Abstract

This study describes parents' involvement in introducing science to children with down syndrome. This study used a qualitative approach. The research participants were 6 parents with Down syndrome children at 4-8 years old. The purposive sampling method was used to involve the participants. Data were collected through semi-structured online interviews. Analysis of the data in this study using Miles and Huberman. The results of this study show how parents introduce science activities by introducing science activities using simple methods, the media used by utilizing household appliances and objects in the surrounding environment. Parents consider science activities essential to be introduced to children. However, parents face challenges because children are difficult to manage, do not easily focus, and are easily bored.

Abstract

The reason for the research at TK Dharma Wanita Saringembat, this institution has a public relations management and has a quality education marketing strategy every year to attract users of educational services. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Methods of data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of this study include: (1) the role of public relations management includes: a) making institutional programs b) helping to publish institutional programs c) being a mediator between school institutions and the community. (2) Public relations strategies in increasing the promotion of new student admissions include: planning stages a) creating a PPDB team b) determining the place, time, and cost c) selecting promotional media. Implementation stages a) establish cooperation or MOU b) distribution of brochures and pamphlets c) installation of banners d) apply social media. Evaluation stages a) holding an evaluation meeting according to a predetermined schedule 2) evaluating social media and PPDB programs that are less effective. (3) the constraints of public relations in improving the quality of promotion of new student admissions a) lack of admin staff b) the lack of social media applications owned.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the pattern of parental guidance at home in developing the ability to recognize number symbols in early childhood BDR. This type of research is descriptive qualitative research. The data collection technique was through interviews with 10 parents with early childhood, as well as observations made on the entire process of parental maturation during BDR. The results of the study describe the pattern of parental tutoring carried out through 3 stages, namely 1) directing and making agreements with children in the form of gifts (rewards) and giving punishment (punishment), 2) monitoring of practices related to the tutoring process carried out by parents, namely using 4 types of activities, namely activities of imitating, connecting and bolding number symbols, using number symbol posters and using videos learning YouTube  and games on smartphones, 3) correction of parents seeing obstacles/obstacles encountered during the learning process and solutions to overcome them as well as evaluating and not continuing. Parents have very diverse patterns and are very influential on the development of children's number symbols.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to produce a valid interactive media prototype for instilling Pancasila values ​​in early childhood. This type of research is R&D with the Borg and Gall model with procedures for needs analysis, prototype design, development, and evaluation of implementation. Evaluation technique used with Tessmer evaluation. The data collection technique used a walkthrough which was assessed by the media validator and material validator. Based on the results of research from experts, namely material experts and media design experts with very valid categories with a feasibility percentage of 92.3% and 99.99% respectively, so that the product is valid in terms of visual media, audio media, aspects of typography, aspects of language, aspects of programming, aspects of presentation and feasibility of the content of Pancasila values. From the results of this study, interactive media for instilling Pancasila values ​​in early childhood is valid to be used and utilized by teachers and parents

Abstract

The development of quality Indonesian human resources is strongly influenced by the success of early childhood education. Problems in the field of law today require solving strategies from various fields. Early childhood education is a very important field in participating in solving legal problems in Indonesia. This writing provides an overview of how early childhood education plays a role in building the world of law in the future. The writing method used is literature study supported by various kinds of discussions in the form of focus group discussions and national seminars. The philosophy of Pancasila which continues to be studied and practiced by teachers in the early childhood environment will foster awareness of a quality nation that can be proud of in the global arena. This is because education does not only develop the potential of senses and logic for all involved in it but also develops the potential of conscience, instinct, intuition and imagination.

Abstract

This research is motivated because by the low recognition of the concepts of number in children aged 5-6 years. The research objective is to determine the effect of loose parts play on the introdution of the concepts of number for children aged 5-6 years. This type of research uses a quasy experimental. The average result of the pre-test eksperimental class: 17,7 and post-test: 23,1. While the pre-test control class:18,6 and post-test: 22,1. For the difference in the average result of the experimental class is 5,4 and the control class is 3,5. The research as conducted for 4 weeks. The research was carried out in two classes, class B1 experimen and B2 the control class. On the hypothesis test with an independent sample t-test the sig (2-tailed) of 0,06 is less than 0,05 has an effect of 1,4. Therefore, it can be concluded that the use of loose parts play activities for the introduction of the concepts of number for children aged 5-6 years is very effective in being used in Mutiara Ceria West Pasaman.

Abstract

Sibling rivarly is a competitive behavior between siblings that can cause jealousy in children, in overcoming it, parents must have basic knowledge about this behavior, so this study aims to describe how parents' pola asuhes in dealing with sibling rivarly behavior. This research is a type of qualitative-descriptive research based on post-positivism philosophy, with research subjects of three families having two or more children with an age limit of 0-6 years. Based on the results of this study, of the 3 subjects, there were 2 families who had the same handling strategy, namely from the start they had instilled knowledge to always get along with fellow siblings, to be fair, not to compare children but there was also one subject that needed to be improved in using pola asuhes to deal with behavior sibling rivarly.

Abstract

Based on the research, the problem is focused on how children's cognitive development and children's emotional development through the provision of stimuli with motion and song methods in children aged 5 years. The goal is, to find out the extent of development that occurs in children, especially in the cognitive and emotional aspects when using motion and song methods. The method used by the researcher is a phenomenological study based on events that occur in the field. The results of the research conducted found that the cognitive and emotional development of children was well stimulated using the motion and song methods applied to children. In addition, it also has a positive impact on other children's development such as language, social, artistic, kinesthetic, creativity, imagination, physical aspects as well as having an impact on body health which makes children more active and energetic.

Abstract

The Sundanese indigenous people are famous for their cultural wisdom, namely pamali. Pamali as a typical Sundanese cultural product has a conditional meaning for children's development that needs to be continuously explored. This study aims to analyze the existence and moral development contained in the pamali of the Sundanese indigenous people in early childhood. This type of research is a systematic review of 20 journals with related criteria using qualitative methods. through the syntax, in literature, there are five traditional villages and two Sundanese villages that still apply pamali as part of the order of life and rules that have been passed down from generation to generation. Each of these pamali contains moral values ​​such as discipline, humility, care for the environment, and politeness which are reflected in the sentence of pamali. In line with Kohlberg's moral development, early childhood is included in the level 1 category, namely pre-conventional morality. The implications for children can be seen from how they can know when the taboos are through an understanding of taboos so it is hoped that this will foster an attitude of obedience to the rules that surround them to strengthen their knowledge of the cultural values ​​of the area.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) implementation of the children's wooden piggy bank program, (2) Obstacles faced and, (3) Suggested solutions This research is qualitative in nature with strategic case studies. The research location is Raudhatul Athfal (RA) Al Ghozali Porong Sidoarjo. Research subjects; Children, Principals, Teachers, and Parents. Collecting research data by means of; observations, interviews, documents, and audiovisual materials. After the data has been collected, data analysis is carried out by means of data condensation, data display, and conclusions drawing. The results of the study: (1) The application of the wooden piggy bank program is carried out every 15 (fifteen) first minutes of class entry or during recess. The wooden piggy bank program is a program to strengthen the character of independence, especially the character of frugal living (2) Constraints faced; there are economic limitations so that no one brings money, lack of awareness and knowledge of parents to routinely carry money that will run out (4) Solutions; teachers need support and patience to create a pleasant saving atmosphere, parents need support to regularly bring money to save according to ability
