Abstract

The government has been converting kerosene to gas since 2007. However, households that use kerosene for cooking purposes are still found in urban areas in Indonesia, even though access to gas is already very easy. This study aims to investigate the factors that influence the demand for kerosene in urban households in Indonesia. Based on the March 2018 Susenas data from BPS, it was found that 15,143 urban households still use kerosene, 80.20 percent of them use kerosene as the main fuel for cooking. Using multiple linear regression, it was found that the price of kerosene and the gender of the head of the household had a negative effect on the intensity of kerosene use in urban households. Meanwhile, income per capita, age of the head of the household, number of household members, and education level of the head of household have a positive effect on the intensity of kerosene use in urban households.

Abstract

This research was conducted by researching the gap between the relationship between e-service quality and customer satisfaction and its effect on repurchase interest. The study was conducted to see whether all variables of electronic service quality (usage, website design, responsiveness, personalization / customization, and assurance) had an effect on the total service quality and customer satisfaction which could lead to repurchase. The analysis technique used is SEM (structural equation modeling) with the number of respondents as many as 197 Lazada customers in the city of Semarang. The results of the criteria for goodness of fit RMSEA = 0.066; NFI & NNFI = 0.96 & 0.94; IFI = 0.92; and RFI = 0.93. These results indicate that the model has a good fit and is feasible to use. Based on the research results, there are four hypotheses that have a positive and significant effect, namely, web design, responsiveness, customization, and customer satisfaction on repeat purchase intention. However, there were two objections that were rejected, namely the use of (ease of use) and assurance (assurance) of repeat purchase intentions. Keywords : e-service quality, customer satisfaction, repurchase intentions, Lazada.

Abstract

Villages in Indonesia, especially in Madura, have the potential to be developed into tourist villages that can become tourist destinations for tourists. For this reason, the role of tourism awareness groups (Pokdarwis) is very important because they are the spearhead that connects villages with potential tourists. Pokdarwis must be able to carry out their functions properly so that revitalization becomes a necessity. Of course, the revitalization that is adapted to the current environmental changes is the use of digitalization in every activity, including communication. Therefore, this study aims to: 1) describe the ability of Pokdarwis in utilizing digital communication technology and 2) describe the profile of Pokdarwis in terms of the various elements that support their performance. By using qualitative descriptive research and data analysis using the Miles and Hubberman model, the results of the study indicate that the ability to utilize Pokdarwis digital communication technology as measured by five aspects of ability that reflects digital literacy is still not optimal. Revitalization by providing training or counseling such as digital branding training makes it possible to realize the development of a superior and resilient tourist village Keywords: Revitalization, Pokdarwis, Tourism Village, Digital Communication Technology
