Abstract

Indonesia adalah salah satu negara yang merupakan pelaku impor dan juga ekspor. Berdasarkan jalur yang digunakan, terdapat tiga jalur untuk melakukan impor dan ekspor yaitu jalut darat, udara dan laut. Jalur laut adalah yang banyak diminati oleh sebagian besar pelaku impor dan ekspor. PT Evergreen adalah perusahaan pelayaran yang mana bertanggungjawab atas kondisi dan penanganan peti kemas dari pelabuhan asal ke pelabuhan tujuan. Pengaruh penanganan dan biaya perbaikan kontainer impor di PT Evergreen Shipping Agency Indonesia disebabkan oleh masalah kecepatan pengangkutan yang menyebabkan peningkatan biaya pengangkutan kontainer ekspor dan impor selalu meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Selain itu, situasi ekspor dan impor Indonesia yang masih sangat terfragmentasi juga menjadi faktor yang melatar belakangi meningkatnya penanganan dan biaya perbaikan kontainer import. Adapun kendala umum pada penanganan kontainer yaitu faktor cuaca dan kesalahan manusia (human error). Penelitian ini ditujukan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh proses penanganan kontainer import terhadap biaya perbaikan kontainer di PT Evergreen Shipping Agency Indonesia.

Abstract

Penelitian ini berfokus pada permasalahan yang terjadi di kapal MT. Ontari saat penulis melaksanakan survey lapangan, yaitu adanya beberapa masalah yang terjadi injector dan fuel oil purifier, akibatnya operasional kapal menjadi terganggu. Tujuan penelitian ini untuk mencari penyebab bahan bakar terlalu banyak lumpur pada fuel oil purifier, sehingga bahan bakar tidak bersih sempurna. Metode yang digunakan adalah deskriptif kualitatif yang bertujuan untuk membuat deskripsi atau menjelaskan secara sistematis mengenai latar belakang masalah yang terjadi di MT. Ontari melalui diagram fishbone, sehingga dapat diperoleh penjelasan yang akurat dan sistematis yang berhubungan dengan kejadian yang diselidiki. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat pemilihan melalui grafik gravity disc melalui manual book, serta melakukan perawatan terhadap filter yang terdapat pada sistim bahan bakar sebelum memasuki fuel oil purifier. Kesimpulan yang di dapat dalam penelitian ini kurangnya pengetahuan masinis yang bertanggung jawab terhadap pemilihan gravity disc yang sesuai dengan buku petunjuk (intruction manual book) serta Penanganan yang kurang tepat pada sistim bahan bakar kapal disebabkan karena kurangnya perawatan pada filter bahan bakar yang tidak baik dan tidak sesuai dengan buku petunjuk (instruction manual book)

Abstract

Lecturers are professional educators and scientists with the main tasks of transforming, and disseminating science, technology and art through education, research and community service. Education in this century is a big challenge. The dominance of knowledge in education and learning must be able to be wise in using machines for benefit. To create quality lecturers, lecturer professional development is needed to improve their abilities. This study aims to develop a comprehensive and structured Continuous Professional Development (CPD) model to achieve standardized educational goals for vocational lecturers in the nautical study program at the Sekolah Tinggi Ilmu Pelayaran (STIP). Qualitative research with a population of 37 lecturers and a sample of 24 lecturers. The sample technique was purposive sampling. Data analysis techniques using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the value of a continuous professional competency development model required 47% of lecturers' perceptions, 47% of required perceptions of heads of research and community service departments, 61% of needed perceptions of heads of study programs, 61% of needed perceptions of leadership elements (chairman/deputy chairperson) 59%, the perception of the head of the quality assurance unit/headquarters is urgently needed 66% and the perception of the head of the lecturer group is needed 77% apprenticeship on ships.

Abstract

The main objective of this study is to explore the cadets' perception of talent management, work motivation, and its impact on the lecturers' performance at Maritime Private Higher Education institutions in DKI Jakarta. The study's population and sample size consisted of 208 participants. To achieve the objective, this research utilized a descriptive and explanatory survey method, with a saturated sampling technique. The data analysis approach involved frequency distribution, grouping, tabulating, and describing the data gathered in the field. The study's findings indicate that the talent management of lecturers at Maritime Private Higher Education institutions in Jakarta has been relatively effective in maintaining good talent. Moreover, the work motivation of the lecturers was found to be highly driven by the need for achievement. The results further indicate that the lecturers' performance in research is outstanding, particularly in preparing scientific reports. This research is significant as it highlights the importance of talent management and work motivation in enhancing the performance of lecturers at Maritime Private Higher Education institutions. The findings can assist academic administrators and policymakers in developing effective strategies for managing and motivating lecturers to improve their performance in teaching, research, and other related activities.

Abstract

Kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kompetensi karyawan dan kinerja organisasi melalui pelatihan Microsoft office dengan peserta khusus warga di area Rusunawa Marunda. Luaran program ini berdampak pada terciptanya warga Rusunawa Marunda yang mampu memanfaatkan Microsoft office yang bersertifikat sebagai bekal mencari pekerjaan. Pada pelatihan ini peserta yang berasal dari area Rusunawa Marunda berjumlah 15 orang di latih tentang fitur-fitur pada Microsoft office yang terdiri dari Microsoft word, Microsoft excel dan Microsoft power point. Pelatihan menggunakan metode participant dengan memberikan contoh dasar baik secara teori dan praktek kepada peserta pelatihan. Dari hasil kegiatan pengabdian kepada masyarakat yang di lakukan kepada warga area rusunawa marunda di ruang praktek komputer Unit TI STIP Jakarta dapat disimpulkan bahwa hasil evaluasi yang dilakukan pengukuran pasca pelatihan dinyatakan 100 % lulus dengan nilai rata-rata kelulusan yaitu 78,3.

Abstract

Rendahnya kinerja karyawan PT. Tanto Line Pelayaran Nusantara tercermin dari hasil kuantitas dan kualitas pekerjaan yang belum sesuai dengan target perusahaan. Untuk itu tim peneliti bertujuan mengangkat penelitian ini untuk menganalisis budaya organisasi yang lebih terarah pada budaya kaizen terhadap kinerja penanganan bongkar muat kapal di perusahaan pelayaran PT. Tanto Line Pelayaran Nusantara. Adapun metode penelitian yang digunakan tim peneliti adalah metode deskriptif kuantitatif. Jumlah populasi dan jumlah sampel adalah 30 responden ,teknik pengambilan sampel adalah sampling jenuh. Hasil penelitian dan pembahasan diperoleh bahwa budaya kaizen berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap kinerja penanganan bongkar muat kapal di perusahaan pelayaran PT. Abstract

This research aims to analyze how consumption patterns and transaction utilization have changed for young people when using e-wallet transactions. The research conducted by the author used a qualitative approach. In this research, the samples obtained by researchers used a purposive sampling method with a sample size of 100. This research used data collection techniques, including interviews, documentation, and a literature study. The raw data has been collected using interview and documentation data collection techniques, which the author then processes and analyzes. Based on research results, it was found that urban youth have currently experienced evolution or changes in the essence of consumption patterns. Consumption, which is actually a common life phenomenon that will never be replaced, has begun to shift in essence from the motivation of consumption to survive and fulfill needs to consumption to satisfy desires and lifestyle. The presence of digital transactions is here to meet these changes in consumption patterns. In a way, both of them have a mutual influence between consumption patterns, which are increasing in purchasing primary and secondary goods, and the high use of e-wallets, which is proven by the high circulation of money from year to year.

Abstract

This research explores the integration of advanced technologies, such as machine learning and sensor data analysis, into maritime education to enhance safety standards. The study focuses on cadets' knowledge, attitudes, and perceptions of safety practices and examines incident data to predict and prevent maritime incidents. Findings reveal that while cadets have substantial knowledge of safety regulations, their attitudes towards safety culture need reinforcement. The alignment of education programs with industry requirements and adherence to international standards are emphasized. Additionally, the integration of technology into curricula is crucial for preparing future maritime professionals. The research underscores the need for a comprehensive approach combining technical knowledge, professional attitudes, and advanced technology to significantly improve safety standards and ensure the sustainability of the maritime industry.

Abstract

Maritime higher education, as a higher education institution in the shipping sector, is directed to produce professional and reliable graduates in the shipping sector who meet national and international standards and can compete in the global market. The application of competency-based education for vocational education is a government decision, in this case, the Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education, as an effort to improve the quality of education and for vocational education based on the Manila amendment of STCW 2010. Many things can be done with information systems such as the academic information system for Maritime higher education seafarers 'education and training, which regulates the registration process, data on learning schedules, teaching, lecturers, training participants, and training participants' scores, to the stamp book process. The Seafarers' Education and Training Academic Information System gave a role of 61.41% to training participants in the Maritime higher education Jakarta environment, and other roles influenced 38.59%. The information system will also make it very easy for Maritime higher education to produce the information related above and facilitate all Maritime higher education activities related to data management.

Abstract

This research critically examines the integration of sustainability principles into transportation education, focusing on multimodal curriculum development. Qualitative research methods are employed to investigate the perspectives of 39 cadets studying multimodal transportation, logistics, transportation safety, and law and road management at a transportation institution. The findings reveal varying levels of awareness and integration of sustainability in education, with participants highlighting the need for a more comprehensive and practical curriculum. Participants also emphasize the importance of industry collaboration, research, and policy advocacy in enhancing sustainability focus. The research underscores the urgency of preparing future professionals for the globalized, environmentally conscious transportation industry. By incorporating participants' suggestions, educational institutions can enhance sustainability education and contribute to a more sustainable and resilient transportation sector.
