Abstract

Penggalaman Village, West Martapura, Banjar Regency, South Kalimantan is one of the papuyu fisheries development areas. The location of the village is very strategic, located along the irrigation flow of Penggalaman Village and has very sufficient potential in the fisheries business for fish farmers. Villagers have carried out papuyu fish seed cultivation activities that have ponds for artificial fertilization of papuyu fish, papuyu fish egg hatching ponds and enlargement ponds but have not implemented lighting in the process of fish farming activities. This is because it requires a lot of electrical energy and costs a lot for these activities. The purpose of this service activity is to introduce and apply solar-based electrical energy sources for fish farmers in improving fisheries businesses as an alternative to electrical energy. This tool is equipped with yellow and white lumens, controller, battery, aerator and solar panel and automatic control system. The application of solar-based lumens will provide a technological solution to the lighting of papuyu fingerlings and enlargement ponds for papuyu fish farmers in Penggalaman Village. Yellow and white lumens are able to provide lighting and reduce predator attacks at night. The results of the application of this technology are the fulfillment of electrical energy by applying solar-based lumens to papuyu fish nurseries and increasing the lighting of fish nurseries and papuyu fish enlargement by approximately 80%, and reducing night predator attacks by 70%.

Abstract

Sleman Local Government Hospital (RSUD) as a Regional Public Service Agency (BLUD) has a function to provide health services to the community without prioritizing profit maximization. RSUD Sleman is required to be able to provide high quality health services at the prices that are affordable to the community. For this reason, RSUD Sleman must be able to optimize revenue and carry out cost efficiency. In terms of optimizing revenue, RSUD Sleman needs to make changes to the service charges, while in terms of cost efficiency, RSUD Sleman needs to improve management of drug supplies and consumable medical materials. Currently, drug supply management at RSUD Sleman still has several weaknesses. These weaknesses for example that drug procurement is based on the request of each doctor (doctor-centric), some inventory recording is still done manually, and there is no integrated management information system for drug supplies and consumable medical materials. Apart from that, there is limited capacity in the medicine warehouse. This community development program was carried out to help RSUD Sleman to improve the management of drug supplies and consumable medical materials by improving the management of medical supplies with a management-centric approach. The methods used in this service are focus group discussions (FGD), interviews, observation, and document analysis. The output of this program is a study of the management of drug supplies and consumable medical materials at RSUD Sleman which contains problem analysis and recommendations for improvement.

Abstract

The RANAS model (Risk, Attitudes, Norms, Abilities, and Self-Regulation) is an easy-to-use method model for measuring behavioral elements, evaluating influences on behavior, creating customized plans to change behaviour, and measuring its effectiveness. Behavioral change strategies that target and modify behavioral factors in a given population can be designed and evaluated using a systematic behavior change approach. The aim of this brief review is to summarize the preliminary strategies in teaching children to wash hands and suggest strategies for teaching them to wash their hands. The core objective of this activity at SDN Klampis Ngasem I is fourth grade students consisting of four classes, namely 4A, 4B, 4C, and 4D. The RANAS model takes several months, but it is worth using. This method produces behavioral change strategies that (1) match the population, (2) effectively change behavior in the local environment, and (3) provide the basis for additional interventions. The behavior has not only been effectively modified, but also important ideas have been acquired to drive the local government for future projects. In the RANAS model there are three consequences considered: behavior, intention, and habit. Both behavior that is deemed appropriate and behaviour that is declared competitive is called "behavior".

Abstract

In the neighborhood of Permata Cimanggis Housing, household waste has become a troublesome problem due to the unavailability of land for waste disposal. The increasing volume of waste has led to efforts to reduce final waste through waste bank activities. This activity succeeded in reducing the final waste by 20 to 40%. However, another issue emerged at the household level, as there was insufficient space to temporarily store the waste before depositing it in the waste bank. This lack of space has reduced the number of waste bank customers, especially during the pandemic, because the presence of waste is considered a nuisance to the residents of the house who are at home every day. As a result, the amount of final waste has increased again. This has made it difficult for the RT/RW to manage the waste. Efforts need to be made to reduce waste and encourage people to become active waste bank customers. Using an action research approach, the author and team tried to solve the problem. In the first cycle, observations and interviews were conducted with several waste bank customers. From the observations and interviews, the idea to create a simple station to collect waste at the household level was initiated. The second step was to present the idea in a discussion forum with the community. From the discussion process with the waste bank manager, several waste bank members, and ‘RW’ administrators, a new system in the waste bank was finally agreed upon, namely the self-deposit system. In this system, ‘RW’ provides a place to store the waste. The manager provides equipment that allows customers to deposit waste independently without having to wait for the waste bank to open. In this way, it is hoped that the stored waste will not be piled up at home, thus the problem of limited area at home is solved.

The activities take the form of socialization, cooking demonstrations, and practice in making local MPASI biscuits. Online socialization via Zoom for 60 minutes (20 minutes lecture, 40 minutes question and answer discussion). Next, demos and practices were carried out for 6 hours as well as other product modifications for approximately 2 weeks. The average length of work for cadres is more than 2 years, namely (6.8 ± 5.5 years). This activity resulted in more than 90.0% of cadres having knowledge about local MPASI and toddler nutrition. Meanwhile, the attitude of more than 85.0% of cadres is positive, understanding the importance of local MPASI and how to provide it.
