Abstract

Kesengsaraan yang diakibatkan oleh alam maupun manusia merupakan bagian dari hidup manusia dan keluarga. Kesadaran atas realitas ini sepatutnyamendorong kita untuk terus merenungkan keyakinan dasar Kristiani bahwa Allah adalah kasih dan tetap solider dengan sesama yang tengah mengalami kesulitan hidup. Iman akan solidaritas Allah kepada manusia dan keluarga yang menderita merupakan pondasi penting agar kita tidak hanyut di dalam keputusasaan dan kesulitan hidup. Melalui doa manusia dapat mengalami penyertaan dan kasih Allah dalam hidup sehari-hari.

Abstract

Perubahan dan perkembangan dunia sangat diwamai oleh arus besar globalisasi. Dalam arus ini, berita lnjil tentang kerajaan Allah yang memerdekan danmenyelamatkan manusia terus dimaklumkan hingga menerobos perubahan dan perkembangan jaman. Demi kesuksesan pewartaan ini, umat basis (paguyuban) sebagai murid Kristus perlu berjuang terus mewujudkan Kerajaan Allah yang memerdekakan, menguduskan dan menyelamatkan setiap orang dan seluruh alam semesta dari kerakusan, kekerasan, penindasan, penipuan dan kemiskimnan. Tugas keluarga Katolik ialah membangun diri menjadi habitus baru atau basis kehidupan iman anak, remaja serta kaum muda. Habitus ini bisa tercipta melalui gerakkan membangun hidup menggereja bagi keluarga-keluarga Katolik yang kredibel, transparan dan akuntabel. Gerakkan seperti ini perlu didukung oleh para pemimpin umat yang berwawasan luas, kaum profesional dan semua umat beriman Katolik yang siap memberi pelayanan integratif terhadap kebutuhan spiritual, ekonomi, kesehatan dan pendidikan keluarga, terutamakeluarga-keluarga kecil dan lemah.

Abstract

Salah satu penyebab utama orang kecanduan narkoba dapat ditelusuri dari pola hubungan seseorang dengan ibunya. Secara emosional, para pecandu pada umumnya masih labil, belum dewasa atau matang pribadinya. Mengapa narkoba demikian ganas merasuki sendi-sendi kehidupan manusia? Narkoba berawal dari mana? Dosa siapa? Mungkinkah akar persoalan narkoba ada pada tanggung jawab keluarga? Tulisan ini mencoba menganalisis dan menjawab pertanyaan-pertanyaan sekitar narkoba.

Abstract

Keluarga merupakan akar kehidupan Gereja, masyarakat, dan bangsa manusia. Hidup keluarga merupakan suatu bentuk kehidupan yang memancarkan nuansa surgawi di bumi. Gereja Katolik telah memaknai keluarga Kristiani sebagai Gereja kecil atau Gereja rumah tangga di mana warisan iman Kristen diajarkan, dihayati dan amalkan. Salah satu ancaman terhadap posisi keluarga sebagai tempat pendidikan dan penghayatan iman ialah globalisasi, khususnya teknologi komunikasi global. Kemajuan teknologi komunikasi global membuka peluang selebar-lebarnya bagi setiap orang untuk mengakses berbagai informasi baik untuk kemajuan karier, perkembangan pribadi dan iman, ataupun sebaliknya menghambat dan menghancurkan kepribadian, iman dan harapan seseorang. Menyadari tantangan globalisasi ini, keluarga Katolik hendaknya menjadi tempat utama bagi pendidikan iman, sarana pengudusan danpenyucian hidup anak dan setiap anggota keluarga. Di dalam keluarga ini, orang tua mendidik dan menanamkan nilai-nilai iman kepada anak-anak lewat kata-kata dan teladan hidup sehari-hari.

Abstract

Keturunan merupakan karunia yang sangat diharapkan dan bahkan menjadi tujuan perkawinan itu sendiri. Akan tetapi, sebagai kelanjutan dari keturunan, magisterium Gereja menekankan pentingnya pendidikan anak. Orang tua hendaknya berusaha sekuat tenaga untuk memelihara, mendidik dan merawat anak tersebut. Dalam rangka peningkatan pendidikan anak, pemerintah telah menjalankan berbagai program keluarga berencana sebagai upaya konkrit merencanakan dan mengelola kehidupan keluarga secara bertanggungjawab sehingga setiap anggota keluarga bisa berkembang sebagai manusia seutuhnya. Bagaimana sikap dan pandangan Gereja tentang Keluarga Berencana? Artikel ini akan memberi jawaban.

Abstract

Kemajuan pesat dalam bidang teknologi yang berwujud transportasi dan komunikasi mempercepat tersebar dan berjumpanya beragam konsep, pola pikir, mentalitas, perilaku, serta nilai -nilai menembus batas-batas geografis. Keragaman ini jika tidak terolah dengan baik akan memudahkan terjadinya berbagai konflik sosial. Untuk itu sudah saatnya konsep pendidikan berwawasan multikultural dipromosikan. Dengan konsep pendidikan berwawasan multikultural diharapkan dapat mendorong tumbuhnya semangat saling pengertian, saling menghargai, saling menghormati antar anggota masyarakat demi terciptanya kehidupan bersama yang rukun dan damai. Caranya, diantaranya adalah dengan memberdayakan kelompok-kelompok atau lembaga-lembaga sosial yang ada dalam masyarakat misalnya pusat-pusat pembinaan generasi muda seperti asrama-asrama dan pondok-pondok pesantren.

Abstract

Mangunwijaya introduced humanist educational philosophy and integrality. Education, according to Mangunwijaya, must create a climate that allows the child to divide themselves into an independent person. Education should aim to deliver learners in recognizing and developing human potential itself into a whole (not just the brain, but all aspects of humanity: skilled, intelligent, piety, solidarity, capable, and responsible). An education system should be humane. That is, a system of compulsory education to respect human dignity, particularly in the person of the child. Schools should thus be understood as a division of talent and togetherness with others. Consequently, the teaching system should not be alienated from the life of the concrete. That is, not merely biased cognitive, intellectualist or mere romantic extreme, but really develop talent, art, language, manners, morals, taste, religiosity, and social life.

Abstract

Participation in politics is the rights and obligations of citizens. The Church and the Government has been providing a wide range of container construction for young people. This aims to help young people become responsible individuals, including in the exercise of their rights and obligations in the field of politics. The Second Vatican Council Decree Apostolicam Actuositatem through article 12 confirms that adults play a role built dialogue, give example and wise advice, andencourage young people to the apostolate, including in the field of politics. The outline of the research issues include: what does political and Ministry, whether politics is part of the Apostolic Church, how young people's interest and involvement in the political sphere, and how implementation of the role of adults in improving the Ministry in the field of politics for young people based on the mandate of the Decree Apostolicam Actuositatem article 12. Based on the outline of the issue, this research aims to describe the sense of politics and Ministry, describing politics as part of the Church's apostolic work, analyzing the interest and involvement of young people in the political sphere, and analyze the implementation role of adults in improving the Ministry in the field of politics for young people. The research was carried out in may 2015 in the parish of St. Cornelius Parish and Mater Dei of Madiun. The researchers used a qualitative research method. The respondents of the research consisted of six young people and four adults. The process of collecting data using the method of interview. The results showed that politics is an attempt to achieve common prosperity. And Ministry is an attempt to achieve a common prosperity based on the teachings of the Church. Politics is part of the Apostolic Church. However, young people are less interested and involved in political activities. In addition, adults have not been able to carry out their task in improving the Ministry in the field of politics for young people effectively and optimally.

Abstract

Indonesian state is a state of law. Basic constitutional state is the Pancasila and the 1945 constitutional the law is one of the institutions that are needed to anticipate that the rapid developments in the human life. In combating criminal acts that appear in people's live we need a legal product that can up hold justice and can be a means of public protector. The purpose of criminal law is to prevent people committed a crime in order to create a rule of law, as the public protector (preventive purposes) and resuscitate the criminals from committing or repeating a criminal offense. In this regart, this paper was written in order to determine the extent to which the catholic spiritual guidance to inmates in prisons class 1 Madiun can develop cognitive, affective, and psychomotor and spiritual as well as the growth and development of a strong faith in Christ. Research shows that all respondents said that the spiritual guidance of the chatolic agains chatolic inmates in prisons clas 1 madiun already paying attention and very benevical to inmates. Based on research data, all or ten (10) of respondents revealed that spiritual guidance in prisons has been done. Howere, from10 (ten) of the respondent there were 8 (eight) respondents revealed already understand and follow the activities of the chatolic spiritual formation has led to repentance, maturing faith, build churches and true salvation. Therefore, the spiritual guidance of the chatolic against chatolic inmates to keep more inmates could be implemented in order to live and to discover the identity and increasingly responsible.

Abstract

Devotion to Mary is the Church's tradition lived a practiced until today. There are various kinds of devotions to Mary such as: Rosary, Hail Mary, and litany.Besides, there are also many challenges to practice the devotion such as: deification of Mary's figure and magic. In order to guide her people, the Church published Marialis Cultus encyclic. How about opinions of Marialis Cultus encyclic on devotion to Mary? How about understanding of parishioners on content of the Marialis Cultus encyclic? How about practices of devotion to Mary in Mater Dei parish? This study uses qualitative methods. The aim of the study: firstly is to know opinions of Marialis Cultus encyclic on devotion to Mary; Secondly is to grasp understanding of parishioners of Mater Dei Parish on content of the Marialis Cultus and thirdly is to explain their practices of devotion to Mary in Mater Dei Parish. The conclusion of the research shows that most of parishioners never read the Marialis Cultus, but their understanding on devotion to Mary is related to or in line with Marialis Cultus teachings. Just few of their understanding of devotion to Mary is not in line with Marialis Cultus teaching. The research reveals that most of parishioners in Mater Dei Parish devote to Mary personally and incommunity. In the communities, they devote in various manners such as: Rosary recitation, litany, praying “angelus” especially in Mary Month and Rosary Month. In parochial level, most of parishioners say that devotion to Mary is done well but participation of parishioners should be increased. The parishioners alsoconsider that the parish should build a grotto of Mary to increase participation of parishioners in devotion to Mary.
