Abstract

The millennial generation in Indonesia is particularly fond of skincare products like Npure. In order to better understand how marketing and branding strategies influence consumers' decisions to buy Npure skincare products, this study aims to clarify the role that purchase intention plays in this process. One hundred residents of DKI Jakarta were chosen as research samples for this study using a purposive sampling approach. In this study, data was gathered using online surveys that were analysed using SmartPLS software and the PLS-SEM technique. This study found that the marketing approach for Npure skincare products increased interest in purchasing these items. Branding methods have a detrimental effect on consumers' decisions to buy Npure skincare products, according to this study. In addition, the study's findings show that marketing tactics have a stronger impact on consumers' decisions to purchase Npure skincare products when purchase interest acts as a positive moderator. Similarly, with Npure skincare goods, the presence of purchase interest can fully mitigate the impact of branding techniques on consumers' inclinations to buy

Abstract

This study examines corporate tax obligations influenced by tax management, tax regulations, and tax literacy, with tax restitution as a mediating variable supported by Tax Compliance Theory and Behavioral Tax Theory. This study uses a quantitative research approach that specifically adopts a causal research design (explanatory), which explains how the diversity of independent and mediating variables affects corporate taxpayer compliance at the Jakarta Tebet Pratama Tax Office so that it can provide a strong framework for empirical analysis. Data were obtained through a questionnaire scale of 1 - 5. The population in this study refers to all corporate taxpayers registered at the Jakarta Tebet Pratama Tax Office (Kantor Pelayanan Pajak/KPP), totaling 14,845 taxpayers. Sampling was carried out using proportional random sampling so that a sample of at least 374 corporate taxpayers could be obtained as a unit of analysis. Data analysis used descriptive and inferential analysis using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The empirical research results prove that tax management, tax regulations, and tax literacy, with tax restitution as a mediator, can positively and significantly influence corporate tax obligations. These results provide substantive implications that in order to improve taxpayer compliance, attention needs to be given not only to improving tax literacy, tax system management, and clarity of tax rules but also to taxpayer experience in the tax restitution process. A transparent, fast, and fair restitution process can strengthen the relationship between these factors and tax compliance. In this case, a comprehensive and taxpayer-oriented tax policy can potentially increase state revenues by increasing taxpayer compliance (individuals and corporations).

Abstract

This study explores the influence of financial performance, governance, and managerial ownership on dividend policy in companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The main issue addressed is the ongoing controversy in the literature regarding how these factors affect Dividend Yield, given the inconsistencies in previous research. The study aims to examine the role of Retained Earnings, Return on Assets, the Board of Directors, Independent Commissioners, Managerial Ownership, and company size in shaping dividend policy. A quantitative approach is employed, using a regression method to analyse panel data from 400 companies over the period 2018–2022. The results indicate that Retained Earnings, Independent Commissioners, and Managerial Ownership have a significant impact on Dividend Yield, whereas Return on Assets, the Board of Directors, and Total Assets do not. The findings highlight the crucial role of strong governance in dividend policy, while Return on Assets, the Board of Directors, and firm size measured by Total Assets do not exhibit a significant effect. This study underscores the need for effective governance to minimize conflicts of interest and emphasizes the importance of considering local contexts when formulating dividend policies in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of Green Human Resource Management (GHRM) on Environmental Performance (EP) with the mediation role of Organizational Citizenship Behavior for the Environment (OCBE). The study was conducted at PT. Merah Putih, a manufacturing company in Indonesia, involving 241 respondents. The results showed that GHRM had a significant effect on EP, both directly and through increasing OCBE as a partial mediator. OCBE contributed to strengthening the impact of GHRM policies on EP, where employee pro-environmental behavior, such as energy saving and waste management, supported the company's operational efficiency. These findings emphasize the importance of a holistic approach in implementing GHRM to encourage employee pro-environmental behavior and improve the company's environmental performance. The study provides recommendations for companies to strengthen environmental training programs, increase employee involvement in sustainability initiatives, and evaluate the effectiveness of GHRM policies periodically.

Abstract

Community-based tourism development in Indonesia, especially in villages that have great natural and cultural potential, still faces challenges in increasing community participation and sustainable management. This study aims to analyse sustainable human resource development strategies in tourism objects in Klaisu Village, Jayapura Regency. This research uses a qualitative approach with a purposive sampling method to select 11 informants who are community leaders of Klaisu Village, who have direct experience in tourism and natural resource management. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation analysis. The results showed that although Klaisu Village has great tourism potential, such as agricultural products and natural beauty, community participation in tourism management is still low. Sustainable human resource development through training and community empowerment, as well as collaboration with external parties, are the main keys in overcoming this challenge. In addition, marketing issues, financial issues, and social issues are also inhibiting factors in the management of sustainable tourism destinations. The implication of this research is the need to increase community capacity in tourism management and strengthen cooperation with various parties to realise economic, social and cultural sustainability in Klaisu Village.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of cost information and process selection on total costs in sustainable new product design. This study uses an experimental design with the research objective to evaluate how these two variables contribute to cost efficiency and greener product innovation. To achieve this goal, students of the Accounting Study Program from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Muhammadiyah Yogyakarta as a substitute for professional designers in the development of new products were asked to fill out a questionnaire to evaluate their design choices, consider the sustainability aspects, and identify the challenges they faced during the process. The interaction effect was also assessed to review the correlation effect of these factors on sustainable product design, with the results showing that the interaction effect of the two variables has a significant impact on the total cost, supporting the hypothesis that the combination of these two factors is important in creating cost efficiency in sustainable product development

Abstract

To compete, the banking industry needs to make various innovations, one of which is re-branding its brand. This study aims to investigate the effect of the rebranding strategy conducted by KB Bukopin on customer satisfaction and performance. The quantitative method was used, involving 187 respondents in the Jabodetabek area who were customers of KB Bank. The population of this research is KB Bank customers. The results showed that band personality and brand elements affect performance and satisfaction, while brand identity only has a positive effect on brand performance. The band name has no effect on satisfaction and performance. Satisfaction affects trust but has no effect on performance. Trust was also found to have no effect on performance in this context. This research successfully adds to the literature on brand strategy theory. The managerial implications of KB Bank's rebranding suggest that changing name, personality, and brand elements will directly improve satisfaction and performance.

Abstract

The development of m-Health technology in Indonesia faces significant challenges related to adoption and usage among the public. In this context, this study aims to analyze the influence of perceived ease of use on continuance usage intention, with user experience and satisfaction as mediating variables. The research method employed is a survey using a questionnaire distributed to 337 users of the Pramita Mobile application in several major cities. The analysis results using Partial Least Squares (PLS) indicate that perceived ease of use has a significant positive effect on user experience and satisfaction. Furthermore, both variables also contribute positively to continuity usage intention. This study finds that user experience and satisfaction function as mediators linking perceived ease of use with continuance usage intention. The conclusion emphasizes the importance of enhancing the ease of use of applications to improve user experience and satisfaction. Thus, strategies focusing on increasing usability will be beneficial for encouraging the adoption and continued use of m-Health applications in Indonesia, thereby providing greater health benefits to the community. This research offers valuable insights for application developers in creating more effective and user-friendly solutions
