The purpose of this study was to analyze the influence of leadership, organizational climate on motivation and employee performance at PT Indonesia Port Corporation IV in Makassar Area. The study applied samples of 86 employees out of 615 population. Data collection methods using questionnaires and then analyzed using path analysis. The research model confirms the existing literature that leadership and organizational climate have a significant and positive effect on motivation. The results also showed that leadership, organizational climate, and employee motivation have a significant and positive effect on employee performance. research also shows the positive and significant result on the influence between leadership on employee performance through employee motivation. It is also the same for organizational climates to impact employee performance through employee motivation.

This study aims to determine the differences in performances of the LQ 45 stock portfolio using 3 different methods, which are Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen from 2016 until 2020. The study applied a purposive sampling technique with certain criteria. Portfolio formation in this study uses a single index model. Each sample is measured by all conditions or periods, a one-way analysis of variance by rank with the method used that is the Kruskal-Wallish test. It is then tested whether the portfolio performance in each period will have a similar rank or not if measured by different methods. The test results with the Kruskal-Wallish test on the three methods obtained X2 = 0.004 with a probability of 0.998. With, this evaluation, the results indicate that there is no significant difference between the tests using the Sharpe, Treynor, and Jensen methods. Interestingly, Treynor shows consistent measurement than the other two methods.

Loyalty and trust from customers are the keys for the company to be sustainable as when customers are loyal and trust the company, they will make repeat engagement with the company and are reluctant to move with other products and services offered by other companies. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of service quality and satisfaction on customer trust and customer loyalty of PT. Indonesia National Shipping Company or called PT. PELNI. The study collected data from 98 passengers using the service of the Indonesian National Shipping Company during Covid-19 traveling from Makassar to Bau-Bau or vice versa. Data was collected using questionnaires. Data collected data are then evaluated their validity and reliability and tested their classical assumption test afterward. The study use path analysis to resolve problems raised from the study. The results showed that service quality had a positive and significant effect on consumer trust and loyalty. Satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on customer trust, but an insignificant effect on consumer loyalty. Trust has a positive and significant effect on loyalty.

This study aimed to find out the effects of OCB on Nurses’ performance at Hospital Ibnu Sina Makassar. This is quantitative research with the targeted respondents that are 53 nurses. The data were collected using questionnaires or structured questionnaires, while the data analysis used Partial Least Square PLS. There are 21 indicators evaluated in the OCB, but three indicators were dropped firstly, then followed by four indicators. For the performance, there are 20 indicators evaluated their loading weight parameter that there is only one indicator is dropped due to having loading weight less than 0.5. Of the 18 indicators used to define the construct OCB and 19 indicators for the construct performance, the study found that OCB has a significant positive effect on nurses’ performance

This study aims to determine the level of risk and return on shares obtained by PT. Jiwasraya during the 2017-2020 period using the CAPM method. The sample used is purposive sampling based on certain criteria, namely the troubled shares owned PT. Jiwasraya for the 2017-2020 period. The results of this study indicate that 2 of the 24 shares were risky (β > 1) like SIMA shares with beta (1,981777) and PCAR with beta (16,323271), which means this stock is an aggressive stock. There are 23 out of 24 stocks that provide a return below the expected return such as the BNBR stock return, namely (0) with an expected return (0,00387) which means that the return obtained by PT. Jiwasraya is not as expected.

This study aims to analyze the effect of asset utilization and leadership commitment on income through asset optimization in the case of Legal Entity Higher Education of Hasanuddin University. Data was collected using a questionnaire of five Likert scales and distributed to 44 respondents of the state civil apparatus. The collected data is then analyzed using the quantitative approach of path analysis. The results showed that asset utilization and leadership commitment have a positive and significant effect on the optimization of assets and the increase in income. The leadership commitment variable has a positive and significant effect on increasing income through asset optimization. The optimization of assets has a positive and significant effect on income.

This study aims to analyze the effect of reference groups and brand trust on purchasing decisions with buying interest as an intervening variable on consumers of HNI-HPAI herbal products in Bone. This study took data from 70 consumers of HNI-HPAI Healthy Homes in Bone. Data is then analyzed using Structural Equation Model (SEM) technique with the help of the SmartPLS3.0 program. The results of the analysis prove that the reference group and brand trust contribute to affecting purchasing decisions. Both reference group and brand trust were also found to have a positive effect on buying interest. Further, buying interest also has a positive and significant effect on purchasing decisions and was found to be able to mediate the relationship between the reference group and brand trust on purchasing decisions of HNI-HPAI consumers in Bone.

The success of a company can be achieved by the creation of optimal employee performance. This study aims to analyze the extent of the influence of individual characteristics and organizational characteristics in improving performance when work motivation is used as an intervening variable. This type of research is quantitative research. In analyzing data, the study applied path analysis assisted by SPPS software. The results found that individual characteristics and organizational characteristics have a significant positive effect on work motivation. When associated with employee performance, it is organizational characteristics indicate a significant effect, but it did not for individual characteristics. Work motivation shows a significant effect on employee performance. The findings also indicate that work motivation can mediate the relationship between individual characteristics and employee performance, but it did not occur for the relationship between organizational characteristics and employee performance.

This study aims to determine the effect of loan service quality and administrative loan procedures (KUR) on customer satisfaction at PT. Bank BNI Regional Office 07 Makassar. The study uses a sample of 100 respondents using a questionnaire. Data collected is then analyzed using multiple linear regression. The result of the study indicated that the service quality satisfied loan customers. Differently, administrative micro-loan did not show a significant relationship, suggesting it did not affect the administrative loans on customer satisfaction.

The purpose of this study is to examine and analyze the effect of stock split on abnormal return and stock trading volume in manufacturing sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This type of research uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The population in this study was 40 companies registered in Manufacturing. Sampling in this study used the purposive sampling method in which the sample was taken with certain criteria to have a representative sample. Based on the results of statistical tests, it was found that the announcement of a stock split has no significant effect on abnormal returns so a positive abnormal return indicates that the stock split provides good news for investors, but a negative abnormal return indicates a stock split is a bad news so that it will affect on investor confidence to invest. While the results of the subsequent statistical tests showed that there is a significant difference between the average trading volume activity before and after the stock split announcement.
