Abstract

The need for chili in Indonesia is always increasing every year, so it is necessary to take action to increase production by fertilization and using plant regulatory substances. This study aims to examine the effect of giving the best dose of potassium fertilizer and gibberellin concentration for the growth and production of chili plants. The research was conducted from May 2022 to August 2022 at the Screen House, Laboratory of Physiology and Plant Breeding, Laboratory of Ecology and Plant Production, Faculty of Animal Husbandry and Agriculture, Diponegoro University, Semarang. The research design used a 4 x 4 factorial design on the basis of Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 3 replications. The first factor was the difference dose of K2O, K1: control (without K2O), K2: 60 kg/ha K3: 120 kg/ha dan K4: 180 kg/ha. The second factor was the difference concentration of gibberellin, G1: control (0 ppm), G2: 100 ppm G3: 125 ppm dan G4: 150 ppm. The data was analyzed using ANOVA (Analysis of Variance) and further test with Duncan Multiple Range Test (DMRT) at the level of five percent (5%). The results showed that the treatment of K2O fertilizer had a significant effect on the parameters of the plant height, the number of leaves and potassium up take of chili plant. Keywords: chili,gibberellin, K2O

Abstract

Green mustard (Brassica juncea L.) is a vegetable plant that is much needed by the community. One of the factors causing the decline in mustard greens production is due to the community's need for mustard greens which is quite high along with population growth which continues to grow and the harvested area for mustard greens is decreasing. The development of mustard greens produced generally still uses inorganic fertilizers so that it is not yet oriented towards organic products or manure. Quail droppings can cause environmental pollution so that it becomes a solution to be used as manure. This study aims to obtain a combination of doses of manure, quail manure and NPK which gives the highest yield for the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) Tosakan F1 variety. The research was carried out in an experimental field located at Jalan DarmaBakti, Curug Village, Kiara Residence, West Bogor District, Bogor City. The research site is located at an altitude of 195 meters above sea level. The research took place from December 2021 to February 2022. The research method used was a single factor Randomized Group Design (RBD) consisting of 9 treatments and 3 replicates: A (Control), B (15 tons/ha of manure), C (250 kg /ha NPK), D (5 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), E (10 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), F (15 tons/ha manure + 200 kg/ha NPK), G (5 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK), H (10 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK) and I (15 tonnes/ha of manure + 150 kg/ha of NPK). Data were analyzed using the F-test analysis at the 5% level if there was a significant effect followed by the DMRT (Duncan Multiple Range Test) advanced test at the 5% level. The results of this study showed no significant effect of giving a combination dose of quail manure and NPK on the growth and yield of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.) of the Tosakan F1 variety. Keywords: Mustard green variety Tosakan F1, quail manure fertilizer, NPK fertilizer.

Abstract

This research observed about the structure of Dermaptera insects community on oil palm trees. This research is aimed to study about the structure of the community and the abundance of each species of Dermaptera on oil palm trees. The research is conducted in three places, they are Nagari Gunung Selasih, Sungai Dareh and IV Koto. The research is conducted using hand collecting method once a month. It is operated two times in October and November 2017. Result shows that there are four species of Dermaptera found in the three places, they are Chelisoches morio, Doru aculeatum, Euborellia arcanum and Vostox apicedentatus. The most common species found is C. morio. It is also found that the structure of Dermaptera is not complex because it’s unevenness and has a low biodiversity value.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the components of the 7P marketing strategy on CV. Dewa Ruci Gemilang, analyzed the influence of the 7P marketing strategy on marketing performance, and explained the results of the research for company development. The stages of analysis using SEM-PLS go through five processes, namely the conceptualization model, determining the algorithm analysis, determining the resampling method, drawing path diagrams, and evaluating the model. The research results show that the product has a positive influence on marketing performance. Price has a positive influence on marketing performance. Place has a positive influence on marketing performance. Promotion has a positive influence on marketing performance. People have a positive influence on marketing performance. Abstract

This study aims to determine the growth response of several soybean varieties on dry land by administering biocompass from the fermented fungus Trichoderma spp to determine the extent of the effect of biocompost fertilizer on the growth of several soybean varieties on dry land. The method used in this study is an experimental method, namely the research is carried out by manipulating the object of research and the presence of controls. The research was carried out on dry land in Giri Tembesi Village, Gerung District, West Lombok Regency, the soil type where the experiment was regusol soil with a pH of 5.7 and a moisture content of 0.77% organic matter. The results showed that the application of biocompost from the fermentation of Trichoderma spp. to some soybean varieties have not been able to stimulate plant growth but in general can adapt to dry land. Differences in soybean varieties resulted in significantly different growth responses. There is no significant difference in the application of biocompost to the growth of soybeans on dry land due to the application dose that is not optimal, so it is necessary to study the optimal dosage of using biocompost. Keywords: Biocompost; dry land; Soya bean; Trichoderma SPP

Abstract

Mustard greens is a vegetable that is in great demand by the public because it contains various good nutrients for health and its cultivation is easy to do, so to meet public demand it is necessary to increase production, namely by fertilizing.. This study aims to obtain the concentration of liquid organic waste fermented water which has the best effect on the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). The research method used was a Single Factor Randomized Block Design (RBD) experiment with fermented water concentrations of liquid organic waste, namely A0 (control), A1 (100 ml/l), A2 (200 ml/l), A3 (300 ml/l) , A4 (400 ml/l), A5 (500 ml/l) and A6 (POC NASA 4 ml/l). Consists of 7 treatments and 5 replications, so there are 35 experimental units. The results of analysis of variance and DMRT level of 5% explained that the difference in the concentration of fermented liquid organic waste had a significant effect on plant height and number of leaves aged 14, 21 and 28 days after mustard plants. Treatment A1 (100 ml/l liquid organic waste fermented water) gave the best results on the growth of mustard greens (Brassica juncea L.). Keywords: Fermentation water, liquid organic waste, Mustard (Brassica juncea L.)

Abstract

Broadbeaked Mustard (Brassica narinosa L.H. Bailey) or better known by other names Ta Ke Chai and Tatsoi has a beautiful appearance. This type of mustard is still relatively rare in the market even though some farmers have started cultivating it, its production and distribution are not as much as other types of mustard greens, and has a relatively higher selling price than the selling price of other mustard greens. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of a combination of organic growing media and EC value of the nutrient on the growth and yield of Pagoda mustard in a hydroponic wick system. The study used a single factor randomized block design with 12 treatments, namely A (rockwool + EC 1.5-1), B (rockwool + EC 2.5-1), C (rockwool + EC 3.5-1), D (charcoal husk + EC 1.5-1), E (husk charcoal + EC 2.5-1), F (husk charcoal + EC 3.5-1), G (cocopeat + EC 1.5-1), H ( cocopeat + EC 2.5-1), I (cocopeat + EC 3.5-1), J (sawdust + EC 1.5-1), K (sawdust + EC 2.5-1), L ( sawdust + EC 3.5-1) with repeated 3 times. The results showed that the combination of organic growing media and EC value of the nutrient significantly affected the parameters of plant height, leaf number, root length, fresh weight, marketable weight, and leaf area of Broadbeaked mustard (Brassica narinosa L.H. Bailey) pagoda variety in hydroponic wick system. Treatment I (cocopeat + EC 3.5-1 gave the highest yield on an average fresh weight of 187.08 g, a marketable weight of 141.08 g. Keywords: Planting media; EC; Broadbeaked Mustard; Hydroponics Wick System

Abstract

Lemon lime is one of the horticultural plants that have higher bioactive compounds than lime. Lemon is very much in demand by the public because it contains vitamins, minerals and fiber, besides that it is also often used as a flavor enhancer in regional specialties, so it has a fairly high economic value. The demand is so much that it is difficult for farmers to meet market demand, this is because the lemon cultivation system is so difficult.One way to propagate lemon lime plants can be done by shoot cuttings, namely in this way lemons are easier to root and have lower levels of phenolic compounds which act as factors that support root initiation on cuttings This research aims to find out there is an influence of natural ZPT (coconut water) on the success of Lemon shoot cuttings, To find out there is an effect of giving artificial ZPT (BAP) to the success of Lemon shoot cuttings, To find out there is an interaction of natural ZPT (coconut water) and artificial ZPT (BAP) on the success of Lemon shoot cuttings. This research was conducted Jl. Quarantine Ujung Kec. Medan struggle Kel. Sidorame Barat I Medan. This study consisted of a Complete RandomIzed Block Design (RAK) consisting of 2 factors, namely: Natural ZPT Factor (A) namely: A0 (Control), A1 (150 mg / L), A2 (200 mg / L) and A3 (250 mg / L). While the artificial ZPT factor (B) is: B0 (Control), B1 (0.1 ml / polybag), B2 (0.3 ml / polybag) and B3 (0.5 ml / polybg) there are 16 combinations of treatment and 3 repeats. The results of this study showed that there was an effect of natural ZPT administration on observation of stem diameter, but had no noticeable effect on observation, plant height, number of leaves, length of buds and number of buds. There is no effect of artificial ZPT giving on all observation parameters. There is no interaction on the combination of natural ZPT and artificial ZPT against all observation parameters. Keywords: Lemon, Shoot Cuttings, Natural ZPT, Artificial ZPT.

Abstract

Watermelon is a horticultural commodity that is highly favored by the people of Indonesia and has quite high economic value because it tastes sweet and has a lot of water content. One of the obstacles in watermelon cultivation is improper cultivation techniques so that production is not optimal. This study aims to determine the efficiency of pruning watermelon plants and applying KCl fertilizer to watermelon production. This study was arranged based on a completely randomized design (CRD) with two treatment factors, namely A (pruning) consisting of A0 (pruning main branches), A1 (pruning primary branches) and A2 (pruning secondary branches), treatment factor B (KCl Fertilizer) consists of B0 (100 g/plant), B1 (150 g/plant) and B2 (200 g/plant). The parameters observed in this study were plant height, number of nodes, first flower appearance, fruit circumference per sample, fruit weight per sample and total soluble solid content. Based on the results of research on the efficiency of pruning branches and applying KCl fertilizer in the generative phase on the production of the watermelon plant (Citrullus vulgaris S.) of the Baginda F1 variety that has been carried out, it can be concluded that pruning primary branches and applying a dose of 200 g/plant of KCl fertilizer gives good results against variables of fruit circumference and fruit weight as well as pruning of primary branches also gave the best results on the total soluble solit (TSS) value of watermelon. This study was analyzed statistically using analysis of variance (ANOVA) followed by the Duncans New Multiple Range Test (DNMRT) at 5% level. Keywords: Branch Pruning, KCl Fertilizer, Watermelon

Abstract

Shallot is a horticultural commodity that has high economic value and has good market prospects because it contains high nutrition and can be used as spices and ingredients for traditional medicine. However, shallot production in Indonesia still often fluctuates and even experiences a shortage in meeting the needs of domestic consumers. To increase shallot production, this can be done through intensification efforts, namely by improving cultivation techniques, including the use of organic fertilizers, proper fertilization, and the use of superior varieties. This study used a factorial randomized block design consisting of 2 treatment factors, namely factor I was fermented NPK (F) consisting of 0 ml, 250 ml, 500 ml and 750 ml. Factor II was the variety (V) of the Brebes Bima variety, the Probolinggo variety and the Nganjuk variety. The data analysis method was a factorial randomized block design (RBD). The results showed that the application of fermented NPK and the use of varieties had a very significant effect on the number of tillers per clump (saplings), production per sample (g), production per plot (g), tuber diameter (mm).Keywords: shallots, NPK fermented products, varietyÂ
