Abstract

Marketing management in an educational institution is very important. This is the desire of education consumers to know what is in the school. In that case, an education management strategy is needed to carry out good and correct marketing according to existing conditions. When marketing a school, what must be considered is the quality of the school as something that will be offered to the market. The implementation of an education marketing management strategy will be good if it is supported by good school quality. However, there are still schools that have not integrated the two well. This research aims to determine the education management strategy carried out at MTs Annurain Lonrae and to determine the quality of school at MTs Annurain Lonrae. The research method used is qualitative research. The results of this research indicate that MTs Annurain Lonrae has implemented an education marketing management strategy and the quality of the school is quite good, although improvements are still needed for the future.

Abstract

Work motivation and teacher competence in an educational institution are interrelated and contribute to an institutional mission. SMA S Nurul Yaqin which is under a certain foundation has interesting dynamics to observe, analyze and explain regarding the motivation of teachers to work and their competencies. This research was conducted with the aim of analyzing work motivation and its relationship with teacher competence as educators. The type of approach in this research is qualitative. By determining the research subject using purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through interviews, observation and documentation from various primary and secondary data sources. Then the data were analyzed by data reduction techniques, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. This study obtained the results that each teacher has different motivations and main competencies. However, almost all of the informants realized that work motivation and teacher competence were positively, significantly, and correlatively related. Because after all, the motivation and competence of teachers and performance in general are intertwined. This study recommends that schools institutionally facilitate various programs to support the main competencies of each teacher, such as professionalism, individual and social. However, teachers are also required to take the initiative as individuals in accessing information

Abstract

This article aims to describe the results of a user satisfaction survey on the integrity performance of IAIN Langsa graduates who work in government or private agencies, institutions, and organizations in Aceh Province. Performance with integrity is measured by the ability of graduates, which includes several aspects, namely discipline, honesty, work motivation, morality, and social skills. Performance with integrity is calculated using a survey questionnaire instrument tested for validity and reliability and distributed to IAIN Langsa graduates in Aceh Province users. Based on the results of data analysis using descriptive statistical test techniques, The users responded to all aspects measured by the integrity performance at the level of the category of satisfied and very disgusting. The research concluded that IAIN Langsa graduates have been able to produce performance with integrity which users rate as comfortable and very satisfying with an average percentage of 85%

Abstract

Leadership in Islamic educational institutions is a very important thing to study in depth. The impact of a leadership can result in the back and forth of the quality of service of an institution or institution it leads. There are several leadership models that can be applied, one of which is transformational leadership, where this model is oriented towards better change for the institution. This research examines related to transformational leadership in improving the quality of educational services at STAIT Yogyakarta. This research method uses field research, namely field research at STAIT Yogyakarta, by interviewing several respondents, namely the Chairman, Lecturers, and Employees of STAIT Yogyakarta, field observation, and documentation analysis using data in the form of documents and related data sources needed. Data analysis using the Miles and Huberman methods is by data collection, data reduction, data presentation, and inference or data verification. Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the leadership at STAIT Yogyakarta puts forward the aspect of change innovation where the chairman of STAIT Yogyakarta always tries to provide encouragement, and motivation to the entire community to be oriented towards institution development and institutional change. It is proven that the ideals of change that are now being worked on by STAIT Yogyakarta are revitalization and restoration of the construction of a new building on Jalan Wates Yogyakarta.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of public relations management in improving the image of Islamic boarding schools. The research method used is a descriptive qualitative case study. This research was conducted at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Pasirnangka Tigaraksa, Tangerang, Banten Province. The informants of this study were the pesantren leaders, the head of the public relations department, the administrators of the pesantren, the teachers' administrators, the students' parents, and the surrounding community: the researcher's research instruments, interview guidelines, and observation guidelines. Data analysis includes data reduction and presentation, as well as concluding. The research results indicate that public relations management at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Pesantren Pasirnangka Tigaraksa Tangerang is very influential in improving the image of the pesantren, with a sound management system in the form of planning, implementation, and evaluation. All programs can run according to their original purpose. Public relations management at Tarbiyatul Mubtadiin Islamic Boarding School, Pasirnangka Tigaraksa Tangerang, is very effective both in implementation and the results obtained. Although several challenges and obstacles must be faced, all of them can be overcome with a sound public relations management system to achieve a good image.

Abstract

The main problem in this research is the lack of effectiveness in implementing conflict management by educators, student representatives, BK teachers, and homeroom teachers. This study aims to describe how conflict management plans in solving problems, how to implement conflict management in solving problems, and how to evaluate conflict management in solving student problems at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. This study used a qualitative analysis which took place at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. Then to test the validity of the data used is the persistence of the observer, and triangulation. The results of the study indicate that the implementation of conflict management carried out in solving student problems includes planning which at this stage does not directly involve the principal and only general planning, there is no more specific planning, only short-term and long-term programs as conflict management at MTsN 1 Tanah Datar. In the implementation of conflict management which has been going quite well, but there are some things that still need to be considered, such as there are still educators who use violence and do not carry out the steps that have been regulated in conflict management theory in solving student problems.

Abstract

Penelitian ini adalah penelitian terbaru berkaitan dengan manajemen kurikulum di masa pembelajaran online  dimasa pandemi covid19i. Selain dari itu penelitian ini juga mengambil variabel motivasi belajar siswa pada masa pembelajaran online. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui adakah pengaruh manajemen kurikulum terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran online di masa pandemi covid 19. Hasil dari penelitian yang diperoleh dari analisis yang telah dilakukan, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa kepuasan siswa/siswi kelas X terhadap manajemen kurikulum SMK Muhammadiyah 2 Mertoyudan tahun pelajaran 2020/2021 masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan ditunjukkan rata-rata 30,83 sebanyak 33 siswa atau 51,6%. Sedangkan motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran online masuk dalam kategori sedang dengan ditunjukkan rata-rata 32.36 25 siswa atau 39,0%, dan manajemen kurikulum berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap motivasi belajar siswa pada pembelajaran secara online dengan dibuktikan nilai koefisiensi 0,000 lebih kecil dari 0,05.

Abstract

The month of Ramadan is the month of forgiveness and the month of Maghfirah. All useful activities carried out in this month will be rewarded with Him. Most schools in Indonesia, in the month of Ramadan, policies are often made to keep students in school by cutting time in the learning process. In contrast to one area of Padang, which makes a policy so that the learning process for students is transferred to the mosque/musholla during the month of Ramadan. However, in the implementation process, there are still a number of obstacles which can be detailed in the following four points: 1) Planning for the management of the Ramadan Islamic Boarding School, 2) Organizing the Ramadan Islamic Boarding School 3) Implementation of the Ramadan Islamic Boarding School, 4) Evaluation of the Ramadan Islamic Boarding School. The research method is qualitative research. The data collection technique was done by interview, observation, and documentation study. The data were analyzed with the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Research informants were students, presenters, supervisors of Ramadhan Islamic boarding schools consisting of teachers and youth of mosques/musholla, and parents of students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang. This study uses a type of research that is qualitative. The data collection method in this thesis uses the method of observation, interviews and documentation. The data analysis technique used is data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal has been going well. This can be seen from (1) the planning of the recruitment of educators: a) the formation of a recruitment committee for educators is carried out by deliberation, b) preparing the requirements for new educators to have a diploma and learning certificate, c) the placement of a recruitment committee for educators is arranged based on performance and capabilities. (2) Dissemination: dissemination of information on the recruitment of educators by sharing information through frequently used applications such as Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp. (3) Acceptance: a) the collection of applicants' application files is done by looking at the criteria of the prospective new educators in accordance with the provisions of the school, b) The process of collecting prospective applicants is based on the specified conditions, then the committee examines them. (4) Selection: a) the selection system is carried out by interviewing and filling out forms, b) the selection process is carried out by the committee by registering, such as looking at educational background, and desired position. c) The school's selection method uses the interview method. The supporting factors for the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang are: a) facilities, b) collaboration between teams, c) human resources. The inhibiting factors for the implementation of the recruitment of educators at SMA Nurul Amal Palembang are: a) lack of coordination, b) the late formation of an educator recruitment committee.

Abstract

This study aims to explore the problems of the implementation of the Computer-Based National Assessment (ANBK) which was carried out at SMPN 1 and SMAN 1 Danau Seluluk, Seruyan Regency, which are schools that are geographically as well as located far from urban centers and the availability of internet networks is not optimal. The research method uses descriptive qualitative research. The research subjects in this study were school principals, vice principals and implementing proctors. The research results obtained in the field included, SMPN 1 and SMAN 1 Danau Seluluk implemented semi-online ANBK. This was done because the condition of the internet network was unstable, besides that the lack of complete ANBK facilities and infrastructure, this is evidenced by the limited number of laptops and computers available. Furthermore, students also experience difficulties in answering ANBK questions related to literacy and numeracy. This occurs because of the gap between the material provided by the teacher and the questions given at ANBK so that teachers need training and assistance in developing learning in accordance with the demands of ANBK.
