Abstract

This research examines the grammatical and semantic aspects of particles in the novel of Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The purpose of this research is to describe the grammatical and semantic aspects of the particles pun in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The approach in this research uses a qualitative approach. The researchers obtained 30 sentences that contain particles pun in the novel Rentang Kisah by Gita Savitri Devi. The research result, namely: grammatical aspects of 19 findings include, (1) conjunction 15 data (50%), and (2) parallelism 4 data (13.33%). Semantic aspects as many as 11 findings include, (1) the relationship between the additive in terms of time 4 data (13.33%), (2) the additive relationship that is not related to time 2 data (6.67%), and (3) the contention relationship 5 data (16.67%).

Abstract

This study aims to explain and analyze the segmentation of syllables and phonemes in command sentences using phonological studies. This research uses descriptive quantitative method. The data collection technique used was the analysis of data interpretation and the data source used came from an informant who then segmented the voice of the informant using the PRAAT application. The six data discussed in this study are: (1) images of the annotation results of sound segmentation using the PRAAT application, (2) the number of words, syllables, and syllable patterns in each sentence, (3) description of the number of phonemes in each sentence, (4) sentence duration , (5) the whole syllable, and (6) the whole phoneme. The results of this study indicate that a sentence can be analyzed and segmented using technology-based applications, from this analysis can be seen the duration, syllable, phonemes, and words. Segmentsai analysis is carried out in accordance with what the informant pronounces, so that the sound produced by the informant must be clear.

Abstract

Implicature is an implied meaning of speech that is conveyed indirectly by the speaker to the speech partner. This study aims to describe the conversational implications of herbal medicine traders in Prenduan traditional markets, Madura. This research used a pragmatic theoretical approach (implicature) and a descriptive qualitative methodological approach. The data collection technique of this study used the technique of listening, taking notes, and recording. The data analysis technique classified conversational implicatures based on the pragmatic theory approach. The results of the data analysis indicated that there were conversational implicature in the conversations of herbal medicine traders in Prenduan traditional market. Conversational implicatures are used, namely: prohibition, approval, refuse, command, request, assure, complaint, and report.

Abstract

In its role, the media is the conveyor of information through discourses that will influence the perception of the masses. The presentation of a news cannot be separated from the ideology of the media and media journalists. The choice of words used by journalists in a text shows how one's meaning of facts or reality is based on ideology. Critical discourse analysis is always interesting to study more deeply. Discourse by Van Dijk is described as having three dimensions or structures: text, social cognition, and social context. This study aims to describe the analysis of Van Dijk discourse in the text dimension of the news on the prohibition of going home in the media Tempo.com and Kompas.com. The approach used in this research is descriptive qualitative with note-taking techniques and Teun A. Van Dijk's discourse analysis techniques. The results showed three structures of the news text. The macro structure shows differences in global coherence, the first news is about the negative impact of policies while the second news is policy considerations. The superstructure consists of summaries and stories based on selected perspectives from global coherence. While in the micro structure there are semantic, syntactic, stylistic and rhetorical studies, the four studies also display the meaning of the background, details, intentions, presuppositions, and sentence building that supports the perspective of each news.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the use of effective sentences in scientific essay assignments in general subjects D-3 programme at Baja Tegal Polytechnic regarding the use of effective sentences. Research method uses in this research is qualitative. Based on the analysis in the research essay of D3 programme Polytechnic Baja Tegal Semester III, several errors were found in writing sentences. These mistakes result in ineffectiveness in the sentence so that the reader finds it difficult to understand the writing. The manifestation of the error is the use of excessive words that make the ineffective sentence. Also, choosing words that are not right for sentences such as conjunctions and prepositions that make ineffective sentence.

Abstract

This article is part of a research on Indonesian literature in East Java which is studied from the perspective of local psychology. This study aims to explore local Javanese women in Indonesian literature. The research method used in this research is qualitative which leads to literature. The data collection technique was carried out in a documentative manner. The data analysis technique was carried out through the stages of identification, sorting, and exposure. The results showed that local Javanese women appeared in two segmentations, namely (1) Javanese local women as mother figures, having empathetic and patient behavior and (2) Javanese local women as child figures who had filial and patient behavior. This research shows that the local psychology of Javanese women that appears in literature leads to the psychology of eastern women which tends to strengthen intuition and ethical psychology.

Abstract

Language is a communication tool that is usually used by people to work together and interact. Language variation is closely related to language and society. This research on language variations that occur on Twitter social media aims to find out how the meaning of language variations in Twitter social media. There are two languages ​​studied, namely (1) slang whose data is taken from the @Ivanasha, @usaiusulhh, and @aldapstsr accounts, and (2) Javanese whose data is taken from the @nksthi account. This research uses a qualitative approach, with descriptive analysis method. This study collects non-interactively data. The source of the data is humans who work as subjects or key informants. The research is sociolinguistic studies. This study was chosen because this study looks at the use of language that includes language variation.

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh meningkatnya kebutuhan dan kurangnya pengetahuan pembuatan media pembelajaran selama pandemi. Adapun penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan prosedur penggunaan record slide show PowerPoint sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran audio visual pada pascapandemi. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian deskriptif kualitatif. Metode pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dengan teknik dokumentasi yaitu mendokumentasikan prosedur penggunaan record slide show PowerPoint sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran audio visual. Hasil penelitian ini adalah prosedur penggunaan record slide show PowerPoint sebagai alternatif media pembelajaran audio visual pada pascapandemi memiliki beberapa tahapan. Tahapan tersebut meliputi 1) perencanaan, 2) pembuatan, dan 3) publikasi.

Abstract

Evaluasi pembelajaran yaitu proses pengukuran dan penilaian terhadap kegiatan pembelajaran, dalam hal ini guru mengukur dan menilai siswa dengan menggunakan instrumen tes. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memaparkan hasil dari evaluasi pembelajaran daring menggunakan instrumen tes objektif dan uraian. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode deskriptif. Sumber data dalam penelitian ini yaitu siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan dilakukan dengan observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisa kualitatif yakni reduksi data, penyajian data, dan verifikasi/ penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis data dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa implementasi penggunaan tes dalam evaluasi pembelajaran daring pada siswa kelas VII di SMP Negeri 1 Tlanakan adalah lebih dominan efektif menggunakan tes uraian. Hal tersebut dikarenakan dengan menggunakan tes uraian siswa lebih mudah menjawab dan mengembangkan pengetahuannya dengan nalar mereka sendiri. Adapun kendala siswa dalam mengimplementasikan tes objektif dan uraian secara daring ada tiga, yaitu (1) kendala dari segi pengerjaan soal, hal itu disebabkan ketidakpahaman siswa dalam pembelajarn daring, (2) kendala jarak pada saat pelaksanaan, siswa tidak bisa menanyakan pertanyaan yang tidak dimengerti secara langsung kepada guru, dan (3) kendala jaringan atau koneksi internet bagi siswa yang berdomisili di daerah pelosok.

Abstract

Pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia menjadi induk ilmu pengetahuan, sehingga harus dilakssiswaan berorientasi pada pada pembentukan kemampuan berbahasa dan keilmuan lain. Keberhasilan pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia tidak lepas dari peran guru dalam kegiatan mengajar dalam mengembangkan potensi siswa agar kognitif dan afektifnya berkembang. Pembelajaran bahasa salah satunya dikembangkan melalui pembelajaran yang bermartabat yang mencerminkan adanya nilai – nilai dan norma budaya. Nilai dan budaya dapat diajarkan dengan menintegrasikan aspek afektif pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia dengan memanfaatkan teks bermuata budaya daerah yang ada di sekitar siswa. Pemanfaatan teks bermuatan kearifan lokal berfungsi untuk mengenalkan budaya daerah agar dapat dilestarikan dan mengembangkan karakter peduli dan bangga pada warisan leluhur. Berbagai macam teks bermuatan kearifan lokal seperti teks bertema kesenian, adat istiadat, kegiatan gotong royong, makanan tradisional dan budaya daerah lainnya
