Abstract

Reinforcement is a response to a behavior that can increase the likelihood of the behavior recurring. Reinforcement can be done verbally and nonverbally, with principles, enthusiasm, meaningful and positive responses. The problems found are; Most teachers have not yet how to provide good and correct reinforcement and also do not know the benefits of reinforcement in learning. This research is descriptive research. Based on the data obtained, it can be concluded that the form of reinforcement given by teachers at SMP Bengkalis as a whole is varied, but in the results of observations teachers use verbal reinforcement more often than nonverbal reinforcement. This can be seen in the proportion obtained as much as 83.33%. In addition, reinforcement also has a good influence on students and learning goals. This can be seen from the positive response from students and the increased enthusiasm of students in learning and also seen from the percentage obtained as much as 61.11%. The reinforcement given at SMP Bengkalis has varied and is going well.

Abstract

This study focused on the use of peer teaching technique to improve students’ mastery on present perfect tense. The research method used was a Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research data included the results of the pre-test and post-test regarding the present perfect tense. The data collection techniques used were classroom observation, interviews, pre-test, and post-test. The results of this study showed that the average score of students was 31.2 in pretest, increased from 60.7 in Cycle I to 88.3 in Cycle II. It indicated that the use of peer teaching technique could improve students' understanding in mastering the present perfect tense. This technique can be one of the effective ways for lecturers in teaching tenses especially present perfect tense.

Abstract

The ASEAN-China Free Trade Area (ACFTA) agreement aims to export and import goods with reduced tariffs of up to 0%. Meanwhile, exports and imports can only be carried out by large-scale entrepreneurs. Traders of locally made children's toys are classified as micro, small and medium enterprises and only get the impact of the flood of toys from China due to the ACFTA. The Pekanbaru City Government's obstacles in protecting micro, small and medium scale entrepreneurs in the trade of artificial children's toys in the city against the impact of the ACFTA agreement need special attention. This is due to the government's unpreparedness in responding to ACFTA including unpreparedness in the construction of infrastructure in the form of a market for MSMEs and guidance on how to export and import goods for MSMEs. Constraints also arise from the condition of entrepreneurs who are not open to the world of free markets. There is no unified organization between traders of locally made children's toys to build a joint venture with big entrepreneurs and become producers who are ready to compete with local Chinese products.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Arab saat ini mengalami kemajuan dari segi teknologi. Komputer merupakan alat yang digunakan dalam sains dan telah berkembang pesat di zaman sekarang, tetapi tidak banyak digunakan. Di Madrasah Aliyah Pesantren Teknologi Riau, para guru bahasa Arab telah melakukan segala upaya untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa, antara lain: mereka mengajar bahasa Arab dengan baik, memilih metode pengajaran khusus yang efektif, menggunakan film, gambar dan komputer, serta menggunakan internet dan sebagainya. Oleh karena itu, siswa harus lebih pandai menyimak bahasa Arab, namun kenyataannya siswa masih belum bisa menyimak dalam bahasa Arab dengan baik. Penelitian ini adalah penelitian Eksperimen, dengan cara pengumpulan data observasi dan tes. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa H0 ditolak dan Ha diterima berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan statistik dengan nilai To = 5.36 lebih besar dari Tt pada taraf signifikansi 1% = 2.81 dan taraf signifikansi 5% = 2.07 serta berdasarkan hasil hitung menggunakan SPSS dengan Uji Mann-Whitney yaitu; p-value = 0.0125 ini lebih kecil dari α = 0.05. Dengan kata lain Penerapan Media Software Camtasia dalam pembelajaran bahasa Arab efektif untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menyimak siswa kelas XI MA Pesantren Teknologi Riau sangat efektif.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the function of the gadget, the direction of the use of the gadget, the factors of gadget use, the method used is descriptive qualitative. Research results 1. Gadget function is that most of the gadgets for communication are around 93.33%, while the remaining 6.67% are very varied, such as to add insight, entertainment, lifestyle, business places and some who use gadgets for things. which is a threat to him. 2. Factors that influence the development of early adolescents are internal factors (creativity, ability, intelligence, talents and interests), external factors (parenting style, school environment, peers, society, geography). 3. Efforts to direct the positive functions of gadgets, namely a. not allowed to use gadgets at school, b. Can bring gadgets or laptops during IT learning, c. There is supervision and control from parents in using gadgets. 4. The effect of the use of gadgets is that there is no significant effect on the development of adolescents, especially students of grade 1 SMPN 2 Bengkalis with a correlation value of 0.46%, which means that there is no effect of gadgets on the development of adolescents, especially in terms of religious, secondary school, behavior and attitudes. However, gadgets still affect early adolescents, gadgets are used to communicate. while the development of adolescents, especially the development of religious, secondary sec, behavior and attitudes are influenced by parents, school and friends.

Abstract

Human resources have a close relationship with growth. The economy will improve when it has quality resources. Given the close relationship, the need for human resources must be adjusted to economic demands. The existence of the demands implies a workforce that is relevant to the world of work and meets the standards that have been set. This article aims to describe the concept of the need for human resources and economic doctrine from the point of view of the concept of HR, identification of the value of human resources, supply and demand for labor and labor characteristics, HR development efforts. The method used is qualitative with the type of library research. The conclusion of this article shows that in order for quality human resources, there must be developed according to the times, especially now that we are entering a new era known as the industrial revolution 4.0 where technology begins to dominate. The process of developing human resources can be done through education. Therefore, so that educational products can answer the challenges of changes that occur, it is necessary to redesign the educational system.

Abstract

Al-Qur'an through its verses invites people to think about various kinds of signs of Allah's power in various ways, including a scientific approach. This is in line with the demands of high school learning which are contained in the 2013 curriculum. However, it needs to be realized that this creates a problematic process, especially for Islamic Religious Education teachers when teaching Aqedah material. This problem can be seen from the readiness of the teacher to use lesson plans, methods, student assignments, and material and module design. Based on this indicator, the conclusion is drawn that Islamic Religious Education teachers are still less able to teach Aqedah material scientifically/ scientifically at Senior High Schools. Responding to this problem, the researchers on the library research method to create a scientific/ scientific model of Aqedah material combination in Islamic Religious Education learning which is packaged in the title "Aqedah Learning Model Based on Scientific for Senior High School”.

Abstract

Education 4.0 is a form of education that integrates cyber technology both physically and not into learning or in other words as a phenomenon of digital penetration in the educational world. This model education is present to respond to the needs of the fourth industrial revolution where people and machines are aligned to get solutions. Solve problems and of course discover the possibilities of new innovations. The presence of this technology becomes an alternative model of learning and utilization. E-learning becomes a formal and informal learning solution through Cisco Webex applications making learning without space and time limits. Through e-learning, access to various learning resources, be it content or human. E-learning provides an opportunity for students to take control of their success. Webex tools for meeting online. This tool is a tool issued by CISCO, where Webex is currently the most popular media and widely used by people ranging from small, medium to large companies to conduct regular meetings between employees online. Therefore, the use of webex applications in a learning process as e-learning is reliable for every educator in maximizing and achieving learning goals.

Abstract

The background of this research is that the teacher as a professional educator is not enough to only master the knowledge that supports it, it is also agreed to be demanded to understand the students. Because teachers are needed who are inspiring, creative, able to educate, provide a good attitude, and understand students' mentality. The problems with this research are teachers’ creativity through the discovery learning model and implementation of the 2013 curriculum in SMP Negeri 3 Bantan. This research method is descriptive quantitative. Quantitative data were obtained at 72,59%. This value is qualitatively based on the creativity of teachers in implementing the 2013 curriculum through the learning model of discovery in English subjects in SMP Negeri 3 Bantan which is categorized as sufficient, this is related to that number in the range of grades of 56% - 75% according to the standards used in this study. The implementation of the 2013 curriculum at SMP Negeri 3 Bantan has begun from the 2016/2017 school year. Implementation of the 2013 curriculum is also supported by several factors, namely teacher readiness, facilities and infrastructure, and input from students. The school also provides standards for teachers to implement 5M in every teaching and learning process. The 5M (mendukung, menanya, menganalisis, mencoba, and mengkomunikasikan) is supporting, asking, analyzing, trying, and communicating.

Abstract

This article aims to determine the role of supervisors in implementing managerial supervision and the factors that lead to the low performance of school administrative staff at State Junior High School 5 Bantan. This type of research is descriptive qualitative with the subjects of this study are the supervisor, principal, and head of school administration. All data were collected through observation and interviews. The main informants are school supervisors as well as additional informants for school principals and school administration staff. Based on the description of research data, it is known that the role of school supervisors in implementing managerial supervision is quite good, but its implementation is still not maximal in providing direct guidance to administrative staff. Lack of direct coaching by school supervisors, and lack of cooperation between school supervisors and school principals, as well as a lack of professionalism in the performance of administrative staff, are the causes of the low performance of administrative personnel.
