Abstract

This scientific paper analyzes the episode "Why God Didn't Create One Religion" from the YouTube channel Dr. Zakir Naik as a case study of interfaith communication on the YouTube digital platform. This research aims to understand how Islamic views on religious diversity are presented and their impact on the perceptions of interfaith audiences. This episode explains the concept that religious diversity is part of Divine will which gives humans the freedom to choose their spiritual path. The problem raised in this research is how an interfaith dialogue approach can strengthen tolerance, but also faces challenges, especially regarding perceptions of religious superiority. This research uses a descriptive qualitative analysis method, with data collected from episode observations and audience responses through comments on the YouTube digital platform. The research results show that this episode makes a positive contribution to Muslim audiences' understanding of religious pluralism, especially in terms of acceptance of religious diversity as God's will. However, this episode also gave rise to different perceptions in non-Muslim audiences, where some felt that the presentation positioned Islam as a superior religion, thus potentially causing defensive reactions. Therefore, to increase the effectiveness of interfaith communication, this research recommends using more inclusive language, including the perspectives of figures from other religions, and emphasizing universal values such as justice, compassion and peace. The conclusion of this research is that with a more dialogical approach and respect for diversity, similar episodes can be an effective medium for strengthening tolerance and creating more harmonious interfaith understanding.

Abstract

Stunting is a child growth disorder due to unmet nutritional requirements (RDA) starting from the growth period in the foetus until the age of 2 years. Functional food innovation, jelly candy, is an alternative to prevent stunting and supports the effective use of natural ingredients, such as red spinach and celery. The purpose of this study was to analyse the best formula of red spinach and celery as raw materials for jelly candy and its effectiveness for stunting prevention. The research method is experimental jelly candy formula with 3 variations of raw material concentration, namely F1 (10:0.7), F2 (12:0.78), and F3 (14:0.86), and analysing formula variations with several analytical methods, namely vitamin C and iron tests using iodimetric and permanganometric titration methods, moisture content test using gravoimetric method, pH test using pH meter, and organoleptic test. The results of the research analysis showed that the physical and chemical characteristics of the formula met the quality standards of jelly candy. The physical characteristics of each formula showed normal colour and scent, chewy texture, sweet taste, moisture content ≥ 20%, and pH 7. The chemical characteristic showed that the higher the concentration of spinach and celery leaves, the higher the levels of vitamin C and iron content. The vitamin C content F1 = 11; F2 = 18; F3 = 22mg, and iron content F1 = 26; F2 = 34; F3 = 26mg. Based on the results obtained, it is concluded that F2 is the best formula effective formula used to prevent stunting by fulfilling the RDA for pregnant women and toddlers.

Abstract

Legal Efforts of Verzet (resistance) are a form of resistance to the Verzet decision that has been issued by the Panel of Judges at the first instance Court (Religious Court), which is filed by the Defendant . In Verzet cases , unwanted problems usually occur, so the party who feels aggrieved can file a Verzet resistance . The issuance of the Verzet decision is the impact of the Village official or third party who immediately does not submit a release of the Court's summons so that in the process of examining a divorce case at the Religious Court, Verzet Decisions often occur so that this situation becomes a problem that becomes a common enemy for both the party that issued the decision product, namely the Indramayu Religious Court and the community seeking justice. So it is not surprising that the three defendants made resistance efforts (verzet) and even criminal reporting efforts for perpetrators who removed and did not submit the release of the summons to the defendant and even to the plaintiff. The research method used in this study is normative legal research. Qualitative research such as using non-numerical data, such as interviews, observations, and text analysis, to understand the social and cultural phenomena that occur. With the problem of what is the legal basis for the default decision of the Indramayu Religious Court Number 731/Pdt.G/2024/PA.IM. to provide a sense of justice and what legal efforts are made in cases with default decisions against the defendant based on the decision of the religious court Number 731/Pdt.G/2024/PA.IM . This study examines two important aspects in Indonesian civil procedural law related to default decisions. First, a comprehensive review of the default decision process which is a decision that is issued without the presence of the defendant even though he has been properly summoned, including the procedure for a valid summons, examination of the completeness of the lawsuit, the judge's considerations, and the defendant's right to file a default legal remedy. Second, an analysis of the considerations of the Panel of Judges in deciding the case of objection to the default decision in the case of divorce lawsuit Number: 731/Pdt.G/2024/PA.IM, with an emphasis on formal and material aspects, including the validity of the summons procedure, the absence of the defendant, the validity of the submission of the default, and the substance of the objection filed by the defendant. This study aims to analyze the suitability between the theory of civil procedural law and judicial practice in the specific context of divorce lawsuit cases in the Religious Court.

Abstract

This research is to know and understand the performance of local policies on the prohibition of alcoholic beverages in Indramayu Regency, especially in Balongan District. The problem is that the implementation of the policy on the prohibition of alcoholic beverages is still not fully effective. This research uses descriptive research methods with a case study approach. The results of research based on the type of policy evaluation criteria include: Effectiveness, Efficiency, Adequacy, Equity, Responsiveness, and Accuracy show that the six criteria are generally quite good, but still need to be improved in quantity and quality. In addition, there are still obstacles in the field in achieving the effectiveness of policy performance, including social conditions that are not fully supportive, lack of public support from a group of program target communities, less than optimal community participation, lack of support from the central government, especially in evaluating local regulations that have been issued by local governments. The limitation of this research is that it was only conducted in Balongan District, Indramayu Regency. In the future, it is necessary to conduct research with the locus of all sub-districts in Indramayu Regency in order to know the effectiveness of policy performance, constraining factors and policy recommendations, so as to achieve more effective policy goals and objectives.

Abstract

This study discusses the failure of mediation implementation in district courts, aiming to identify the factors behind these failures. The research was motivated by the frequent unsuccessful mediation processes in district courts. Using a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis, the study found that the main cause of mediation failure in district courts is legal culture, which can be divided into external and internal factors. Internally, many mediator judges are indifferent, lack seriousness, and treat mediation merely as a formality in fulfilling their duties. Externally, parties involved often prioritize prestige, ego, and self-esteem, believing it is more honorable to proceed to trial rather than settle through mediation.

Abstract

Bobocabin The Tavia is a glamping accommodation that combines the concept of staying in nature with Internet of Things (IoT) based technology. Using a qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, this study explores how the implementation of Internet of Things systems supports service quality improvement from the perspective of guests and operational staff. Data collection techniques include in-depth interviews, direct observation, and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the six main dimensions of the Internet of Things such as connectivity, interactivity, comfort, security, intelligence, and telepresence contribute significantly to the five dimensions of service quality based on the SERVQUAL model, namely reliability, tangibles, responsiveness, assurance, and empathy. Features such as smart lamps, smart glass, B-pad, and QR code door locks allow guests to independently and in real-time control their cabin environment. However, some technical challenges remain, such as delayed responses from smart lamps and connectivity issues. This study offers practical insights for accommodation providers, particularly in technology-based glamping services, to support digital tourism. Additionally, the findings serve as an academic reference for future research on IoT integration in enhancing service quality in the tourism sector.
