Abstract

This research was conducted to overcome the problem of the lack of the role of technology in high schools. Researchers used the method of observation and interviews with stakeholders in schools, as well as using the SDLC design model. In making the school information system, researchers used several programming languages, such as HTML, CSS, PHP, and MySQL as data storage (databases). The main objective of this research is to create a school information system that can assist schools, staff, and teachers in managing student and teacher data. This system is expected to facilitate activities in schools and reduce errors in data management. The school information system created by the researcher includes several features, such as student data management, teacher data management, inputting student grades, class schedules, and tuition payment services that are connected directly to the treasurer. All of these features are designed to make it easier for schools to manage various important data, especially teacher and student data. Researchers also pay attention to aspects of data security and privacy in making school information systems. Therefore, this system is equipped with user authentication and authorization features as well as an automatic data backup system. It is hoped that with a school information system created by researchers, schools can be more effective and efficient in managing teacher and student data, and can optimize business processes in schools. In addition, with the technology applied in schools, it is hoped that it can improve the quality of education in schools and prepare students to face future challenges.

Abstract

Sexual education in early childhood is crucial for the overall well-being of children. This research aims to explore the roles of parents, teachers, and the challenges they face in guiding their children on fundamental aspects of sexual education. The research adopts a qualitative approach, involving in-depth interviews with parents and teachers, as well as classroom observations. Findings reveal that parents and teachers at SDN 1 Jeruk play central roles in imparting information about the body, privacy, and values related to healthy sexual behavior to their children. Parental involvement primarily revolves around open discussions and the use of age-appropriate language. Meanwhile, teachers focus on the foundational material of sexual education in the curriculum and employ suitable teaching methods for first-grade students. However, several challenges are identified, such as parental knowledge limitations and teachers' concerns about parental reactions. This research provides profound insights into the efforts of parents and teachers in delivering sexual education to first-grade students. The implications of these findings can serve as a foundation for the development of more effective and supportive sexual education programs for young children in both school and family environments.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk memperoleh data secara empiris mengenai pengaruh strategi pembelajaran dan pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar teknik listrik dasar otomotif kelas X SMK Teknik Kendaraan Ringan. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah metode eksperimen dengan desain penelitian treatment  by level    2 x 2. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian hipotesis dan pembahasan penelitian, didapat hasil penelitian sebagai berikut: Pertama, hasil belajar Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif pada kelompok yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran project base learning lebih tinggi dari pada kelompok yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori pada siswa kelas X. Kedua, terdapat pengaruh interaksi antara strategi pembelajaran dan pengetahuan awal terhadap hasil belajar Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif siswa kelas X. Ketiga, pada kelompok siswa berpengetahuan awal tinggi, hasil belajar Teknik Listrik Dasar Otomotif lebih tinggi jika menggunakan strategi pembelajaran project base learning dibandingkan dengan yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori. Keempat, pada kelompok siswa berpengetahuan awal rendah, tidak terdapat perbedaan antara yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran project base learning dengan yang menggunakan strategi pembelajaran ekspositori.

Abstract

Literature is the work of human creations to express their experiences through language, both orally and in writing that can cause a sense of beauty and can thrill the readers, besides that literature is also born of a cultural situation, not because of cultural emptiness, literature was born to realize the culture itself in its own way. A collection of short stories "The Fall of Our Surau" by AA. Navis contains ten short stories. This study is useful to find out what plot is used by the writer in a collection of short stories and determine the type of flow and structure of the grooves in each of the short stories. Results of the analysis of a collection of short stories by AA. Navis, it can be concluded that the collection of short stories by AA. Navis has four fronts, consisting of Pride Children, Advice, Helm Caps and Birth awaits. Whereas the short story that uses a backward flow consists of the collapse of our Surau, the Coming and Departing, the Final Fraction, the Wind from the Mountain, the Helper and From Time to Time.

Abstract

One real system that requires a mobile web-based simulation application is the implementation of an intelligence test. This is because this intelligence test requires high mobility and accurate information distribution and fast service. So far, IQ testing has always been carried out by other institutions at a high cost and the IQ test results are processed very slowly to determine the IQ test results. Making a mobile web-based test simulation application system implemented on Android and oriented with a simple and lightweight concept will certainly make users more comfortable and easier to use. The benefit of this application is that users can carry out intelligence test simulations through different device platforms and operating systems. Users can immediately see the test results at that time too. The implementation of the IQ test can be done at any time from various places as long as it has an android application and is connected to an internet network. This application was developed using the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) method which has development stages covering system analysis, system design, system implementation, and system testing. System analysis is carried out to determine data, information, hardware, and software needs. System design includes model design, database design, and interface design to facilitate implementation. The system is implemented based on the mobile web with HTML, JavaScript, Atom, and Ionic Framework programming languages. The web server uses NodeJs. System testing is done in two ways, namely black box testing and Alpha testing. Based on the results of black box testing and Alpha testing, the developed application meets predetermined specifications, can run properly, is very easy to use, has an attractive appearance, is complete, and has very fast access.

Abstract

In the 21st century, a generation is needed that has the ability to be critical of scientific phenomena around them so that they are able to analyze, make decisions, and solve problems related to issues in their daily lives. Therefore, it is important for every citizen to have good scientific literacy, while the PISA results for Indonesian students' scientific literacy are still below the international average score. This research presents the results of a more comprehensive analysis of students' scientific literacy to identify students' strengths and weaknesses in each relationship between content, context and scientific literacy competency indicators. This type of research is descriptive quantitative research with data collection techniques through tests and data processing using the Rasch Analysis Model (RAM) assisted by Winstep software. From the Winstep output, it is known that the reliability of the instrument expressed in Cronbach's alpha is 0.64. This research was conducted on a sample of 50 elementary school students in Pacitan Regency. Based on the research results, it is known that question items that are difficult for students to work on are items that contain epistemic knowledge content with a local-national context and competence in interpreting data and evidence scientifically. Meanwhile, easy scientific literacy items contain factual knowledge content with personal context and competence in explaining phenomena scientifically. In the test results for eight scientific literacy indicators, it was found that male students' scientific literacy was higher than female students' scientific literacy indicators.

Abstract

Di era abad ke 21 Information and Communication Technology (ICT) menjadi bagian yang tak lepas dari kehidupan kita,  terutama  institusi  pendidikan.  Semua, termasuk perpustakaan  berlomba-lomba untuk  mengintegrasikan ICT guna membangun dan memberdayakan civitas akademiknya berbasis pengetahuan untuk bisa bersaing dalam eraglobal. Pada makalah ini akan dipaparkan mengenai pengembangan digital library yang ditujukan untuk perpustakaan Smk Yasmida Ambarawa .Teknologi dan komunikasi tak bisa terlepaskan dari kehidupan kita terutama dalam hal pendidikan.Termasuk didalamnya adalah perpustakaan, dimana perpustakaan itu sendiri berusaha untuk mengintegrasikan Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi untuk membangun dan memberdayakan civitas akademiknya berbasis internet. Oleh karena itu SMK Yasmida Ambarawa mengembangkan digital library yang nantinya akan bermanfaat untuk meningkatkan pelayanan dengan kecepatan, kemudahan dan kualitas yang baik serta meningkatkan efektifitas dan efisien petugas perpustakaan.sehingga nantinya proses belajar mengajar dapat berjalan dengan lancar. Pendekatan yang akan digunakan adalah visualisasi berbasi internet. Digital library ini akan dibangun menggunakan Visual Studio.Net danmenggunakan basis data My SQL. Dimana di dalam Digital library ini nantinya pengguna di sediakan berbagai macam judul buku, civitas, makalah ,laporan penelitian.pembangunan digital library ini lebih di fokuskan untuk lingkup SMK Yasmida tapisecara umum orang lain dapat mengakses aplikasi digital library ini.

Abstract

This research was conducted with the aim to: (1) improve the process and student learning outcomes using skimming techniques in reading comprehension skills in fifth grade students of MI Al-khairiyah Sinar Banten Talangpadang, (2) describe student learning outcomes using skimming techniques in reading comprehension skills in Va MI Al-khairiyah Sinar Banten students in Talangpadang. This type of research is a quantitative study with a questionnaire, in the form of documentation and interviews to collect data while to determine the character of students using observation. The subjects of this study were 30 Va students. The data analysis technique used is inferential statistics. Based on data analysis, it was concluded that the learning outcomes (variable Y2) of students using skimming techniques (variable X) in reading comprehension skills (variable Y1) in Va MI Al-khairiyah Sinar Banten Talangpadang class students increased with a value of 0.765. Then the contribution becomes 76.5% based on the acquisition of R Square. This can be seen through the analysis of student learning outcomes through tests and questionnaires based on the significance value of 0,000 0.05, also based on the value of t_count2.411 and3.449 t_tabel2.125 (db = 30) significance level of 5%, so t_count t_table . Then Ha is accepted and H0 is rejected.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the role of madrasah principals in improving teacher performance. The research uses a field research approach (field research). The results of the study showed that the head of the madrasah always carried out direct supervision or supervision by going around the class to see the teacher. In addition to supervising the teaching of the principal, the madrasah principal also plays a role in the process of monitoring or evaluating the work of all staff in the madrasa, including teachers, the madrasah principal tries to influence teachers and employees to inspire enthusiasm for work and commitment to task goals. The conclusion of this study is that the principal plays an active role in efforts to improve the work ethic of teachers, namely by establishing harmonious relationships with fellow teachers (teachers), providing welfare to adequate teachers, controlling and evaluating teachers in carrying out their duties so that they can change their mindset. in building teacher character, so that teachers participate in building madrasas to be at the forefront in accordance with their vision and mission.

Abstract

Technological Pedagogical Content Knowledge (TPACK) is considered an effective theoretical framework for understanding teachers' knowledge in integrating technology. The use of technology-based learning media really helps students to increase their interest in learning and student learning outcomes. This research aims to describe the TPACK possessed by teachers at nggulsari II elementary school, Surakarta. The method used in this research is a qualitative method with a case study research design. The subjects in this research were class III, IV, V teachers. Data collection was obtained through interviews, observation and documentation. The validity of the data in research uses triangulation techniques. The data analysis techniques used are: 1) data collection; 2) reduction; 3) presentation; and 4) drawing conclusions. The results of this research contain seven components and each has its own findings, these components are: (PK) teachers teach using a scientific approach, problem based learning model and discussion and question and answer methods. (CK) the teacher has been able to master the material in each subject taught. (TK) teachers use technology such as LCDs, laptops, student worksheets on Google Drive, YouTube and Power Point when learning in class. (PCK) teachers prepare lesson plans before teaching and teach according to existing KD. (TCK) teachers use learning media such as YouTube and Power Point to explain theories in learning. (TPK) assessment carried out by the teacher through assignments and quiz questions displayed in front of the class using a projector. (TPACK) most teachers do not know this term but in learning it has been implemented. The teacher already has the seven components of TPACK when teaching in class. It's just that teachers at Tunggulsari II Elementary School, Surakarta, don't know more about the meaning of TPACK.
