Abstract

Hegemony in art was very obvious in the era of New Order. The government under the New Order regime had absolute power and was believed to be the strongest and could always direct everything including art. Hegemony in Art is packed heavily in traditional intelectualt bales believed to be social expressions. This too is the case with the Senjang arts in the Musi Banyuasin district experiencing the hegemony power from before freedom even to the present era of the Reformation. This proved that every performance of the Senjang poem was ever included by propaganda sentences of particular interest to those who resort to Senjang arts service. The study qualitative methods with the interpretation and cultural approach analysis and therefore the qualitative data in which researchers are the principal instruments of data collection. The source of the data that was targeted was the visual presentation of the Senjang and the audio recording of the Senjang in the grain. Furthermore, ethnographic methods are also used with emic and ethical approaches to finding the real problem.

Abstract

Aneuk Yatim is a song created in 1999 by Rafly, has a message and meaning of peace in responding to issues of political upheaval in Aceh, and represents the condition of children in Aceh during the conflict. Through lyrics and melody, Rafly is able to create an atmosphere of sadness that can be felt by the community regarding the conditions and situations during the conflict. The vocals in the song Aneuk Yatim, written by Rafly, have a melodic structure and form consisting of musical ornaments, melodic travel arrangements and scales. This study describes the melody in the song Aneuk Yatim written by Rafly Kande using Western music theory. The purpose of this study is to determine the melody analysis method of pop music in Indonesia in general and regional pop music in particular. The approach taken is a qualitative approach, with descriptive analysis methods, assisted by ethical and emic approaches to facilitate the smoothness of the data search process. The selection of methods and approaches is carried out through documentation, observation, and interviews with participants. The form and structure of the melody in the song Aneuk Yatim, written by Rafly Kande, consists of two parts with a tempo of 60 bpm, each of which is divided into two sentences / periods. The sentences are arranged based on various forms of motifs, each of which has a melody and scale that is repeated in the next period / sentence with a slight change in the melody at the end of the figures (closing phrase). The scale used in this song is the Original Minor and Harmonious Minor, with sequences development techniques, diminished, and augmented. The results of this study are expected to become a reference and reference in the perspective of formal objects and material objects, related to the analysis of the form and structure of the melody, the development of melodic patterns discussed in Western music theory.

Abstract

This research, is the career journey of Siti Chairani Proehoeman as a soprano who has taken part in various countries, and is a great teacher who is a role model for every student who specializes in studying in the field of sound art. Siti Chairani Prohoeman is an Indonesian citizen who is very influential in Malaysia, he created a movement about vocals in Malaysia, great enthusiasm Siti Chairani Proehoeman has made vocals a culture for Malaysia. The names of the countries that Siti Chairani Proehoeman often performed at concerts, operas and recitals are in Italy, Germany, the Netherlands, France, Finland, USA, Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia. Siti Chairani Proehoeman already has several serial albums and her professional career is a Classical / Opera singer (Soprano). The factors of Siti Chairani Proehoeman became a famous soprano in various countries, namely family background, habits, environment and education. This study discusses Siti Chairani Proehoeman's career as a soprano in a biographical form. In this case the history of Siti Chairani Proehoeman's career as a soprano based on data, sources, informants and all matters relating to the life history of an artist. This research method, analytic description, case study, observer participation. The results showed that, in the practice of Siti Chairani Proehoeman's life based on a musicalological perspective and assisted through historical and biographical reviews, Siti Chairani Proehoeman's position was a famous soprano.

Abstract

The problem in this research is how the form of Gamelan Music Presentation in Seinggok Sepemunyian Dance at Sanggar Seinggok Sepemunyian, Prabumulih City. The purpose of this study was to determine and describe the form of presenting gamelan music in the Seinggok Sepemunyian dance at Sanggar Seinggok Sepemunyian, Prabumulih City. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. This research was conducted at Sanggar Seinggok Sepemunyian, Prabumulih City. In this study, researchers used data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews and documentation. The technique used is 1) the observation technique, namely observing directly the form of gamelan music in the presentation of the seinggok sepemunyian dance, 2) the interview technique is carried out by giving questions to the source who knows a lot about gamelan music, as well as the management of the Seinggok Sepemunyian Studio. 3) documentation technique, namely collecting data in the form of documents related to gamelan music in the presentation of the Seinggok Sepemunyian dance including audio and visual data. The results of this study indicate that Sanggar Seinggok Sepemunyian in gamelan music in the presentation of the Seinggok Sepemunyian dance tells about musical performances that will start until the end of the music show and the Seinggok Sepemunyian Dance is complete, where there is a musical concept in playing musical instruments such as drums face two.

Abstract

The development of Rantak Kudo Art is a performing arts phenomenon that occurs in the Kerinci area, in this dance performance is not performed specifically by the dancers, but is danced by the local community who mingle with each other while accompanying music produced from single organ and traditional musical instruments such as flutes and drums. Another unique thing is that this dance is performed all night, meaning that the dance participants are able to dance for more than 6 hours continuously, so that people think that Rantak Kudo dancing is accompanied by magical elements in the performance. At this time the art in the form of mass dances was present at every traditional art activity and event, although it was alleged that the Rantak Kudo art was influenced by the Rantak Kudo dance that developed in the South Coast and also the Rantak Kudo dance from the Rawang area. In particular, this study aims to reveal the forms and cultural values of Rantak Kudo art in the Kerinci area. The research methodology used in this study is post-positivism qualitative research, which is a method that not only analyzes the appearance, but also uses statistical methods and documents as a means to place groups of subjects into a larger population. The results of this study can be grouped into several points, including the cultural form of Rantak Kudo art, the cultural values contained in the Rantak Kudo art, the economic value, the value of art and creativity, and the value of the interpretation of ideas.

Abstract

This paper describes the understanding of the basic elements of making documentary films, as a form of communication media that represents real life delivered through electronic media in the form of audio visuals such as television. The discussion in this paper describes the style and form of the documentary based on Gerzon Ayawaila's opinion written in the Documentary book from idea to production. In addition, it is necessary to consider visual elements in the process of realizing the documentary film, namely videography techniques and editing techniques. Television as a medium of conveying messages in which there is a power that presents the fact that the media can shape what we know about the world and can be the main source of various opinions and ideas. The achievement of maximum results is carried out through a systematic and planned process, so that it will get the form of a quality television program that can provide entertainment and knowledge to the audience.

Abstract

Many learning videos have been created, both by educators and companies engaged in education, of the many learning videos spread through social media for learning videos to read the Qur'an, it can be said that the percentage is very small. For this reason, the author who is in an Islamic Education institution, has the desire to describe the design of an interesting learning video for reading the Qur'an so that later it can be disseminated through social media, later teachers at schools or in Al-Quran Education places can make your own learning videos using simple tools for effective learning achievement in learning in the current new normal era. Video learning to read the Qur'an is a media that presents audio and visuals that contain good learning messages that contain concepts, principles, procedures, knowledge application theories to help understanding a learning material to read the Qur'an. Video is a visible and heard learning material (audio visual) that can be used to convey messages / subject matter. Learning videos can be classified into audio visual aids (AVA) media types or media that can be seen and heard. Usually this media is stored in the form of data. For an educator can use learning media to read the Koran so that students are more enthusiastic in following the lessons delivered so that learning motivation will increase. This learning video can not only be produced for reading the Koran but for all materials it can be made according to the shape of the material.

Abstract

Alffy Rev is a music composer who has a digital music character who collaborates with ethnic musics. Alffy Rev builds his personal brand through social media such as Instagram. This research was made to show a personal branding strategy made by Alffy Rev on his way up to now which is reviewed through Instagram social media. This process is summarized in the form of personal branding strategy theory which consists of eight laws : Specialization, Leadership, Personality, Distinctiveness, Visibility, Unity, Persistence, Goodwill. All of these laws form a character or identity of a person, and the most important thing is to be consistent in carrying them out. With the branding strategy in progress, Alffy Rev said that his brand name is a great asset which is still maintained its strength until now Personal branding is one of the marketing strategies which is very important to be pursued by a music composer. Personal branding is one of the marketing strategies which is very important to be pursued by a music composer. In general, the existence of music artists is more dominant to singers and musicians. Before the digital era, the image of a music composer was simply someone who made music and worked backstage. Not many people can appreciate the work of music composers because they are not well known or not widely publicized by the media. However, after the presence of social media, music composers began to appear who were arguably more dominant than the singers. The singer acts as a companion to the music composer or commonly referred to as featuring.

Abstract

The problem in this study is "How to use video conferencing in learning the art of creative dance for students of class XI SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang, with the aim of describing the results of learning dance creations using video conferencing for class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang starting from planning, implementing, and evaluating learning . The benefit of this research is to increase insight and understanding of learning, especially about the art of creative dance through the use of video conferencing provided by educators to class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang. This research was conducted using qualitative methods with data collection techniques of observation, interviews and documentation. After data collection is done, the results of research and discussion can be concluded which can be concluded that the use of video conferencing in creative dance learning is very helpful in the distance learning process. In this study, the creative dance learning process went well, which can be seen from the description of the implementation of learning to evaluation, interviews with teachers and class XI students of SMA Muhammadiyah 1 Palembang, as well as documentation related to the results of evaluations carried out by teachers to students regarding the material that has been given using video conferencing.

Abstract

This study formulates the problem of how the form of music presentation in delivery at weddings in Penanggoan Duren Village, Tulung Selapan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study aims to determine how the form of music presentation in, delivery at weddings in the village of Penanggoan Duren. This research is qualitative. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results showed that this delivery was only carried out when the bride and groom came from the same village, this was because the distance was far in the process of walking, and this delivery only used kenong and tambourine instruments as media accompaniment. intermediate. The wasp pattern in kenong has 1 pattern that is usually played, then the tambourine has a wasp pattern, namely wasps 1, 2, 3, and 4. The art of inter-delivery music which has become a basic need for the community of Penanggoan Duren village, Tulung Selapan sub-district, Ogan Komering Ilir district as a special media for accompaniment and entertainers who are always used in delivery at weddings. Inter-delivery is a traditional art in the village of Penanggoan Duren, which is a walking process carried out by the groom to the bride's house by bringing an offering to be given to the bride without a unilateral agreement.
