Abstract

This research aims to reveal the importance of competence,motivational and talent management in affecting the employee performance. This research population was the employees of Budi Kemuliaan Hospital from the nurse or midwife division, medical staff and non-medical staff which located in DKI Jakarta, with a total sample of 98 respondents. Through purposive sampling, those population were permanent employees in the nurse or midwife department, medical staff and non-medical division who have been worked for more than 2 years in order to gain their respective performance well. The analytical method that applied in this research by multiple linear regression with the assist of SPSS program. The research outcomes has been proved that competence has a positive affect on employee performance. So does with Motivation which also has a positive impact towards it. The increasing in competence and motivation on nurses or midwives, medical staff, and non-medical staff would be able to lifted their performance as well. However, it was found that the talent management has no impact towards the employee performance. This could be said that no matter how good talent management is, it would not be able to boost the employee performance, therefore further research are needed.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out how the description of parenting communication in educating and protecting children during the pandemic, especially in Giri Mekar Village, Cilengkrang District, Bandung Regency, and the general pattern of parenting communication that occurred during the covid 19 pandemic. The research locus was chosen based on the relationship with the community. The author formed the study as part of community service activities going on for approximately 3 years. The author wants to know for sure in advance and explore parenting communication that occurs so that steps for PKM activities can be taken like what is useful and effective according to the needs of students, parents, schools, and the community in general. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research method. By triangulating sources, The researcher used the Principal of SD Negeri Girimekar 3, the supervising teacher for the students whose parents were the respondents, and the class teacher. This research is based on the reason that the students of SD Negeri Girimekar 3 are many participants in the author's learning home learning community (PKBM). The study results found that not only teachers but also parents also act as the first and primary educators. The latter has the responsibility to create and nurture their children to become good children in terms of behavior, mental, and heart. Responsibility as a parent must motivate their children to become disciplined and confident children using their potential. The attitude of the mother and father towards the child will greatly affect how the child's temperament or behavior in his daily life.

Abstract

This study objective to determine and analyze more related to the effect of work discipline and compensation on employee-performance through work-motivation as an intervening variable (case study: the secretariat of the parliament of the province of DKI Jakarta). The research method used is a quantitative research method with causal. The research population is the Employees of the Secretariat of the parliament of the province of DKI Jakarta, the status of civil servant with a total sample of 100 respondents. Methods of data analysis using SEM-PLS. And the results indicated that compensation does not significantly affect work motivation. Work discipline has a significant effect on work motivation. Compensation does not have a significant leverage on employee performance. Work discipline has a significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has a significant impact on employee performance. Work motivation has no impact in mediating compensation on employee performance. However, work motivation is influential in mediating work discipline on employee performance.

Abstract

This research is based on the Stewardship theory, be the origin of the independent variable where the assessment, bookkeeping, and application of SIMAK BMN are tasks that must be fulfilled by the government as a form of optimal human resource management and making the best decisions for the benefit of the community. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the variables of valuation, bookkeeping, and the application of SIMAK BMN on the quality of financial reporting, which was moderated by the motivation of users of the SIMAK BMN application. 51 respondents used the purposive sampling technique from 27 work unit areas of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries using the SEM PLS method using the SmartPLS 3.3 software. The results showed that simultaneously and partially, the variables of assessment, bookkeeping, and the application of SIMAK BMN has a positive and significant effect on the quality of financial reporting. In contrast, users' motivation of the SIMAK BMN application can only moderate the implementation of SIMAK BMN on the quality of financial reporting. This proves that work experience alone is not enough if it is not accompanied by work motivation.

Abstract

This research aims to find out and analyze related to the influence of workload and work environment with work motivation as a mediation variable in PT Ciptajaya Sejahtera Abadi. This study method uses quantitative research with causal methods. The population for this study was an employee of PT Ciptajaya Sejahtera Abadi as many as 220 people and for the study sample using the slovin formula to 142 respondents. Data collection uses primary data and secondary data. Technical data analysis uses path analysis methods (Path Models) with the help of SmartPLS version 3.2.9. The results showed that work sacrifices have a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Workload has a negative and significant effect on work motivation.The work environment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance.The work environment has a positive and significant effect on work motivation. Work motivation has a negative and significant effect on employee performance. Workload and work environment have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Workload, work environment and work motivation have a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Work motivation has no mediating effect on workload on employee performance. Work motivation has no mediating effect on the work environment on employee performance.

Abstract

This research analyzes the phenomena that occur to the decrease in employee performance result. To achieve the company's vision in its development requires employees who provide the best performance and contribute to building the company. This research aims to analyze the effect of leadership behavior and leadership communication on employee performance mediated by employee engagement at the Customer Relations and Administration Division of PT XYZ. This research uses a quantitative approach. The population in this research as many as 83 employees with the sampling technique used is a saturated sample so that all populations are used as respondents. The data analysis method used Structural Equation Model-Partial Least Square (SEM-PLS). The results of research show that leadership behavior has a positive but not significant effect on employee performance, as well as on employee engagement. Employeee engagement does not mediate leadership behavior on employee performance. Leadership communication has a positive and significant effect on employee engagement, but has no significant effect on employee performance. Employee engagement has a positive and significant effect on employee performance, and succeeded in fully mediating leadership communication on employee performance.

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran Jakarta (STIP), a Maritime Higher Education Institute, has a vision to become an International Standard Maritime Education Institution that produces professional Shipping Human Resources. This vision is supported by a commitment to establish, maintain and review anti-bribery policies that put forward the principles of clean, transparent, and accountable governance as an effort towards a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM). The policy of realizing good institutional governance and assessing commitment to corruption prevention refers to the regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Men.PAN & RB ) Number 10 of 2019 concerning amendments to the regulation of the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (Men.PAN & RB ) Number 52 of 2014 concerning Guidelines for the Development of an Integrity Zone Towards a Corruption-Free Area and a Clean Bureaucracy Free Area and Serving in Government Agencies. STIP's anti-bribery performance measurement on service delivery is carried out with a survey that produces the Anti-Corruption Perception Index (IPAK). Service delivery in general is 89.95 classified in category A, so the performance is declared very good. Elements that support the performance of clean, transparent, accountable service delivery, especially free from requests for money for services, brokering practices, and services in return. As for the performance of other services, the formation training and education was obtained by 91.93 obtaining a quality value of A. Meanwhile, skills training services were at 87.11, updating training at 85.89, and skills training at 84.47 obtaining a B quality score.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine and analyze: (1) Placement (2) Work Discipline; (3) Employee Performance; and (4) The Effect of Placement and Work Discipline on the Performance of the Railway Engineering Center for West Java Region, either simultaneously or partially. The research method used in this research is a descriptive survey and an explanatory survey, the unit of analysis in this study is the employees of the West Java Regional Railway Engineering Center with a sample of 50 people. The type of investigation is causality, and the time horizon in this study is cross-sectional. Based on the results of the study, it was found that the placement of employees at the Railway Engineering Center for the Western Java Region was good, the Work Discipline of the Employees at the Railway Engineering Center for the Western Java Region was generally good, the employee performance of the Railway Engineering Center for the Western Java Region was currently considered good. Employee Placement and Work Discipline have an effect on the Employee Performance of the Railway Engineering Center for the West Java Region simultaneously and partially. However, partially dominant placement affects employee performance than work discipline. Because placement more dominantly affects employee performance, it becomes the first priority in improving the employee's performance. Therefore, the West Java Regional Railways Engineering Center is advised to remain consistent in arranging work placements according to their existing abilities, so that they are able to work more professionally.

Abstract

Lower back pain (LBP) has become the most common musculoskeletal condition in developing countries. In Indonesia, it ranges from 3-17% affected by LBP. This is also related to the use of Visual Display Terminal (VDT), because the use of VDT is also related to one's sitting position. It is also known that, LBP is the third leading cause of occupational diseases caused by using VDT. Literature reviews that are based on articles and journals customized to PICO (population, intervention, control, output). Journals were searched in medical databases through Google Scholar, JOEM, and the Cochrane Library, using the keywords "low back pain", "risk factor", "office worker" and "VDT". From 4 selected journals, it was found that gender, age, Body Mass Index (BMI), sitting duration, working period, computer use, sitting position, LBP history became a risk factor for LBP occurrence and proved to be related to LBP because it has a value of p=<0.05. Workers working with VDT who experienced significant lower back pain were found to be more numerous in female workers, workers with an age range of 40-50 years, smokers, workers who had worked in the range of 1-21 years, previous LBP history, BMI >25, using computers 4-6 hours a day, working overtime, and also work experience with computers for 6-15 years.

Abstract

Performance management is one of the process to achieve a company's vision and mission. The good achievement of company performance is an indicator of the achievement of the company's strategic goals. This research was conducted at a lubricant manufacturing company. The issues faced by the company were a declining market share of sales related to the risk of highly competitive market competition, high levels of losses and rework, and failing to achieve production costs target related to process control methods and resource management. This study aims to determine the effect of risk management processes, personnel capabilities and the application of total quality management (TQM) on company performance. The questionnaire data analysis involved 74 respondents. The data then processed through validity, reliability, classical assumption testing, regression analysis and the coefficient of determination using SPSS. The results of the study showed that the risk management process did not significantly affect the company's performance, the influence of personnel capabilities and the implementation of TQM were positive and significant to the company's performance. The risk management process, personnel capability and TQM implementation simultaneously affect the company's performance positively and significantly.
