Abstract

Provinsi Jawa Tengah, termasuk di dalamnya kabupaten Klaten adalah daerah dengan intensitas kebencanaan yang relatif tinggi. Dengan kondisi kebencanaan tersebut, perlu adanya peran dari berbagai pihak untuk membangun awareness atau kesadaran terhadap bencana yang mungkin dapat terjadi sewaktu-waktu. Tingginya potensi jumlah angka masyarakat terpapar ancaman bencana dan kemungkinan dampak kerusakan, kerugian serta lingkungan di atas menunjukkan bahwa masyarakat terutama keluarga perlu untuk meningkatkan pemahaman risiko bencana sehingga dapat mengetahui bagaimana harus merespon dalam menghadapi situasi kedaruratan. Tujuan kegiatan ini untuk memberikan pemahaman pada peserta tentang keluarga tangguh bencana, serta memberikan pengetahuan mengenai kesiapsiagaan keluarga untuk melakukan evakuasi mandiri bagi ibu-ibu. Peserta kegiatan ini adalah ibu-ibu warga Dukuh Babad, Kecamatan Tucuk. Kegiatan ini menambah wawasan dan pengetahuan bagi para ibu-ibu dalam membangun kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana.

Abstract

Kesehatan reproduksi remaja adalah kondisi sehat yang menyangkut sistem, fungsi, dan proses reproduksi yang dimiliki oleh remaja. Masalah yang terjadi pada kesehatan reproduksi remaja bisa berupa hubungan seks sebelum menikah, putus sekolah karena hamil, pasangan tidak bertanggung jawab, aborsi, terinfeksi HIV/AIDS, penyakit menular seksual dan penggunaan obat-obat terlarang. Dari permasalahan tersebut dapat menimbulkan berbagai masalah kesehatan salah satunya yaitu melahirkan anak beresiko stunting. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk meningkatkan pengetahuan siswa MTsN 5 Magetan agar paham mengenai pentingnya menjaga kesehatan reproduksi dan masa depan mereka. Kegiatan ini dilakukan dengan metode penyuluhan disertakan lembar pre test, post test dan Leaflet dengan jumlah sampel 45 siswa sasaran siswa/i MTsN 05 Kabupaten Magetan. Dari hasil olahan data jumlah sampel 45 siswa dan diperoleh ada peningkatan pengetahuan dari rata-rata nilai kuesioner pre-test diperoleh nilai jawaban yang benar 92,38 setelah penyuluhan berubah menjadi 94 yang berarti terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan tentang kesehatan reproduksi dalam pencegahan stuning sebesar 1, 62.

Abstract

A mangrove ecosystem has a vital role in aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems. The goal of the activity is to protect the coastal area of Pasir Puncu due to intrusion, abrasion, tsunami wave, and salty wind, and to sequestrate and restore carbon stock in the mangrove ecosystem. The method of this activity was to plant with mangrove species seedling tied the bamboo stick. With a plant spacing of 1 x 1 m2; the number of mangrove species was 308 seedlings which has 6 months, and has 2-4 leaves. This planting program was carried out by Mangrove Instiper Club students. The result of this programme are planting R. mucronata, Avicennia marina, and Sonneratia alba of 300, 5, 3 seedlings respectively; Seedlings that have been planted are tied using bamboo stick with a length of 1 m using raffia rope. Selecting the mangrove species and site are the significant factors for survival mangrove seedling in the planting site. Keywords : Abrasion, carbon stock, mangrove, tsunami.

Abstract

The impact of the Covid-19 pandemic is not only in the health aspect but also has major implications for the political, economic, socio-cultural, educational, religious, and community welfare aspects. The time for the end of the Covid-19 pandemic is still unknown. Although there is already a vaccine, there is no specific therapy or drug for Covid-19. Not to mention the problems faced such as the threat of SARS-COV-2 mutation with new variants, as well as public attitudes to health protocol discipline are still the main challenges, which at times can cause a new wave of national or global Covid-19 pandemics. This activity aims to reduce public anxiety through counseling to increase knowledge, motivation and change people's behavior in implementing health protocols related to Covid-19. Community service activities related to Covid-19 education and Covid-19 vaccination. The method used in the implementation of science and technology activities to the community is disseminated in the form of two-way lectures and discussions, as well as the distribution of leaflets. In the final interview and observation, it showed changes and improvements, namely 85% of participants knew and understood that Covid-19 could be prevented by complying with and implementing the 5M health protocol; 50% of participants took the initiative to register at the Puskesmas/Clinic which facilitates vaccination services to the wider community in order to obtain the first dose of vaccination; and 10% of participants have started to register at the Fatukbot Headman office and the South Atambua Health Center for Covid-19 vaccination

Abstract

The COVID-19 pandemic has spread massively in various corners of the country with various variants, having a significant impact on various aspects of life, both health and economic aspects. Residents assisted by the Social Welfare Institution (SWI) Anhaarun Yogyakarta are poor and orphans and most of them are widows so they really need help to meet their daily needs, including vegetables. The purpose of the service is to provide vegetable ingredients derived from agroforestry system trees to help alleviate the vegetable needs of the perishing residents of SWI Anhaarun Yogyakarta. The service was carried out in the assisted residents of SWI Anhaarun in Keparakan Village, Mergangsan District, Yogyakarta City. The service method was carried out by distributing vegetables from agroforestry trees by making packages of lodeh jackfruit and lodeh kluwih vegetables put in plastic bags, equipped with plastic bags and side dishes. A total of 100 packages, which were divided into two locations, namely the homes of Mrs. Dian and Mrs. Bambang, each with 50 packages. The conclusions of this activity were (1) the people of Keparakan Kidul village-like jackfruit (gori) (Artocarpus heterophyllus), kluwih (Artocarpus camansi) and melinjo (Gnetum gnemon) vegetables during the covid-19 pandemic, (2) vegetables harvested from agroforestry area have helped to solve the problems of SWI Anhaarun members.  Keywords:  Agroforestry, pandemic, vegetables

Abstract

Covid-19 has been declared a world pandemic by WHO and has been designated by the Government as a non-natural disaster in the form of a disease outbreak that requires integrated countermeasures including the involvement of all components of society. The purpose of this community service activity is to find out the efforts made to prevent the spread of Covid -19 in RT. 004 RW 029 Padukuhan Jomblang, Sendangadi Village, Mlati district, Sleman Regency, DI Yogyakarta. The implementation of this Community Service activity is packaged using cooperative learning methods including lectures, discussions and practice. Efforts to prevent the spread of Covid -19 include: 1) Applying how to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in daily life; 2) Avoid direct contact with other people, and try not to leave the house except in critical times; 3) covid-19 is a virus that damages the respiratory system and can cause several complications from infection to death; and 4) Don't feel too stressed and burdened during this pandemic, because what is needed is a strong immune system or body metabolism and can increase immunity by exercising and eating healthy foods.

Abstract

Pengelolaan keuangan keluarga merupakan kegiatan memberikan penyuluhan tentang  pemahaman pada peserta dalam hal keuangan keluarga. Kurangnya kesadaran dari para ibu bahwa mereka memiliki peran yang sangat luar biasa dalam mengelola dan mengatur keuangan keluarga. Kurangnya kesadaran ini didukung oleh minimnya pengetahuan dan ketrampilan para ibu dalam mengelola keuangan keluarga. Hampir semua orang, khususnya ibu rumah tangga masih merasa kesulitan mengatur keuangan. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah memberikan pemahaman pada peserta tentang keuangan keluarga, dan memberikan pengetahuan mengenai bagaimana mengelola keuangan keluarga yang sehat baik dan benar bagi ibu-ibu warga Desa Delanggu. Metode yang digunakan adalah ceramah dan diskusi sehingga peserta diberi kesempatan untuk saling tanya jawab. Hasil kegiatan ini adalah 90% peserta bertambahnya pengetahuannya mengenai cara mengelola keuangan keluarga yang dilihat berdasarkan hasil tanya jawab yang dilakukan. Harapannya dengan bertambahnya wawasan tersebut maka setiap keluarga mampu mengelola keuangannya dengan baik, meski mempunyai penghasilan yang berbeda-beda.

Abstract

Dermatitis is a form of inflammation of the epidermis and dermis in response to exogenous or endogenous factors, it causes of clinical abnormalities in the form of polymorphic efflorescence (erythema, edema, papules, vesicles, scales, lichenification) and complaints of itching. The location of this service is in the Islamic boarding school in Bantul district. And they who have complaints of Paederus dermatitis caused by Paederus insects and it can be called tomcat. Some students complained about this situation. Meanwhile, from the results of the interviews conducted, data was obtained that many students did not know how to manage and prevent these insect attacks, so it is necessary to educate students to prevent this. The purpose of the activity is to increase the knowledge of Islamic boarding school managers and students in Prevention of Paederus dermatitis. The activity was carried out using the lecture method, making educational media and installing educational media (posters). As for the results of educational activities prevention of paederus dermatitis carried out on students has been carried out with three activities namely socialization and education on prevention of paederus dermatitis, making educational media (paederus dermatitis prevention posters), and installation of educational media and obtained differences in the knowledge of Islamic boarding school students. Besides that, the activities carried out are going well, educational media in the form of posters can be installed at several points as needed.

Abstract

Tomcat is a beetle of the family Staphylinidae and genus Paederus sp. This beetle has been an outbreak of dermatitis in Indonesia. Islamic Boarding School X which is located in the Bantul district is one of the locations that have complaints about the incidence of Dermatitis Paederus, namely dermatitis caused by insects from the genus Paedarus or it can be called tomcat. Risk control efforts are needed to control hazards and reduce risks that may cause losses. One type of risk control effort that can be used effectively and with minimal direct involvement of humans is by using technical controls. This dedication control the attack of insects from the genus paedae and reduce the incidence of Dermatitis Paederus in Islamic boarding school students X, Bantul region. This activity was carried out using applied methods with direct application to building A of the Islamic boarding school X. Results: The ceiling installation was carried out at the Islamic boarding school with a total area of 50 square meters with the type of material used being Galvalume. The installation was carried out in all areas of the rooms at Pondok Pesantren X in Bantul Regency. Based on the results of an evaluation carried out using the interview method, 98% of respondents stated that ceiling installation was effective for controlling paedae beetle attacks and increasing room comfort.

Abstract

Stunted children are very vulnerable to various kinds of diseases from childhood to adulthood. Based on the situation analysis, several problems faced by partners can be identified, namely there are still cases of stunting, possibly because there are still stunted toddlers and babies born with LBW and the level of knowledge of mothers/families/cadres/young women regarding stunting is still low. The purpose of this service is to increase public knowledge about stunting which includes its meaning, causes, effects, and prevention efforts. This Community Service activity is in the form of health education activities with counseling methods related to stunting for the community which will be held in June 2022 in the Purwobinangun Village. This activity was attended by 26 participants (mothers, teenagers, cadres, PKK, and others). The method used in health education is a contextual learning approach. Interactive methods with participants are also carried out and assisted with learning media such as LCD, PPT, and pointers. The results of the service show that there is an increase in public knowledge about stunting which includes understanding, causes, consequences, and efforts to prevent it as evidenced by an increase in the average score. The statistical test results also show that the significance value is 0.00. This means that there is an influence between the provision of health education about stunting on increasing the participants' knowledge, in this case mothers and adolescents. The recommendation from this activity is the need for continuous health promotion efforts by involving the community as program implementers. Activate existing activities in the community as a means of education. The use of appropriate health promotion media is also the key to public interest which in turn can increase public awareness of the information received.
