Abstract

The Meulaboh City Government under the leadership of the Regent H. T. Alaidinsyah (in the period of 2012 - 2017) has a high concern on the use of bicycles as an alternative transportation tool that is cheapand environmentally friendly because it can help reduce congestion, air pollution, and have a positive impact on the health of its riders. The application of special bicycle lanes can be applied but often private vehicles, motorbikes and rickshaws stop blocking the bicycle lane. The use of bicycle lanes for parking vehicles should not be allowed, so cyclists are forced to use dangerous sidewalks or public roads. The problems raised and also become the purpose of research are how much influence the performance of bicycle lanes specifically on the lane of motorized vehicles and the level of effectiveness of their use in the city of Meulaboh. The research boundary was at the data collection location on Tgk Chik Ditiro Street, Pocut Baren, Teuku Umar and Sudirman Street, which is in Johan Pahlawan Subdistrict, West Aceh District (Meulaboh), with a length of 1635 meters of bicycle lanes. The calculation uses the BLOS (Bicycle Level Of Service) method. Based on the results of the research on the Tgk Chik Ditiro road rating of BLOS 3.7 and Teuku Umar road, the rank rating of 4.3 is based on the BLOS < 4.5 value limitation rating, categorized as rank D with the BLOS description of the two road environments that are not feasible for cyclists. Jalan Pocut Baren value generated 3.1 < 3.5 set by BLOS, stated rating C with the  description  of the  environment  on the  road  segment  is  good  enough  for  cyclists.  Whereas  for Sudirman road the rating of 1.8 < 2.5 which was set by BLOS, was stated as rank B with the description of the environment on the road section was good for bicycles.

Abstract

West Aceh has a coastline area and a river that drains water into the sea which is quite extensive and produces a lot of supply of lokan species that live in the river. Lokan is a special food that is served by many noodle stalls and restaurants in the area, while the shells become waste that has not been fully utilized. The availability of these shells originating from household waste has inspired the author to conduct research on the use of these as fillers. The shell fillers have little in common with cement fillers are equally lime-containing which can improve the carrying capacity of a mixture. The price is also cheaper and friendly to the environment. From this study the authors wanted to find out the effect of graft ash filler on Marshall parameters on concrete asphalt mixture. The research carried out refers to the technical specifications of the Department  of  Public  Works  2010.  Variations  in  the  filler  mixture  used  have  different compositions. The percentage of filler used for each variation is the addition of 0% cement filler and 100% shell ash, 20% cement ash filler addition and 80% shell ash, and 50% cement ash filler addition and 50% shell shell ash. The results obtained for optimum bitumen content in variations  of  0/100, 20/80  and  50/50  were  4.8%, 4.5%,  and  4.9%  respectively.  From  the Marshall evaluation results obtained the highest stability values at variations of 0/100, and the lowest in the variation of 50/50, this shows that the higher the content of shell shell ash will increase the higher carrying value but less flexible.

Abstract

The number of accidents that occurred in the city of Banda Aceh between the years 2012 - 2014 which recorded as many as 425 accidents. The number of accidents needs to be reduced given the importance of road users' safety. Some of the existing national roads in Banda Aceh City have the potential for accidents. The national road in Banda Aceh City has 3 types, type 6/2 D, type 4/2 D, and type 2/2 UD. Study on the determination of accident prone locations to minimize the number of accidents that occur should be done especially in the city of Banda Aceh which is the capital of Aceh province. In this study, a study was conducted on the location of accident-prone on the national road in Banda Aceh City with type 2/2 UD. The roads included in this type are Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, Jalan Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Hasan, and Jalan Simpang Rima-Bts Banda. This study aims to analyze the determination of accident prone locations based on accident data on national roads type 2/2 UD in Banda Aceh City and analyze safety issues in accident-prone locations based on accident data, traffic conflicts, and direct observation on location Accident prone. The ranking of vulnerable locations is done using 4 criteria, namely: 1) accident frequency, 2) Equivalent property damage only (EPDO), 3) accident rate, and 4) critical rate. The ranking comparison of these 4 criteria will be used as a reference to determine the location of the most prone to accident. From the analysis result, it was found that the accident-prone location of the three roads on the 2/2 UD road segment is Jalan Laksamana Malahayati and the road segment or the most accident-prone location is Jalan Laksamana Malahayati (Km 3 - 4). This is based on the assessment of the location that has the highest accident rate value and exceeds the critical crash rate on each of those road segments. Keywords: traffic accident, road segment, accident prone location

Abstract

Terjadi bencana adalah peristiwa atau musibah yang  mengancam atau  mengganggu kenyamanan  masyarakat dalam beraktifitas, bencana disebabkan faktor  alamiah  atau faktor manusiawi. Bencana dapat mengakibatkan terjadi korban jiwa, harta dan benda serta rusak lingkungan, kerugian harta benda, dan dampak trauma pada manusia. Bencana dikategorikan ada 3 (tiga), yaitu bencana alam, bencana sosial dan bencana non alam. Tujuan dari  penelitian ini yaitu  mengetahui ketersediaan dan kelengkapan, kondisi serta kesesuaian antara penggunaan dan fungsi jalur penyelamatan pada Bangunan Gedung Rektorat Universitas Teuku Umar berdasarkan peraturan yang berlaku. Metode penelitian yang digunakan ialah metode kuantitatife. Data yang dipakai  berupa data primer dan sekundere, yang diambil dengan cara penyebaran kuisioner, observasi dan pengamatan secara langsung. Pertanyaan melalui kuisioner diolah menggunakan software SPSS-23. Sedangkan data dari hasil observasi dan pengamatan secara langsung, diolah melalui analisa deskripsi sesuai hasil lapangan. Semua pertanyaan valid memiliki nilai korelasi lebih besar dari nilai product moment/r tabel 0,361. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa ketersediaan dan kelengkapan jalur penyelamatan pada Gedung Rektorat Universitas Teuku Umar belum terpenuhi untuk fungsi sosial sebagai gedung kampus. Kondisi penyelamatan pada Gedung Rektorat Universitas Teuku Umar masih sangat minim, dan faktor penyebab terkendala karena kurangnya pemahaman tentang kebijakan pemerintah berdasarkan Permen PU No 26/RPT/M/2008 tentang Teknis Sistem Sarana Penyelamatan pada Bangunan Gedung dan Lingkungannya.

Abstract

School is one type of land use that can produce trip attraction.This study was conducted to find out the factors that influences the trip attarction of school and build a model that can be used to estimate the tripattraction because of the students vehiclein the school are on Manekroo street, Meulaboh.This study was also conduct to determine the validity of the model by using the value of coefficient determination (R2).Data collection in this study was conducted by calculating the the number of vehicles movementsin the schools reviewed, on coming hours and on out hours.The data are analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with using SPSS software version 20. The reults indicate that the most influencing variable is the number of students. Calculation results obtained model resylting fromcalculation is Y = 38,575 + 0,911 X1, which Y is the total number of trip attraction in Schools (smp/jam) and X1  is a   umber of students. The validity of the model using coefficient determination is 0,993 ; it means the equation is feasible for estimating the value of dependent variable. Keywords : Model, Trip Attraction, School, SPSS

Abstract

Beton yang digunakan sebagai struktur dalam konstruksi teknik sipil, dapat dimanfaatkan untuk  banyak hal. Umumnya dalam teknik sipil, struktur beton digunakan untuk bangunan pondasi, kolom, balok, pelat atau pelat cangkang. Hal tersebut menunjukkan betapa pentingnya penggunaan bahan beton dalam dunia teknik sipil sehingga dibutuhkan pengenalan yang mendalam mengenai sifat-sifat bahanbahan penyusun beton. Untuk menghasilkan beton dengan kekuatan tinggi,penggunaan air atau fakto rair semen terhadap semen haruslah kecil dengan konsekuensi pengerjaan beton akan menjadi sulit karena campuran beton atau beton muda akan menjadi sangat kental, nilai workabilitasnya menjadi kecil. Hal tersebut dapat diatasi dengan menambahkan bahan tambah seperti superplasticizer. Penelitian ini menggunakan zat tambah yaitu abu cangkang sawit, dimana jumlah yang ditambahkan adalah 0 %, 5 %, 8 %, 10 % dan 15 % terhadap berat semen, juga digunakan superplastizer (Viscocrete N 10) sebanyak 1,5 % dari berat semen. Beton direncanakan dengan faktor air semen (FAS) sebesar 0,3. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap kuat tekan beton pada umur 28 dan 56 hari. Pengujian kuat tekan dilakukan pada benda uji silinder beton dengan diameter 15 cm dan tinggi 30 cm. Jumlah benda uji 30 buah, setiap variabel menggunakan 3 buah benda uji. Hasil pengujian kuat beton pada umur 28 hari menunjukkan pada penambahan masing-masing abu cangkang sawit, 0% menghasilkan kuat tekan  (54,14 MPa), 5% (59,04 MPa), 8% (47,53 MPa), 10% (52,44 MPa), dan 15% (60,74 MPa). Untuk umur pengujian 56 hari, 0% menghasilkan kuat tekan (57,91 MPa), 5% (64,89 MPa), 8% (57,91 MPa), 10% (56,21MPa), dan 15% (69,23 MPa). Terjadi penambahan kekuatan 13,98% pada umur 56 hari dibandingkan kuat tekan pada umur 28 hari dengan penambahan abu cangkang sawit sebesar 15%.

Abstract

Kinerja bangunan yang sangat baik semasa penyelenggaraan tidak dapat dipisahkan dari kontribusi struktur pondasi sebagai struktur dasar yang memberikan dukungan dan stabilitas. Pondasi menerima beban dari bangunan atas dan mentransfer beban dengan menyebarkannya di wilayah yang cukup besar dengan memanfaatkan ketahanan tanah maksimum. Semua beban dan tekanan yang disalurkan ke tanah  akan menghasilkan beberapa pergerakan yaitu pegerakan yang diijinkan. Pondasi yang mengalami pergerakan melebihi kemampuannya dalam menahan beban akan menyebabkan kegagalan pondasi. Distorsi dan kerusakan dari superstruktur timbul akibat kegagalan yang terjadi.Tindakan perbaikan akan membantu masalah dan meningkatkan kinerja struktur untuk mencegah kegagalan lanjut. Penelitian ini melibatkan kasus kegagalan pondasi yang terjadi di bangunan perumahan. Penelitian ini terdiri dari investigasi tapak untuk mengetahui kondisi, jenis dan penyebab kegagalan pondasi , kerusakan yang terjadi dilapangan dan jenis perbaikan pekerjaan yang dilaksanakan. Semua kegagalan yang terjadi memiliki ikatan yang kuat dengan kondisi tanah, karena perilaku tanah menetukan stabilitas struktur pondasi. Pada studi kasus ini penurunan tanah terjadi karena kekuatan stabilitas tanah yang rendah. tanahnya mengandung bahan tanah liat / lumpur yang tidak cocok dan memiliki daya dukung yang rendah untuk membawa beban .Penurunan tanah yang terjadi telah menghasilkan banyak kerusakan struktur pada perumahan. Pekerjaan-pekerjaan perbaikan dilakukan dengan metode underpinning menggunakan kombinasi antara micro pile dan balok serta stabilisasi tanah menggunakan pressure grouting. Dari pekerjaan perbaikan yang dilakukan memperlihatakan tidakadanya lagi pergerakan pada bangunan dan teknik underpinning memiliki dampak yang baik menstabilkan struktur pondasi.

Abstract

Research on Development Projects Griya Mahony aims to determine the feasibility of the investment project in this case the benefits will be achieved. The feasibility study is based on the financial aspectsof using parameter Net Present Value (NPV), Benefit Cost Ratio (BCR), Internal Rate of Return (IRR) is calculated based on the length of the installment/credit generate favorable value/ feasible (feasible). For a 10-year installment (NPV Rp.802.618.444, BCR 1.036 and 2.469% IRR), for repayment periods of 15 years (NPV Rp4.208.880.167, BCR and IRR 1,174 5,368%), for repaymentperiods of 20 years ( NPV is Rp7.432.022.615, BCR and IRR 1,285 6.555%), and for the repayment periods of 25 years (NPV Rp10.886.611.347, BCR and IRR 1,388 7.272%). So the value obtained in this project future installments of not less than 10 years and not more than 25-year repayment periods. Having carried out a sensitivity analysis for future installments credit 10 years of investment is not feasible (unfeasible), while for future installments / credit 15 years, a period installment/loan repayment periods of 20 years and credit / 25 years of investment in this project is still feasible. This study was followed by memproporsionalkan number of house types to be produced to obtain the optimal proportion of the number of houses. From these results, the optimal amount that must be built on to three (3) types of housing totaling 76 units, with 80 types of houses as many as 13 units, 65 type of house 29 units, and 45 types of housing as many as 34 units. Gains derived from the proportion of the number of house types are optimal for repayment periods of 10 years of Rp7.162.031.000, for 15year repaymentperiods Rp11.08509 billion, to 20-year repayment periods ofRp15.380.030.000 and to 2-year installment period Rp 19.95799 billion. From the calculation of investment feasibility studies for optimal conditions of house number greater than the condition of houses planned by the developer.

Abstract

Transport infrastructure is one element of the regional development is indispensable for the smooth access to the existing facilities in the region. The material used in the construction of highways, among others, aggregates, asphalt and filler. During this time the filler material that is often used in asphalt mixtures are cement, lime, stone dust, fly ash. However, these filler materials inventory is limited and relatively expensive. Accordingly, the need to find alternative cheap and easily obtained. One alternative is the utilization of local natural resources. The ash of coconut fiber can not be used anymore and are usually thrown away by society. By using the principles of reuse, recycle and recovery, coconut husk ash is expected to be recovered thus reducing the waste bin. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the use of coconut husk ash as filler to mix asphalt Retona Blend 55 and to find out the coconut husk ash can be used as a substitute for the filler material mixture highway or not. The method in this study using laboratory experiments. The research showed that most of the physical properties meet the requirements prescribed specifications. Examination of the physical nature of asphalt Retona Blend 55 which includes examination density, penetration, ductility, and the softening point indicates that the asphalt can be used for fulfilling the requirements set. The composition of the mixture that the best results are with the composition of the mixture by using coconut husk ash as filler by 4.5% with the optimum asphalt at 6.25%. The use of optimum asphalt of 6.25% resulted in a value of 1295.47 kg stability, flow plastically 4.0 mm, MQ 328.51 kg, density of 2.21 g / cm3, VIM 5.43%, 17.89% VMA, VFB 70.17%. Those values have been in accordance with the standard specifications of the Department of Public Works.Keywords: filler, coconut husk ash, Retona Blend 55, mixture of asphalt

Abstract

Building school as a means of education for the smooth process of teaching and learning. With the maintenance of poor buildings cause the various functions of building facilities decreases and affects the quality and comfort of building users. If the damage to building components is left then slowly the service life of the building will decrease. View function of High School building Bina Generasi Bangsa Meulaboh, then it should be this building gets good maintenance for the reliability and feasibility of buildings in the architecture, structure, and utilities remain awake and function optimally. The purpose of this research is to know the priority of building maintenance. The method of analysis used statistical methods and  Analytical Hierarcy Process (AHP). The result of analysis of priority sequence of maintenance of asitektur element can be first priority that is roof covering, while second priority on structural element that is column, beam and floor plate.
