KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

This research is motivated by success of embroidery skills training program which was marked by the success of the embroidery training participants at the UPTD Social Institution for Youth Development in Padang Pnajang City who were absorbed in the world of work market. This is allegedly due to the management of the implementation of the training program. This study aims to describe the management of the embroidery skills program in terms of planning, evaluation and implementation. It is type research a quantitative descriptive research. The subjects of this study were embroidery training participants at the UPTD Center for Community Development in Padang Panjang City. The samples taken were 50 training participants. The collection data technique used by researchers is a questionnaire. Data collection instrument used by researchers is a questionnaire. The data analysis technique uses the percentage formula. The results of the research show that the management of embroidery skills Training Program at the UPTD Social Institution for Bina Adolescents in Padang Panjang City, from a planning perspective, was categorized as a planned program according to needs. Second, in terms of implementation, the material provided is categorized as needed. Third, in terms of evaluation, it is categorized as training participants who are able to understand the theory and practice provided well.Keywords: Program management, training institusion

Abstract

TOEFL sebagai tes Bahasa inggris yang diperuntukkan untuk mengukur kemampuan seseorang dalam bahasa Inggris, terutama bagi mereka yang bukan penutur asli bahasa Inggris mendorong pelajar untuk belajar lebih jauh salah satunya adalah dengan melakukan pembeljaran mandiri. Self-directed ataupun pembelajaran mandiri adalah proses pembelajaran di mana individu mengambil inisiatif untuk merencanakan, melaksanakan, dan mengevaluasi pembelajaran mereka sendiri. Penenlitian ini dilakasanakan secara quantitative dan kualitatif. Secara kuantitaif dilakukan dengan memberikan Angket kepada para pelajar yang akan mengikuti test TOEFL sebanyak 30 orang dan sedang mengikuti kelas pelatihan TOEFL. Secara kualitatif adalah dengan mengadakan  wawancara terhadap 6 orang partisipan yang diambil dari 3 pelajar dengan motivasi tinggi dan 3 orang pelajar dengan motivasi rendah. Data wawancara dianalisis menggunakan Analisis Tematik (Maguire & Delahunt, 2017) yang dilakukan melalui anotasi pada setiap transkrip wawancara dengan tema-tema potensial. Dari hasil angket dan wawancara yang diberikan kepada para siswa dapat disimpulkan bahwa pelajar yang memiliki motivasi tinggi cenderung akan melakukan pembelajaran secara mandiri daripada siswa dengan motivasi rendah. Hal ini dikarenakan siswa dengan motivasi tinggi biasanya telah menetapkan tujuan dan target yang akan dicapai sehingga mereka terkadang tidak merasa puas dengan apa yang hanya mereka dapatkan dari kelas pelatihan TOEFL.

Abstract

The use of field schools is considered the best approach to accelerate the empowerment stages as well as the process of understanding knowledge and acquiring skills through joint activities in the community directly. This research aims to obtain information about the principles of andragogy in empowering the community to meet the educational needs of Children with Special Needs through the Field School Approach. This research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. Data collection in this research was carried out through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Data analysis techniques in this research include data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions. Triangulation is used to explain the validity of data by using source triangulation and technical triangulation. The results of this research obtained data that the principles of andragogy applied to Field School activities can create community empowerment. Key words : andragogy, community empowerment, ABK education, field schools

Abstract

This research was motivated by the low motivation of students taking part in extracurricular scout activities at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan, because many students violated the rules for completing scout attributes. This research aims to (1) see a picture of parental support for students who are core members of the scout extracurricular (2) see a picture of the motivation of students taking part in scout extracurriculars and (3) find out the relationship between parental support and students' motivation for taking part in scout extracurriculars at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan This research uses a correlational quantitative approach. The population of this research is students who are members of the scout extracurricular core at SMAN 1 Koto The sampling technique in this research was carried out using a stratified random sampling technique. Data collection techniques through questionnaires to research respondents, data analysis techniques using percentages to find correlations using the product moment formula.The research results show that (1) Parental support for students who are members of the scout extracurricular core is still relatively low. (2) Students' motivation to take part in scouting extracurriculars at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan is still relatively low. (3) There is a significant relationship between parental support and students' motivation to take part in scouting extracurriculars at SMAN 1 Koto XI Tarusan. It is recommended for parents to increase good support, and for other researchers to be able to research other variables that can influence student motivation.Keywords : Support, Motivation

Abstract

One of the non-formal education programs is community empowerment, where in this program we can carry out various activities, such as PKBM Anarvani which carries out community empowerment through sewing training. In organizing this program, one of the important points is identification and planning, but there is also a main point that must also be of concern to us, namely the follow-up carried out after the training, which if we pay careful attention to this and carry it out will really help the community. This article discusses this matter, and the research used is descriptive and documents and literature studies. The findings in this article are that the follow-up provided by PKBM Anarvani is to carry out competency tests and regular mentoring and supervision.

Abstract

The cultural tradition of "dikili" is a culture of local wisdom of the Gorontalo tribe that has been carried out by the people of Gorontalo for generations in commemoration of the Birthday of the Prophet Muhammad SAW. However, today the existence of this culture is less attractive to the public to learn it. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to provide an overview of the interest analysis in question while trying to provide several scientific solutions.The method used in this study is descriptive with a qualitative approach. Research techniques are interview, observation, and document study techniques.The results showed that the community still has a considerable interest in organizing dikili culture. Similarly, officers are still represented to have a high enough interest to carry out their duties. However, public interest in learning to be represented and become officers is still low.

Abstract

The idea behind this study stems from the observed low levels of learning motivation among Package B learners at SPNF SKB Lima Puluh Kota. The primary aims of this research are as follows: (1) to evaluate the level of family emotional support provided to Package B learners at SPNF SKB Lima Puluh Kota, (2) to investigate the extent of learning motivation among Package B learners at SPNF SKB Lima Puluh Kota, and (3) to establish whether a correlation exists between family emotional support and learning motivation among Package B learners at SPNF SKB Lima Puluh Kota. The present study employs a quantitative methodology and utilises a correlational research design. The sample for this study included 44 learners enrolled in Package B at SPNF SKB Lima Puluh Kota. A stratified random selection technique was employed to pick a sample of 30 persons, which accounted for 75% of the population. The data gathering process involved the administration of questionnaires, while data analysis was carried out with the percentage formula and the product moment formula.The findings of this study suggest that there is a low level of family emotional support. The level of learning motivation among learners in Package B is likewise seen to be poor. There exists a notable correlation between familial emotional support and the level of desire for learning, which can be classified as highly substantial. It is advisable for families to augment positive emotional support in order to cultivate excitement and motivation in learners. Additionally, it is recommended that future researchers investigate other variables that were not examined in this study for the sake of further inquiry.Keywords: Family emotional support, learning motivation.

Abstract

This article examines the important role of thought leadership in bridging the gap between business to business (B2B) and business to consumer (B2C) in the context of industrial marketing. By conducting a systematic literature review of 20 related articles, this research identifies key factors such as transformational leadership, knowledge-oriented leadership, ethical leadership, adaptability, collaboration, and innovation as important elements in designing effective leadership strategies. Findings from various studies highlight the need for a holistic and adaptive approach in managing differences between B2B and B2C, and formulate propositions that can form the basis for future research. This article provides important insights for practitioners and academics in understanding how thought leadership can act as an effective link between these two different business models.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh masih banyaknya warga masayarakat diJorong Teluk Embun, Kenagarian Pauh, Lubuk Sikaping yang masih tidak memilikikegiatan. Hal ini ditandai dengan masih banyaknya ibu-ibu yang hanya berdiam diri dirumah. Oleh karena itu maka menurut peneliti sangat cocok untuk diadakannya pemberdayaan masyarakat di Jorong Teluk Embun, Kenagarian Pauh, Lubuk Sikaping. Berdasarkan letak geografis Jorong Teluk Embun, Kenagarian Pauh, Lubuk Sikaping yang berada di tengah-tengah kota lubuk sikaping dimana lahan dalam pekarangan sudah tidak ada lagi, maka dari itu menurut penulis Program Inovasi Teknologi Tepat Guna Vertimina Kultur dalam bentuk pemberdayaan masyarakat. Jenis penelitian ialah penelitian studi literature, dengan teknik penelitian yaitu menggunakan teknik wawancara/ observasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) berdasarkan latar belakang dan letak geografis Jorong Teluk Embun, Kenagarian Pauh, Lubuk Sikaping pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program inovasi teknologi tepat guna vertimina kultur sangat cocok dilaksanakan di Jorong Teluk Embun, Kenagarian Pauh, Lubuk Sikaping. 2) dengan adanya vertimina kultur masyarakat dapat menggunakan teknologi tepat guna yang sesuai dengan kebutuhanmasyarakat.

Abstract

The purpose of study is to ascertain how adult student learning outcomes in Indonesian language classes at PKBM Titian Amanah relate to their readiness for learning. Attention, drive, and the growth of personal preparedness are all components of learning readiness. This study employed a correlational research design and a quantitative methodology. The questionnaire measures the level of learning readiness in terms of attention, motivation and development of individual readiness.Findings of this research indicate the learning readiness of adult students Package C program at PKBM Titian Amanah is in the low category, especially in terms of attention and motivation. This is evident from respondents' propensity to select "disagree" option in the questionnaire. However, research also finds a significant relationship between learning readiness and learning outcomes. Students with a higher level of readiness tend to achieve better learning outcomes. Based on the results of this research, there are several recommendations that can be given. First, PKBM Titian Amanah must provide better facilities to increase adult students' learning readiness. Second, tutors must be more creative in using learning media to increase learning motivation. Additionally, future research could explore the relationship between learning readiness and learning outcomes. Keywords: Learning Readiness, Learning
