Abstract

This study aims to assess the sustainable ecotourism potential of a protected area such as Xuan Thuy Ramsar Site using a user-friendly toolkit that can be used by anyone. The Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) was employed to evaluate the potential of sustainable ecotourism by prioritizing ten criteria. Expert interviews and data analysis were conducted to determine criteria weights, followed by criteria-specific assessments. The assessment identified "Natural Sustainability" as the most critical factor for ecotourism, followed by "The Uniqueness of the Natural Landscape" and "Stakeholder Engagement." Xuan Thuy Ramsar Site scored a total of 7.32, indicating high potential for sustainable ecotourism development. Challenges such as infrastructure limitations and accessibility issues were also highlighted. In addition, a toolkit consisting of 10 criteria and the weights of each criterion was also developed to be applied in the periodic assessment of sustainable ecotourism potential according to scenarios. The study introduces a user-friendly AHP-based toolkit for assessing sustainable ecotourism potential, which can be adapted for other protected areas. The findings provide actionable insights for policymakers, conservationists, and local stakeholders to prioritize interventions and foster sustainable tourism practices.

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has triggered a major transformation in education, especially in SMK Citra Negara which focuses on vocational education. This study aims to evaluate the resistance of generation Z teachers to the implementation of technology-based educational transformation and industry needs. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The results of the study indicate that although technology-based curriculum is able to bridge the gap between education and the world of work, resistance among generation Z teachers remains a challenge. Causal factors include lack of training, administrative burden, and limited access to technology. Strategies such as needs-based training, mentoring, and collaboration with industry partners have proven effective in reducing resistance. This study concludes that strong institutional support and a collaborative approach are key to the success of vocational education transformation.

Abstract

Social media marketing strategies, customer reviews, and influencer marketing have influenced consumer behavior in purchasing products, particularly in the case of MS Glow cosmetic products, which experienced a decline in sales due to issues regarding the safety of the products. The purpose of this study is to investigate the influence of customer reviews, influencer marketing, and brand awareness on increasing consumer purchase intention, which can then affect the purchase decision on MS Glow cosmetic products. This research employed a quantitative research technique based on positivist ideology using multiple linear regression methods, where the object of the research is the official Shopee MS Glow Indonesia online store, with a population comprising all customers who have purchased MS Glow items through the internet, and a sample size of 100 people calculated using the Lemeshow formula, with primary data sources collected through the distribution of Google Form questionnaires. The research results show that customer reviews, influencer marketing, and brand awareness have a significant influence on purchase decisions, both directly and through purchase intention as a mediating variable. Customer reviews show a positive influence on purchase intention and purchase decisions, although there are indications of an unusual relationship that requires further investigation. Influencer marketing has been proven to have a strong positive impact on purchase intention and purchase decisions, while brand awareness also shows a significant positive influence on purchase intention and purchase decisions. Analysis of indirect effects through purchase intention shows a positive and significant effect of customer reviews, influencer marketing, and brand awareness on purchase decisions, emphasizing the importance of an integrated marketing strategy that considers all these aspects to increase purchase intention and ultimately drive purchase decisions.

Abstract

The development of media platforms in the digital and internet era has made promotional activities through audiovisual content a necessity. According to the Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) data from 2023, 55.06% of Indonesians enjoy accessing online videos. With the advancement of technology, almost all segments of society are able to create video content, especially for social media. However, this is not the case for the organic farmers in Cikurubuk Village, Sumedang Regency. As farmers, they lack the skills to produce promotional content professionally, including video promotions. Yet, they need such content to introduce their organic rice products to a wider audience. As a result, the organic rice they produce is not well-known in the community. To support the organic farmers of Cikurubuk Village, the Film and Television Production Study Program at Widyatama University conducted a community service project by creating a documentary film in the form of a profile video introducing organic farming in Cikurubuk Village, which can be used as promotional content for Cikurubuk's organic rice. This profile video production employed the documentary film production method, which includes the stages of pre-production, production, and post-production. This method was based on the documentary film production theory of Rosenthal and Eckhardt. The project resulted in a comprehensive profile video about the organic rice from Cikurubuk Village, which also serves to promote their products to the wider public.
