Abstract

Selecting the appropriate medication is crucial for ensuring optimal therapeutic outcomes and minimizing adverse effects for patients. Healthcare personnel are managing an increasing volume of medical data in the digital era. Identifying swift, precise, and dependable methods for recommending appropriate medications is becoming essential. This study aims to meet this criterion by classifying drugs into appropriate categories for patient care using the Support Vector Machine (SVM) technology. The research utilized a dataset from GitHub comprising 200 patient records. These records furnish critical information regarding the patient, including age, sex, blood pressure, cholesterol levels, sodium-to-potassium ratios, and prescriptions. To maximize the use of this data, the method entails several critical steps: selecting appropriate data, meticulously cleaning and organizing it, transforming it for analytical readiness, employing SVM for data mining, and conducting a comprehensive review. The dataset is divided into two segments which are 20% is allocated for testing the efficacy of the SVM model, while the remaining 80% is designated for training the model. The primary tool for constructing the SVM model is the Google Colaboratory platform, which utilizes Python. A confusion matrix is employed to meticulously evaluate the performance of a model. It provides valuable metrics such as accuracy, precision, recall, and the F1 score. The evaluation method indicates that the SVM model holds significant potential for systematically assessing patient data due to its capability to appropriately categorize various drug types. Abstract

Sustainability has emerged as a fundamental objective for organizations aiming to achieve the highest levels of maturity within various IT Governance Frameworks. Green IT has emerged as a concept aligned with the essence of organizational sustainability. Its primary challenge lies in the difficulty of integrating Green IT principles into the organization's business processes. Therefore, the framework employed plays a crucial role in facilitating the adoption of Green IT. This Systematic Literature Review uses Kitchenham to review various literature on the topic of Green IT adoption in organizations with a focus on their role in supporting sustainable behaviors. The review process shows the three primary frameworks, namely the Governance and Management Framework for Green IT (GMGIT), the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology 2 (UTAUT2), and the Green IT Maturity Model. The analysis indicates that these frameworks are primarily employed in the IT services and manufacturing sectors, highlighting their effectiveness in addressing environmental sustainability, carbon emissions, and energy consumption. Gaps remain, especially in the government sector, where Green IT principles are underexplored. The research identifies challenges in executing these frameworks, specifically the tendency to favor short-term adoption strategies over long-term sustainability objectives. To enhance the success of Green IT adoption, firms at maturity levels 1-3 must initially evaluate their preparedness prior to fully integrating Green IT principles into their business processes. This study provides comprehensive insights into the frameworks utilized for Green IT adoption, including substantial recommendations for future research and practical applications in emerging domains.

Abstract

Continuation intention refers to the user's desire to continue using a service or application in the long term after their initial experience. In the context of mobile banking applications, continuance intention is very important to maintain and increase the number of active users, as well as maintain customer loyalty. Although mobile banking can facilitate financial transactions, there are still complaints from users with many negative reviews on the Play Store and App Store regarding the problematic OTP verification and delivery process. This study aims to identify variables that influence the continuance intention to use mobile banking. This study uses the ECM research method to examine the factors that influence the intention to continue using mobile banking. This study tested nine hypotheses, with the results of seven hypotheses accepted and two hypotheses rejected, namely the relationship between trust → satisfaction with a t-test result of 0.755 and confirmation → satisfaction with a t-test result of 0.351. It is expected that the results of this study can provide recommendations to mobile banking parties to improve services and increase user satisfaction, thereby maintaining the loyalty of mobile banking users. In addition, this study can be a reference for quantitative research in the field of mobile banking and contribute to the development of strategies and policies to improve user experience.

Abstract

This study aims to develop an automatic news text classification system using the K-Nearest Neighbor (KNN) algorithm with a hyperparameter tuning approach. Manual classification by editors is considered inefficient, so an accurate and lightweight automated approach is needed. News datasets were obtained through web scraping of bbc.com sites with five main categories, namely business, technology, entertainment, science, and health. This research follows the CRISP-DM methodology which consists of six stages: business understanding, data understanding, data preparation, modeling, evaluation, and deployment. Feature representation is done using TF-IDF and preprocessing includes stopword removal as well as pattern-based noise cleaning. Two experimental scenarios were performed: first, using complete data without balancing; Second, using more balanced undersampling data. Hyperparameter tuning was performed with k-value variations from 1 to 50 and validated with 5-fold cross-validation. The results showed that the model with balanced data and a value of k=11 produced an accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score of 95%. The system was also successfully implemented into a Flask-based web application that can be used by news editors for real-time text classification. This study emphasizes the importance of parameter optimization and preprocessing in text classification and shows that simple algorithms such as KNN remain competitive if supported by good data processing.
