 2025. Data sources consist of primary data obtained directly from informants (teachers, Head of Administration, and Deputy Curriculum) and secondary data from various literature and relevant documents. Data collection was carried out through three main techniques: observation of interactions between teachers, information systems, and administrative processes, open interviews with informants, and documentation in the form of tracing written records and authentic evidence of the role of the MIS in improving teacher administrative accountability. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of the MIS has been carried out systematically through the stages of planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating. Each teacher has a personal account to access E-Kinerja, with the obligation to upload administration in the form of workbooks 1-4 covering various learning devices. Supervision is carried out directly by the head of the Madrasah with data validation, a warning system for delays, and periodic evaluations through quarterly meetings. The impact of using SIM is very positive, including increasing information transparency, easy data access, accelerating the reporting process, time efficiency, and reducing paper use. However, there are still obstacles in implementing the JIBAS application due to limited servers, skilled human resources, and inadequate funding.
