Abstract

To April 2021, COVID-19 cases in Indonesia reaches 1.668.368 with the death cases are 45.334. The increasing death cases due to COVID-19 worldwide and the presence of 14 employess exposed to COVID-19 in the project area specifically encouraged this study. This study aims to observe the relationship between individual factors and the risk perception againts COVID-19 among the employess in LRT Project PT X during April-May 2021. The results revealed that based on the individual factors, the composition of the respondents are 83,3% of male, aged 20–30 years old (56,7%), hold a bachelor degree (58,3%), have not infected with COVID-19 (88,3%), and do not have a chronic disease (100%). Overall, the risk perception of the respondents is relatively high (51,7%; n=62), and as much as 48,3% (n=58) of respondents have low risk perception against COVID-19. The result of the risk perception analysis showed that the factor of age has a significant relationship with the level of risk perception, level of knowledge, potential impact, readiness and self-efficacy, fear, severity, and voluntary of risk. The factor of gender is significantly related to readiness and self-efficacy, novelty, and severity. The education level is known to have a significant relationship with the entire variabels of risk perception. However, the factor of COVID-19 infected history is significantly related to the knowledge level, control over risk, and novelty. The health status of the respondents has a constant value because no respondent has a chronic disease so its relationship to other variables cannot be statistically made.   Keywords         : Age, COVID-19, Individual Factors, LRT Project, Risk Perception

Abstract

Malnutrition  is experienced by children in Indonesia due to inadequate nutritional intake and the presence of infectious diseases and a combination of both. These problems affect the level of intelligence, increase in infectious diseases and morbidity and mortality. Malnutrition that occurs in Magepanda District is caused by socioeconomic disparities, geographic conditions, suboptimal feeding, food insecurity, maternal knowledge, parenting patterns, lack of cross-sectoral cooperation, maternal age and maternal education. Preliminary studies found that young mothers used to eat unhealthy snacks for their children and believed that poor nutrition was not harmful to their children's health. Regarding parenting, mothers prefer to leave their children to be cared for by their parents because they are busy working in the fields and some migrate to other areas, besides that, mother-in-law dominates in daily food arrangements. This study aims to determine the effectiveness of training on the use of local food using the PIS-PK method to improve the nutritional status of children under five. Methods: The research method used was pre-experimental with one group pretest and posttest design. The research subjects consisted of 1 group, namely the intervention group without the control group. The intervention group was given training using the PIS-PK approach. Assessment in the intervention group was carried out before and after training (pretest and posttest). The results of the study obtained a sig value of 0.000 which is smaller than 0.05, meaning that there is an influence between training on the use of local food and the PIS-PK method on improving the nutritional status of children under five. Conclusion: that training on the use of local food using the PIS-PK method has a positive impact because it can increase body weight and nutritional status of toddlers. Abstract

As of February 2022, COVID-19 has spread to 227 countries, including Indonesia with 4,516,480 positive confirmed cases where the island of Java is still in the top rank for active COVID-19 cases. Various policies have been implemented by the Government of Indonesia to prevent and control the transmission of COVID-19 by implementing and accelerating vaccinations as well as the imposition of Level 1-4 Restrictions on Community Activities in various parts of Indonesia by taking into account the life and economic factors of the community. This study was carried out to see the fulfillment of health service facilities (hospitals, health centers and laboratories) as workplaces for the implementation of prevention and control of COVID-19 in Bengkulu Province based on KMK No 413 and No 327 of 2020. The study was carried out using a cross sectional survey method, observation, interviews and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) which includes 7 (seven) health service facilities, namely Class B Hospital, Class C Hospital, Outpatient Health Center, Inpatient Health Center and Health Laboratory. From the result of the study, it can be seen that it is still necessary to carry out socialization, continuous improvement as an effort to prevent and control COVID-19 in health care facilities which includes top management commitment, socialization, establishment of systems in health care facilities, application of established systems to periodic evaluations for the continuity of the process so that it is expected to minimize the transmission rate of COVID-19 at the health service facility in particular and the community in general, even in Indonesia.   Keyword: Bengkulu, COVID-19, healthcare facilities,  healthcare workers, control of COVID-19

Abstract

The World Health Organization (WHO) on March 9, 2020, has determined the status of the COVID-19 corona virus outbreak as a global pandemic. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the construction sector operates 100% without restrictions. This causes workers in the construction sector not only to have a profound effect on physical health but also mental health. According to WHO, fear and anxiety about COVID-19 disease and other factors can affect work stress (WHO, 2020). This research method uses the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews & Meta-Analysis (PRISMA) method which discusses construction and psychosocial factors in the construction sector. The factors found to be the most dominant in the literature review were stress and fatigue, family-work conflict, interpersonal relationships, work demands, work organization (job control), and working hours. Stress and fatigue can be both factors and effects that affect the state and performance of workers. These factors arise because the construction business process is so dense and has targets that must be pursued every time and demands from high management during the COVID-19 pandemic. During the Pandemic, the timeline changes and the pressure on their workers is to the point where they must pawn the safety of the workers to meet the predetermined time limit as if this was done under normal circumstances.   Keyword          : Risk Factors, Construction Sector, Psychosocial Factors, COVID-19 Pandemic
