Abstract

The covid-19 pandemic is a serious problem that is facing the whole world. The pandemic has caused social restrictions that cause concern and stress for many people. The results of preliminary studies conducted on several breastfeeding mothers stated that during the Covid-19 pandemic, there were many mothers' concerns about continuing the process of breastfeeding babies directly. According to global data, the rate of exclusive breastfeeding is quite low, which is only 41 percent. In Indonesia itself, based on Basic Health Research data in 2018, shows that the rate of exclusive breastfeeding only reaches 30.2 percent. The number of exclusive breastfeeding rates, which are small globally and in Indonesia, has worsened with the COVID-19 pandemic. To overcome this, people need to be given health education about the importance of breastfeeding during a pandemic and explain that the COVID-19 virus is not infected through breastfeeding. This community service activity has been carried out from February to April 2021. The results of this activity have a positive impact on the community, especially on breastfeeding mothers.

Abstract

PT. Satu Enam Delapan is a company that engages in the frozen fish industry, especially tuna, and several other types of fish, through export sales. The company doesn’t catch fish directly at sea to obtain raw materials, but by buying from fishermen and traders who have become permanent fish suppliers. Furthermore, the fish raw material has a fillet process at the company by removing certain parts such as the bones, which will affect the Cost of Goods Sold. Therefore, the determination of Cost of Goods Sold here is an important point for the company and must be determined precisely, because of the many types of products and several considerations such as the routine of buying fish, the difference in the price of each kilogram for the same type of fish, and the change on fish weight due to the production process. That way the Average method used by the company and the perpetual inventory recording method is easier and more effective than other methods, recording inventory perpetually will make it easier for companies to see a fish stock through existing inventory cards, besides that it also provides convenience and effectiveness in making Cost of Goods Sold

Abstract

The Sidokare Village-Owned Enterprise (BUMDes), which was founded in 2019, has succeeded in cooperating with village PKK women who are active members and operational in 2022. During the operation, the Sidokare BUMDes did not escape several obstacles. Through the PAR (Participatory Action Research) approach with the initial mapping stages, tansek, priority ranking, historical tracing, Venn diagrams, flowcharts, problem tree analysis, and hope tree analysis. So that the problem is obtained, namely, the failure of product marketing in BUMDes. This is due to the low knowledge of BUMDes executors, namely PKK women, in managing products in terms of quality and marketing. So that the product is not in demand by the village community. As a result of these problems, it is difficult to determine the selling price, it is difficult to attract buyers, the product manufacturing process is not optimal, and product marketing cannot be comprehensive in the community sector. This service program aims to help PKK women in improving the quality and marketing of soap products, as well as help the economy of the Sidokare BUMDes. The results of the training and mentoring program for PKK women in Sidokare Village are making BUMDes administrators and PKK women enthusiastic about producing and exploring activities to produce 100 dish soaps and 60 laundry soaps. The soap products are marketed to shops and the people of Sidokare. So that the product can be recognized and purchased easily by the people of Sidokare.

Abstract

Native chickens have a good potential for production and business opportunities in intensive rearing. Rural communities that have raised native chickens traditionally have difficulties in implementing the intensive rearing method directly. Changes in society can be achieved through a program of activities resulting from social planning which is implemented in stages, systematically, and sustainably. This Community Service Program was aimed to assist rural communities in adopting the intensive rearing method of native chickens gradually. This program was focused on counseling about the management of domestic chicken rearing and the application of the Cage management system by changing the rearing of native chickens from umbaran to colony cage system on the land owned by the Kelompok Wanita Tani (KWT). Counseling was able to provide additional insight and basic knowledge regarding the intensive rearing of native chickens. The colony cages construction on KWT land was the initial stage of adopting an intensive rearing system. Through this program, KWT members also discovered several problems, which can be solved by this program or by the further implementation of this community service program.
