Abstract

This study aimed to determine the popularity of tourist destinations in Lombok Timur with three investigated categories; the destination for islands, nature, and beaches. We use descriptive statistical approaches with univariate and bivariate methods. A random survey using google forms was distributed to 196 respondents within a particular time. Some The aims of this study were to determine (1) to examine the differences between the Talking Stick Versus Direct Instruction method on critical thinking skills, (2) to examine the differences in learning styles to critical thinking skills, and (3) to examine the effect of the interaction between the Talking Stick Versus Direct method. Instruction and learning styles on critical thinking skills in Indonesian subjects. This quantitative research uses experimental methods. The researcher used SPSS 26 to calculate the two-way analysis of variance. The research design used is a 2x3 factorial design. Because this research was conducted in four classes, namely 2 experimental classes and 2 control classes. The experimental class was treated with the Talking Stick method while the control class was given the Direct Instruction learning method. In each control class and experimental class, they were divided into three groups, namely the audio, visual and kinesthetic groups. The data analysis technique in this study is a two-way analysis of variance with a significance level of = 5%. Based on the results of the data analysis, they are: (1) There are differences in the Talking Stick Versus Direct Instruction method on Critical Thinking Skills, (2) There are differences in learning styles on critical thinking skills, (3) There is an interaction effect between the Talking Stick Versus Direct Instruction method and the learning style. learn critical thinking skills. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that using the Talking Stick Method and Learning Styles could improve Critical Thinking Skills. The implication of this research is that the Talking Stick Method can be used as a way to improve students' critical thinking skills.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to examine the use of Hybrid Learning and achievement motivation on Student Civic Education Learning Outcomes. This study used a 2X2 factorial quasi-experimental design. The research data were collected using the questionnaire method and the test method. Then the data were analyzed using the two-way ANOVA statistical analysis technique. The research population was all students of class VI SDN Kaliasin I Surabaya. In this study, the instruments used were study questionnaires and PPKN learning outcomes tests. This questionnaire uses a Likert scale. Data collection methods commonly used in a study are: tests, interviews, questionnaires, and observations. Based on the research, the following results were obtained (1) There is a difference in the effect of Hybrid Learning and Online Learning on student Civic Education learning outcomes. PPKN learning using Hybrid Learning produces student PPKN learning outcomes better than Online Learning, (2) There are differences in PPKN learning outcomes for students who have high achievement motivation and students who have low achievement motivation. Students who have a high level of achievement motivation produce better PPKN learning outcomes than students who have a low level of achievement motivation, and (3) There is an interaction between learning models and achievement motivation on PPKN learning outcomes. Civics learning using Hybrid Learning on students who have a high level of achievement motivation have better PPKN learning outcomes than students who have a low level of achievement motivation. Based on the results of this study, it was concluded that using Hybrid Learning and achievement motivation could improve student learning outcomes of PPKN at SDN Kaliasin I Surabaya. The implication of this research is that Hybrid Learning can be used as a way to improve student learning outcomes in Civics.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to analyze: (1) the effect of employer brand on turnover intention in hotel industry; (2) the effect of employer brand on turnover intention in hotel industry; (3) the effect of employee engagement on turnover intention in hotel industry; (4) the effect of employer brand on turnover intention through employee engagement in hotel industry. The populations in this study were employees of five-star hotels in Jakarta, with a sample of 330 people. The sample technique used was simple random sampling. Data collection was done by distributing questionnaires to respondents. This study uses Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) procedures in processing data and testing the research model. The results showed that employer brand and employee engagement had a significant negative effect on turnover intention. Another result is that employee engagement significantly mediates the effect of employer brand on turnover intention. This study found that the greatest factor affecting the turnover intention of five-star hotel employees was employer brand through employee engagement. Therefore, in order to reduce turnover intention, hotels need to increase employee engagement by strengthening hotel brand employers.

Abstract

A company engaged in the field of goods delivery services or better known as expedition services which is one of the fields that is growing rapidly with the needs of national freight forwarding services. However, from the delivery of entrustments that have been recorded, they are only stored as recording reports. With the existing problems, the current research that the author conducts aims to implement one of the algorithms in data mining, namely the C4.5 Algorithm to produce complex decisions to be simpler such as data for customers to better challenge customers with large-scale groups so as not to turn away or move to other expedition services. The results showed that the tree resulting from the C4.5 method with the C4.5 Algorithm had an accuracy percentage of 84.00%. The data processing carried out in this study used the help of the Rapid Minner application to obtain the model. The results of this study can recommend marketing the sale of freight forwarding services with the criteria of what kind of customers will get a discount.

Abstract

In this study, GPS technology was used to determine the location for picking up residents' gar-bage. Previously, a Website-based Garbage Bank application was built which was used as a waste bank transaction information system, waste price information, and citizen savings book information. However, during the implementation of the Website-based Garbage Bank in Pematang Serai Village, there were problems, namely the lack of waste bank volunteers who run the Garbage Bank, especially in picking up waste from residents' homes. The lack of gar-bage collection volunteers results in the accumulation of garbage in the community due to time constraints for customers to deliver their waste to the Waste Bank. So the use of geotagging technology on the Global Positioning System (GPS) can make it easier for the public to report the points where garbage is collected that the garbage officers did not know beforehand so that the garbage collectors can easily find the point of the garbage pick-up location. So the old sys-tem was developed into a Garbage Bank Application using GPS as a Web-site based waste collection and reporting system. With the marking of locations and transportation of waste, it is hoped that there will be active communication between the community and cleaners so that piles of garbage at points that were previously difficult to reach can be handled more quickly. Minimizing the accumulation of waste in the homes of residents who are customers of the Mozaik Waste Bank to create a beautiful, clean and waste-free environment.
