KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah was first published in April 2013 in printed and online form published since 30 April 2018 by Department of Non Formal Education, Faculty of Education, Universitas Negeri Padang. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah equipped with ISSN (p): 2354-693X and ISSN (e): 2655-3163, published twice a year in April and October. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah education contains articles from research and/ or analytical-critical in the field non-formal education specifically edult education study, community education, training and development of human resources, counseling, and community development. The spesification purpose are intended to explore, develop and explain the knowladge of history, philosophy, principles, policies, designs, and technologies that are used and developed in non-formal education services. KOLOKIUM: Jurnal Pendidikan Luar Sekolah have a role and participates in efforts to support the preservation of scientific traditions derived from the theoretical study of researchers and the practical experience of education practitioners.

Abstract

The background of this research is the low entrepreneurial behavior of cosmetology training graduates at the Keja Rane Training Institute, which is suspected because the implementation of the training at the Keja Rane Training Institute in Padang City is not good. This study aims to reveal the description of the implementation of the training in the tying training at LPK Rane, the entrepreneurial behavior of graduates of the cosmetology training at LPK Rane, and reveal the relationship between the implementation of the training and the entrepreneurial behavior of training graduates at LPK Rane, Padang City. This study uses a quantitative approach with a correlational type. The population in this study were 32 cosmetology training graduates, while the sample was taken using a simple random sampling technique of 78%, namely 25 people. Data collection techniques using a questionnaire. And the technique used in data analysis is the percentage formula and the spearman rho formula correlation. The results of this study indicate that: 1) the implementation of training in cosmetology training at LPK Rane is still relatively low, 2) entrepreneurial behavior of training graduates is low, 3) there is a significant relationship between training implementation and entrepreneurial behavior of cosmetology training graduates at LPK Rane Padang city.

Abstract

Mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat dan mewujudkan suatu desa yang mandarin ditentukan dari kemampuan serta keberhasilan masyarakat dalam mengelola sumber dayanya. Dalam mewujudkan hal tersebut dipengaruhi oleh berbagai hal salah satunya yaitu kegiatan diklat. Artikel ini untuk mengetahui pentingnya kegiatan diklat berbasis potensi lingkungan dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode studi kepustakaan. Hasil kajian memperlihatkan bahwa pentingnya kegiatan diklat berbasis potensi lingkungan dalam mewujudkan kesejahteraan masyarakat.

Abstract

This article examines the quality assurance model implemented by Community Learning Center (CLC) Al-Madinah in Kediri City. This research uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Research data was collected through observation, interviews and documentation techniques. Research data was analyzed using an interactive analysis model. The research results show that CLC Al-Madinah implements an internal quality assurance model that is participatory, collaborative and sustainable. This internal quality assurance model includes four stages, namely planning, implementation, assessment and improvement. This internal quality assurance model has several advantages and disadvantages that need to be considered and improved by CLC Al-Madinah and other non-formal institutions. This research provides several recommendations for CLC Al-Madinah and other non-formal institutions in improving the quality of educational services. This study also has several limitations that need to be addressed by future research.

Abstract

This research was motivated by investing in the relationship between work motivation and work readiness of participants who took part in sewing training based on the Mobile Training Unit at the Padang Panjang Job Training Center. This research is a quantitative and correlational approach. The population of this study were all sewing training participants in 2023 with a total of 64 participants and they had completed the training from February to April for 6 meetings. Researchers used the Cluster Random Sampling method. With a sample size of 50% of the population. The number of training participants in 2023 will be 64 training participants, while the population that will be taken will be 32 training participants. The data collection tool is a questionnaire, and the data collection technique is a questionnaire. And the techniques used in data analysis are the percentage formula and the Product Moment correlation formula. The research results show that: 1) The work motivation of participants taking part in mobile training unit-based sewing training at the Padang Panjang Job Training Center (BLK) is relatively low, this is shown by the respondents' statements in the research instrument which are dominated by infrequent answers, 2). The work readiness of participants who took part in sewing training based on the Mobile Training Unit at the Padang Panjang Job Training Center (BLK) was categorized as less ready, this can be seen from the statements filled in by respondents in the research instrument which was dominated by rare answers, 3). There is a relationship between work motivation and work readiness of participants taking part in mobile training unit-based sewing training at the Padang Panjang Job Training Center (BLK). because the rxy value: 0.887 > 0.349, and the significance value: 0 < 0.05, which means there is a relationship. The results of data analysis show that there is a significant positive relationship between work motivation and work readiness. Participants who have high work motivation tend to have a better level of work readiness.

Abstract

Employees play an important role in the company, especially in operational processes and activities. The purpose of this study is to be able to test the effectiveness of transformational leadership, compensation, innovative work behavior on employee performance. The location of this research was conducted at CV. Gembira Abadi Jaya. The total population of this study were all employees of CV. Gembira Abadi Jaya which amounted to 43 respondents. In this study, the non-probability sample method and saturated sample were used, with a total sample equivalent to the population as a whole. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used in this research is Structural Equation Modeling with the Partial Least Squares method. The results of this study indicate that transformational leadership has a significant effect, while compensation has no significant effect and innovative work behavior has a significant effect on employee performance.

Abstract

Pemberdayaan masyarakat sangat penting untuk terus ditingkatkan dalam upaya mewujudkan tujuan pembangunan secara berkelanjutan sebagai bagian pengoptimalan potensi masyarakat itu sendiri.  Untuk mewujudkan pemberdayaan tersebut salah satunya dengan melaksanakan program konservasi lingkungan. Metode yang digunakan dalam mini riset ini adalah studi literatur dan analisis konten. Melalui pendekatan ini, informasi akan dikumpulkan dari berbagai sumber seperti jurnal ilmiah, laporan riset, dan publikasi terkait lainnya. Data yang terkumpul akan dianalisis untuk mengidentifikasi strategi dan praktik terbaik dalam pemberdayaan masyarakat melalui program konservasi lingkungan.

Abstract

The background to this research is the low learning outcomes of students studying economics in the package C learning program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar. This is thought to be due to the low emotional intelligence of students studying. This research aims to: 1) describe the description of the emotional intelligence of students studying package C at SKB 1 Tanah Datar, 2) describe the description of the learning outcomes of students studying economics in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar, 3) to determine the relationship between emotional intelligence residents study with the results of studying economics subjects in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar. This research was carried out with a correlational quantitative approach which aims to test the relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes in economics subjects in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar consisting of 39 students. The sampling technique was simple random sampling and 80% were taken. namely 30 people studied and as many as 20% were used as trials, namely 9 people. The data collection method uses a questionnaire with a statement list format as a data collection tool, the data analysis technique uses a percentage formula and to find correlations uses the Rank Order formula. The results of the research illustrate that: 1) the emotional intelligence of students studying in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar is categorized as low, 2) the learning outcomes for economic subjects in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar are categorized as low because many students' grades are below the KKM, and 3) there is a significant relationship between emotional intelligence and learning outcomes in economics subjects in the package C program at SKB 1 Tanah Datar. Keywords: Emotional Intelligence; Learning outcomes

Abstract

This research is motivated by the many problems experienced by members of farmer groups. This is characterized by the still low income from harvests from farmer groups, resulting in their lives being less prosperous. Therefore, according to researchers, it is very suitable for holding community empowerment in Beringin Baru village, Jorong Makmu, Padang Gelugur sub-district in the agricultural sector. Based on the geographical location of Beringin Baru village, Jorong Makmu, Padang Gelugur sub-district which is in a water area where the land for rice fields is still very large, therefore, according to the author, a farmer group program in the form of community empowerment is very suitable to be carried out. The type of research is literature study research, with research techniques using interview/observation techniques. The research results show that 1) There are many problems faced by new banyan farmer groups related to their agriculture. 2) The influence of the existence of farmer groups in Beringin Baru is not very significant in increasing the potential of the farming community, so that the community does not understand and understand the problems they are facing. 3) Based on the problems and influence of the new banyan farmer group, there is a great need for a community empowerment program in the agricultural sector that can boost agricultural development in the new banyan village, both in terms of human resources, natural resources, and the harvests that will be obtained by the farming community.

Abstract

Based on observations and conversations with students who took part in scouting extracurriculars, in this study there were students who lacked enthusiasm and seriousness in participating in these activities. This is thought to be caused by a lack of student motivation in taking part in scouting extracurricular activities at SMP Labschool UNP. So there are concerns that it could affect students' discipline in participating in scout extracurriculars. The purpose of this research is to see a picture of student motivation in taking part in scout extracurriculars, see a picture of student discipline in taking part in scout extracurriculars, as well as the relationship between motivation and student discipline in taking part in scout extracurriculars at SMP Labschool UNP. This research uses correlational methodology as a form of quantitative research. The population is 150 people consisting of classes VII and VIII who are registered as scout members at SMP Labschool UNP. Using a stratified random sampling approach, the research sample consisted of 45 respondents or 30% of the population. Questionnaires were used as a data collection method. Meanwhile, for data analysis, descriptive analysis was used using the percentage formula, and correlational analysis was used using the product moment formula.Based on research conducted at SMP Labschool UNP, it shows that student motivation in taking part in scout extracurriculars is categorized as low, student discipline in taking part in scout extracurriculars is also categorized as low, and there is a significant relationship between motivation and student discipline in taking part in scout extracurriculars at SMP Labschool UNP. It is hoped that the suggestions from the researchers will enable supervisors and school administrators to create a more attractive physical and social environment, create new ideas or ways that are creative and fun so that they can attract the maximum attention of pupils and students so that students are diligent and diligent and enthusiastic about participating in activities. .Keywords: motivation, discipline, scout extracurricular, Nonformal

Abstract

The application of green education as a learning model can provide extensive knowledge and learning experience by understanding the environment around them so that students in the nature school can create positive characters as the next generation in preserving the surrounding nature. The role of educators is also expected to continue to be innovative and creative in creating learning media to increase response and interest in learning and build character at the first age of school. This study aims to find a way to build students' character through the stage learning model. The type of approach used in this research is a qualitative approach with case study methods. The location of this research is Sekolah Alam Pelopor Bandung. The research subjects were the institution's founders, educators, and guardians of students. The data collection techniques used were interviews, observation, and documentation studies. Followed by data analysis techniques using Miles and Huberman's analysis theory. Green education implemented in nature school through a stage learning model can build direct interaction between students and nature or the environment. In this way, it can create an attitude that fosters a love for the surrounding environment.
