Abstract

This study aims to analyze the influence of financial literacy, digital payment usage, and self-control on shopping habits. Data were collected through questionnaires distributed to respondents and analyzed using path analysis with SmartPLS. The results indicate that financial literacy and self-control have a negative and significant effect on shopping habits, while digital payment usage has a positive and significant influence. The financial literacy coefficient of -0.122 and self-control coefficient of -0.113 suggest that an increase in these variables reduces shopping habits. Conversely, digital payment usage, with a coefficient of 0.546, shows that the more frequently digital payments are used, the higher the individual's shopping habits. These findings highlight the crucial role of financial literacy and self-control in curbing consumer behavior, while the convenience of digital transactions tends to increase shopping frequency. This study contributes to the development of financial education strategies and consumer behavior management in the digital era.

Abstract

This research aims to explore the trading practices between farmers and middlemen in Purwodadi Village, Central Kalimantan, focusing on the trade of key limes and kecombrang (torch ginger), while analyzing the transaction mechanisms, evaluating them from the perspective of Islamic economics, and determining their socio-economic impacts. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, the study was conducted in Purwodadi Village, with middlemen and farmers involved in the trade as the research subjects and the trading activity itself as the research object. Data were collected through non-participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. The findings reveal that the trading mechanism is based on trust and strong social relationships, with farmers choosing to sell their harvest to middlemen for market certainty and ease of distribution, while middlemen secure a stable supply of goods. From the perspective of Maqashid Sharia (the objectives of Islamic law), this system reflects principles of justice and benefit, as transactions are conducted fairly and mutually beneficially. This research contributes to understanding trading practices through the lens of Maqashid Sharia, which has not been extensively studied in local trade contexts, affirming the crucial role of social relationships and trust in sustaining traditional trading systems. Additionally, it provides insights into how principles of justice and benefit are applied in rural economic practices, offering a new perspective in Islamic economic studies, particularly in assessing trust-based transactions in the agricultural sector.

Abstract

The coal gasification project for Dimethyl Ethane (DME) in Indonesia offers great potential to support the energy transition by reducing dependence on energy imports, saving the country's foreign exchange, and contributing to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. Through a Cost-Benefit Analysis (CBA), this study assesses the economic feasibility and environmental consequence of the project, focusing on investment costs, foreign exchange savings, emission reductions, and job creation. Although the project promises significant benefits, key challenges include high investment costs, dependence on foreign technology, and the sustainability of environmentally friendly coal supplies. Therefore, the project's success is highly dependent on supportive policies, such as fiscal incentives, public-private partnerships, and strengthening domestic technology research, which can ensure a cleaner and more sustainable energy transition in Indonesia.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and changes in consumer behavior have triggered the need for research that examines the influence of capital and innovation on the income of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) with digital disruption as a mediating variable. This study aims to analyze the relationship and provide insight into how MSMEs can adapt to an increasingly digital business environment. This research was conducted in Denpasar City, Bali Province. The selection of the research location was based on considerations that Denpasar City is the most densely populated city/area in Bali. The Purposive Sampling technique in this study sets certain criteria. The number of samples used in this study was 92 respondents who were each MSME owner. The data collection method was with a questionnaire with a Likert scale and tested with the SmartPLS application for descriptive analysis and inferential analysis. The findings of this study are that capital does not have a significant positive effect on income, Innovation does not have a positive and significant effect on income, Digital disruption strategies are able to mediate capital on MSME income in Denpasar City, Digital disruption strategies are not able to mediate innovation on MSME income in Denpasar City. This study concludes that the existence of capital alone is not enough to increase the income of MSMEs, this ineffectiveness is caused by the less than optimal product innovation carried out by MSMEs in Denpasar City so that the results achieved are not optimal, Digitalization has become a transformational force in various sectors, including the MSME sector.

Abstract

This study discusses the digital transformation of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Bali, focusing on the influence of the UTAUT concept on the interest in using payment gateways among entrepreneurs. The background of this study emphasizes the importance of adopting digital technology to support the economic growth of MSMEs, using the UTAUT concept as a theoretical framework. The research method used is a survey of MSME actors in Denpasar City, using a questionnaire as a data collection tool involving 110 respondents. The sample in this study was determined by a non-probability method using a purposive sampling technique, with the criteria of implementing at least one payment gateway application. This sample was targeted at MSME actors in Endek, Denpasar City, who utilize the payment gateway system. The findings show that performance expectancy, effort expectancy, and social influence have a significant positive impact on the intention of MSME actors to use payment gateways. Trust, as a mediating variable, also shows a significant contribution in influencing the decision to adopt this technology. The digital ecosystem moderates the influence of trust on the intention to use. This study concludes that to increase the use of payment gateways among MSMEs, it is important for stakeholders to provide adequate education and support, as well as optimize existing digital infrastructure.
