Abstract

This study aims to describe how the process and implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic for students at MTs Al-Washliyah Bangun Purba. This study uses a qualitative method with a case study approach. In this study, the respondents involved in this research were 2 people, consisting of the Principal and Teacher Educators who taught students. Interviews were conducted in a structured manner with several structured questions. The result is that there are many obstacles in the process and implementation of learning during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze the role of M. Natsir in Indonesian politics. In addition, to find out the role of political parties in Natsir's thinking and the impact of political parties in M. Natsir's political thought. The method used is the historical method. This method is used because to explore past data to find data that is free from prejudice, it must go through a critical analytical process and objectivity can be maintained. With this method, it can be found that Natsir's many efforts in formulating Islam as the basis of the state and his efforts to obtain justice in the development of a region. This was done of course because of the support from various groups, both civilian, military, and political parties such as the Masyumi Party and the Indonesian Socialist Party.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss public awareness in Tanjung Gusta village during the Covid-19 pandemic in complying with health protokols. Data collection techniques by means of interviews, observation and documentation. The results showed that the community was not disciplined in implementing health protokols such as not wearing masks, not maintaining distance, and lack of facilities for washing hands in public facilities. The research activity took place from July 7, 2021 to August 04, 2021, the research was carried out in Tanjung Gusta Village, Deli Serdang Regency. The efforts made to make the public aware of the importance of following the Covid-19 prevention health protokol in Tanjung Gusta Village were carried out through socialization of maintaining health during the Covid-19 pandemic, avoiding crowds and not forgetting to wear masks. Community service activities in Tanjung Gusta Village helped increase public awareness for healthy living by wearing masks, reducing activities outside the home, avoiding touching crowds, and using hand sanitizer.

Abstract

Artikel ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan moderasi umat beragama pada masyarakat di desa Pematang Kuala. Moderasi umat beragama masa pandemi Covid-19 sangat penting bagi masyarakat desa Pematang Kuala. Mayoritas agama yang dimiliki masyarakat di desa tersebut Islam dan Kristen, di desa ini terdapat 12 suku yang berbeda-beda yang terdapat di desa tersebut. Adapun metode yang digunakan yaitu pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif dengan observasi langsung dan hasil wawancara. Hasil dari penelitian ini akan menunjukkan upaya dari pemerintah desa, tokoh pemuka agama serta masyarakat setempat untuk dapat meningkatkan moderasi umat beragama di desa tersebut dengan mencari solusi untuk mencegah adanya konflik dan perpecahan di masyarakat di masa pandemi saat ini, sehingga dengan saling bertoleransi antar umat beragama akan tercapai hubungan yang rukun dan damai antara umat beragama di desa Pematang Kuala.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to look at how discipline, work motivation, and organizational commitment affect the performance of STAI Samora Pematangsiantar lecturers, either partially or concurrently. This study employs the dissemination of questionnaires as well as a quantitative method to research. Multiple linear regression analysis was utilized, as well as hypothesis testing (F-test, t-test, and coefficient of determination) (R2). In this study, 49 lecturers were used as a sample. The information in this study is based on primary sources. A questionnaire was used to gather information. The F-test was employed in conjunction with the t-test to test the hypothesis. The findings of the t-test of work discipline style have a significant impact on lecturer performance, motivation, and organizational commitment. Meanwhile, the F-test results, discipline and job motivation, as well as organizational commitment, all have an impact on lecturers' performance. According to the Coefficient of Determination (R2), X1, X2, and X3 account for 57.4% of the lecturer's performance, with the remaining 42.6 percent impacted by other variables.

Abstract

Museum is one of the institutions that store historical objects in the past which is intended to be exhibited to the general public. In general, the arrangement of exhibitions in museums is a part of the museum curator historiography who has its specific purpose. In addition, this study is intended to find out how the historiography is displayed in Museum Dirgantara Mandala Yogyakarta. Therefore, as an inductive reasoning study, it used methods of collecting data such as field observations, interviews and literature studies. In this case, observation and interviews are used to find out the primary data of this study. Finally, this study found that the historiography of the chronological room in Museum Dirgantara Mandala Yogyakarta is a part of nationalistic historiography, which its exhibition system mostly explained the greatness of the struggles events and the heroes itself.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the area of ethnic segregation in the city of Medan. Ethnic segregation  is a concentration area where ethnic groups live based on similar backgrounds. This paper uses descriptive qualitative research methods with a case study approach. Data collection through literature study methods, interviews, and participatory observations. In the city of Medan although many ethnicities mingle but in terms of the area of residence still tend to be compartmentalized in similar ethnic concentration areas. In the concept of a plural and plural city system such as Medan such ethnic living conditions  are considered less conducive. It should be in the plural and plural urban layout of each ethnicity that exists mingled by not expressing the symbols and background of the ethnicity. Thus creating a truly plural and plural social system in a complex social system.

Abstract

This article aims to discuss religious harmony in Dalan Lindang village, Mandailing Natal Regency. Data was collected by means of participatory observation, and secondary data. The results of this study indicate that multicultural life requires understanding and awareness of multiculturalism, religion and others that respects differences, pluralism and willingness to interact with anyone fairly. It requires an attitude of religious moderation in the form of acknowledging the existence of other parties, having a tolerant attitude, respect for differences of opinion and not forcing one's will by means of violence. The role of the government, community leaders, and religious instructors is needed to socialize, develop religious moderation to the community for the realization of harmony and peace.

Abstract

Pandemi COVID-19 berdampak besar pada banyak bidang kehidupan. Perubahan sosial yang sporadis (perubahan yang tiba-tiba dan tidak merata) dan keberadaannya tidak diinginkan oleh masyarakat. Kondisi publik yang tidak siap menerima perubahan akibat pandemi tentu bisa menggoyahkan  Nilai dan norma sosial yang dikembangkan dan dianut oleh masyarakat, khususnya masyarakat Desa Belawan Sicanang, Medan Belawan, Sumatera Utara. Sejauh ini, pandemi berdampak signifikan terhadap situasi ekonomi masyarakat. Banyak masyarakat yang merintih dan aktivitasnya terhenti akibat pandemi.Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dampak pandemi COVID-19 terhadap perekonomian masyarakat pedesaan. Metodologi penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah studi pustaka dengan pendekatan analisis deskriptif. Alat penelitian menggunakan pedoman wawancara dan alat perekam yang digunakan saat wawancara, buku, dan alat tulis. Data hasil wawancara dianalisis sesuai dengan topik yang ditemukan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa perilaku masyarakat di desa ini sebagian besar tidak percaya akan adanya virus COVID-19 dan menolak  masker yang dibagikan oleh mahasiswa KKN DR 17.

Abstract

This research is based on the findings of problems in historical learning conducted by blended learning in class XII at SMA Negeri 16 Medan during the Covid-19 pandemic. This research also aims to describe the challenges of teaching and learning through blended learning during historical learning in class XII at SMA Negeri 16 Medan. This type of research is qualitative research through a descriptive approach. The results of the study illustrate the challenges experienced by educators and learners. The challenges of educators are teachers lacking knowledge in blended learning, difficulty in providing assessments on blended learning, ineffective learning time, educators' ability to use gadgets, limited facilities and infrastructure, while the problems felt by students are difficulty in adjusting, lack of interest in learners when learning blended learning, learners' learning achievements are low, some learners cannot afford internet packages and have difficulty in accessing the internet network.
