Abstract

Penderita asma menghembuskan gas sisa pernapasan yang mengandung berbagai macam gas dan senyawa, seperti gas nitrogen, gas karbon dioksida, senyawa aldehida, dan masih banyak lagi. Keberadaan gas dan senyawa dapat dijadikan sebagai biomarker dalam tahap preliminary study terkait teknologi electric nose (e-nose). Di sisi lain, pengembangan teknologi e-nose untuk identifikasi konsentrasi senyawa aldehida pada udara pernapasan secara umum dan pada asma secara khusus belum banyak dilakukan. Sejalan dengan hal tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan teknologi e-nose berbasis sensor MS-1100 guna menganalisis konsentrasi gas senyawa aldehida (formaldehida) yang terkandung di dalam hembusan nafas manusia, secara khusus pada penderita asma dan orang sehat. Penelitian ini menggunakan e-nose berbasis sensor MS-1100. Sensor tersebut dihubungkan dengan sebuah mikrokontroller dan analog to digital converter yang memiliki resolusi sebesar 10 bit pada pin analog. E-nose dikalibrasi menggunakan udara terfilter di dalam chamber dan dikarakterisasi dengan beberapa varian gas (formaldehida, karbon monoksida, hidrogen sulfida, dan etanol). Setelah dikalibrasi, pengujian sampel nafas manusia dilakukan dengan melibatkan sampel 20 penderita asma dan 20 orang sehat. Selanjutnya, dilakukan uji Student’s t-test untuk melihat perbedaan konsentrasi gas antara penderita asma dengan orang sehat. Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa e-nose terkalibrasi dan memiliki selektivitas dan sensitivitas tertinggi pada senyawa aldehida (formaldehida) dengan tingkat 0,96 Volt/ppm formaldehida dibandingkan pendeteksian ketiga gas lainnya. Terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan pada konsentrasi senyawa aldehida antar penderita asma sebesar (1,15-1,30 ppm) dan orang sehat berkisar antara (0,17-0,89 ppm) dengan nilai (p < 0,05). Tingkat akurasi e-nose dalam mendeteksi senyawa aldehida pada hembusan nafas manusia mencapai ~90%. Hasil tersebut menyimpulkan bahwa E-nose berbasis sensor MS-1100 dapat digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi konsentrasi aldehida pada pernapasan penderita asma dengan orang sehat secara akurat. E-nose ini dapat digunakan sebagai analisator biomarker senyawa aldehida non-invasif penderita asma dan orang non-asma.

Abstract

This research aims to develop an Interactive Physics E-Multimedia based on STEM Education to enhance students' scientific literacy and 21st-century skills, including communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. The study follows a Research and Development (R&D) method with three stages: analysis and exploration, design and construction, as well as evaluation and reflection. The product trials were conducted with 11th-grade students at SMA Negeri 1 Lhokseumawe. The findings reveal that the use of interactive E-multimedia is effective in improving students' understanding, with an average post-test score of 80.4 compared to a pre-test score of only 35.2. Expert validation indicates that the product is suitable for use, with an average score of 85 for content, 82.85 for construction, and 80 for design. The product's practicality was also rated highly by both students and teachers, with an average score of 4.09 out of 5. Additionally, students showed strong interest in the interactive and easily accessible digital learning media. Thus, the STEM-based interactive physics E-multimedia is effective in enhancing scientific literacy and 21st-century skills, making it a valuable tool for supporting self-directed learning

Abstract

Teacher does not use IMTAQ teaching aids yet. It is not integrated into learning. The teacher would like asses on cognitive aspects rather than the affactive or moral aspec so that attitudes of the students continue to decline. The research is to produce IMTAQ Teaching Aids in form of syllabus, lesson plans, modules, materials and worksheets for reproduction system intended for Madrasah Aliyah students in learning Biology. The observation was very effective categorized. Abstract

This research was motivated by students' low understanding of alternating current concepts, with 68% of students experiencing difficulties and an average daily test score of only 65, below the minimum completion criteria of 75. The study aimed to develop and test the validity of a vertical axis windmill learning media in enhancing students' understanding of alternating current concepts at MA Darul Ulum Palangka Raya. The Research and Development (R&D) method with a 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) was used in media development, with validation conducted by media experts using assessment instruments for appearance and attractiveness aspects. Data analysis employed percentage techniques to determine media feasibility levels. Results showed satisfactory validity levels, with appearance aspects reaching 87.5% (highly valid) and attractiveness aspects at 75.0% (valid). This learning media proved suitable for physics education, featuring the ability to demonstrate alternating current generation principles practically and interactively through a vertical axis windmill system equipped with mini generators and digital oscilloscopes.

Abstract

Pengelolaan sumber daya alam dan lingkungan di Provinsi Nusa Tenggara Barat (NTB) menghadapi tantangan besar, seperti deforestasi, penurunan kualitas tanah, serta degradasi ekosistem. Salah satu pendekatan yang dianggap efektif untuk mengatasi permasalahan ini adalah penerapan kearifan lokal (local wisdom) dalam kebijakan pengelolaan sumber daya alam. Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meninjau literatur yang membahas peran dan potensi kearifan lokal dalam mendukung pengelolaan sumber daya alam dan lingkungan di NTB. Metode yang digunakan adalah kajian pustaka yang mencakup berbagai penelitian dan dokumen kebijakan yang relevan. Hasil tinjauan menunjukkan bahwa kearifan lokal, seperti sistem "awig-awig" dalam pengelolaan hutan dan praktik "lombong" pada pertanian tadah hujan, memiliki kontribusi signifikan dalam menjaga keseimbangan ekologi dan keberlanjutan sumber daya alam. Selain itu, integrasi nilai-nilai tradisional ini ke dalam kebijakan formal juga mampu meningkatkan partisipasi masyarakat dalam upaya konservasi. Namun, tantangan seperti modernisasi, lemahnya penegakan hukum adat, serta perbedaan pendekatan kebijakan nasional masih menjadi hambatan utama dalam implementasinya. Kesimpulannya, optimalisasi kearifan lokal melalui kolaborasi antara pemerintah, masyarakat adat, dan akademisi sangat penting untuk menciptakan kebijakan pengelolaan lingkungan yang berkelanjutan dan relevan dengan konteks sosial-ekologis di NTB.

Abstract

Abstract:  West Java province was in a subduction zone and fault zone (slip fault), which caused earthquakes. Therefore, it was necessary to research estimates of maximum ground acceleration in West Java to mitigate earthquake disasters. This research also aimed to determine the value of ground acceleration and earthquake intensity and to determine the distribution map using the McGuire method and the Lin & Lee method. The data used were earthquake data for 1950-2023 with a magnitude > 5 SR. From processing this data, the maximum ground acceleration value in West Java ranged between 10.14722-195.3540 gal, and the maximum intensity value was IV-VI MMI using the Mc Guire method. Meanwhile, for the Lin & Lee method, it ranged between 6.6512 to 49.24599 gal. Of the two methods, the largest maximum ground acceleration value was located in Cianjur Regency, which was due to its proximity to the Cimandiri fault and the geological conditions in the area.

Abstract

A study has been conducted on the effect of Focus Film Distance (FFD) variation on patient absorbed dose during thorax examination at the Radiology Installation of Sanjiwani Hospital, Gianyar. This study aims to determine the effect of FFD variation and the suitability of the radiation dose received by patients whether it is still within the limits of BAPETEN's decision. The X-ray machine used was Siemens Luminos Fusion Roentgen with the FFD variation method given a distance of 110 cm, 130 cm, and 150 cm in 30 patients. Dose measurements were carried out based on radiation exposure and analyzed according to BAPETEN standards. The results showed that the greater the FFD value, the smaller the absorbed dose received by patients. The highest absorbed dose obtained for FFD 110 cm was 0.3867 mGy, 130 cm was 0.2769 mGy, and 150 cm was 0.2079 mGy below the maximum limit of 0.4 mGy set by BAPETEN, so it is safe for patients. Statistical analysis of one-way t-test showed significant results, with thitung < ttabel. This indicates that FFD variation affects the absorbed dose, and all doses remain within safe limits. Thus, thorax examination at RSUD Sanjiwani Gianyar has met the established safety standards.

Abstract

Research on water quality and strategies for handling seaweed washing waste provides information about management strategies aimed at finding out the quality of water in seaweed cultivation areas as a result of inappropriate handling of seaweed washing waste as well as providing information about management strategies as a recommendation and consideration for local governments. to adopt policies to overcome pollution in the East Sumba seaweed cultivation area. The measurement results show.  The measurement results show that there is contamination of the water quality meters, namely pH and salinity, namely 11 and 35 respectively, while the other parameters are still below the quality standards when compared with the Republic of Indonesia government regulation number 22 of 2021, concerning the quality of marine waters for marine biota. The high pH and salinity parameters of sea water are thought to be due to the seaweed washing process carried out by seaweed farmers in the Woba expanse, where the washing process is carried out directly at the cultivation location so that there is a possibility of seaweed washing waste entering the cultivation area. Researchers suggest carrying out initial treatment to overcome water pollution.

Abstract

The importance of basic electronics to be learned by students majoring in physics education leads to problems faced by students exploring the concept of electronics and using Proteus as a solution to connect the integration between theory and practice. Integration of textbooks in the use of Proteus is highly recommended to achieve optimal learning outcomes. However, lecturer need to design relevant and interesting materials, while increasing motivation to learn. This study aims to conduct an analysis of the needs of developing basic electronics textbooks assisted by Proteus simulations. Educational research with a descriptive type used quantitative and qualitative methods offers a comprehensive understanding. Data collection was carried out using a survey of physics education students at IAIN Palangkaraya, to then be analyzed using the Pearson correlation test. The results of the study indicate that Proteus is prepared as a tool that can improve students' practical skills and understanding of electronic principles, making learning more interactive and effective so that basic electronics e-books assisted by Proteus simulations become a necessity in lectures for physics education students

Abstract

The relativistic energy and wave function for the hyperbolic Manning Rosen potential with Coulomb-type tensor potential in the case of pseudospin symmetry are obtained from solving the Dirac equation using the Romanovski polynomial method. Using the appropriate wave function and variable substitution to reduce the second-order differential equation to a hypergeometric-type equation, the Dirac equation can be solved using Romanovski polynomials. The relativistic energy equation and weight function for Romanovski polynomials are produced by comparing the standard differential and hypergeometric type equations. Relativistic energy can be determined by employing numerical techniques and Matlab software to solve the relativistic energy equation. The weight function yields the relativistic wave function, which is then represented for the lower component of Dirac spin in the form of Romanovski polynomials
