Abstract

This study was conducted with the aim of summarizing papers related to the distribution of the Dolphin Spinner (Stenella longirostris) in the Indian Ocean waters that had been discovered previously. The focus of the papers is to examine the distribution of S. longirostris with survey method data collection techniques. The existence of S. longirostris in the Indian Ocean waters is characterized by low levels of predation. The appearance of S. longirostris in Indian Ocean waters is located around the shore which is rich food sources at a depth of 0 - 250m. The data obtained shows in which years the distribution points in the Indian Ocean. The results obtained indicate that S. longirostris appears in the Indian Ocean almost every year.

Abstract

The use of e-commerce as a medium for online goods and service transactions has increased every year, including shopping. In its application, the quality of the application, product innovation, and product popularity is of concern to various parties. This study aims to analyze the correlation between application quality, product innovation, and popularity influencing the satisfaction and repurchase intentions of Shopee consumers in Indonesia. Quantitative research with a statistical approach was used in this study. Primary data came from Indonesia, where 314 people filled out questionnaires sent through google forms. The data was taken using non-probability sampling, and the data analysts used structural equations models with AMOS. The results showed that the satisfaction and repurchase intentions of shopping consumers in Indonesia were influenced by product quality (p = 0.000) and popular products (p = 0.000) but not influenced by product innovation (p = 0.071). Consumer satisfaction directly affects repurchase intentions of Shopee consumers in Indonesia. Hence, shopping service providers need to improve the quality and popularity of their products and support them with new ideas to make customers happier and more likely to buy again.

Abstract

The inventory recording system manually has various obstacles and weaknesses, so it requires processing inventory data with a website-based information system. The Badan Kependudukan dan Keluarga Berencana Nasional (BKKBN) is an Indonesian Non-Departmental Government Institution in charge of carrying out government duties in the field of family planning and prosperous families throughout Indonesia. One of the BKKBN programs is to socialize and distribute contraceptives for Indonesian family planning. Contraceptive devices from the center will then be circulated per sub-district in Langkat Regency. In distributing contraceptives in Langkat district, based on reports from each sub-district in Langkat district. User data and demand for each sub-district are still not evenly distributed so that an application program is needed, namely the design of stockpiles of contraceptives in the use of the family planning program which has problems, because there are often orders for contraception for supplies that are not in accordance with the conditions in the field so that contraception accumulates and is not divided into groups. every district. Inventory data processing at the Langkat Regency BKKBN Office is still manual with recording and processing data using a report book, a website-based Information System is needed. The information system that is designed based on the website can make it easier for users, namely admins and leaders to input data, obtain reports with an internet connection that can be accessed anywhere and anytime. Information system built using PHP programming language with MySQL database. The purpose of this research is to build a system to help BKKBN Langkat.

Abstract

The organization runs a recruitment procedure to maintain the caliber of its workforce. The success or failure of a company's operations is largely determined by the success of its recruitment efforts or the acceptance of a big offer. In practice, the recruiting process frequently does not employ a selection system with predetermined evaluation criteria and an objective evaluation of each applicant. Therefore, this study applies decision-making approaches to the recruitment selection process by calculating the final alternative value using the Rank Order Centroid(ROC) method. The ROC technique can score and ascribe factors depending on the order of importance, resulting in more objective decision outcomes. The three best alternative employees that passed the selection were derived from the final computation of the alternative ranking based on five assessment factors.

Democracy of party in Indonesia five years have passed. Representatives of the people and the president - the vice president directly elected through the electoral process held by the General Election Commission (KPU). Many records were held by the Commission in general sorting this time, including decreasing the number 'white group' (abstentions/non voters) or numbers do not choose. One interesting phenomenon non voters presence in regions of the country is the phenomenon of non voters in Bogor, West Java. The focus of this research is to understand and explain the motive of the district community. Bogor in five districts choose non voters on the 2014 Pileg and explain the meaning of the legislative elections for non voters. By George Herbert Mead's symbolic interactionism be significant in this study, where views on individual behavior can be understood and explained through the frame of mind, self and society a vote. In addition, a review of literature on the concept of political communication is also a big impact as the scope research. Arguments regarding political participation as the substance of a democracy system also have the relevance in understanding the phenomenon of non voters. This research is within the constructivist paradigm, using descriptive qualitative approach and the case study method for the five districts (the district Cibinong, Citeurep, Bojong Gede, Gunung Puteri, and Cileungsi) as the representation of non voters to understand the motives and meaning of the legislative elections. This study had found that distrust of society becomes the motive non voters.
