Abstract

One issue of the decline in the performance of the agricultural sector is claimed due to changing the authority of BULOG in managing strategic food through trade system instruments.This study aims to analyze the system of rice supply Perum BULOG South Sulawesi in terms of the number of economic orders, minimum inventory, maximum inventory, and determining the point of reorder. This research was conducted at the Office of Public Logistics Bureau at Jln. Andi Pangeran Pettarani, Makassar. In research using data collection techniques by means of observation, literature study, interviews and documentation. Analysis of the data that has been selected is the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ). The results showed that from the calculation results to determine the economical amount of inventory using EOQ calculations, it is known that the costs of South Sulawesi Bulog raw material inventory in 2017 amounted to 235.41 tons with a ordering frequency of 310 purchases in one year. Whereas from 2017 the realization of the absorption of Bulog rice procurement in South Sulawesi in 2017 amounted to 324,554 tons, with an ordering frequency of 305 times with an average of 1,064 tons per order. If the company can implement the EOQ method can provide savings on raw material inventory costs and the accuracy in managing the amount of inventory. Based on the calculation of the safety stock, it can be seen that in 2017 Bulog must have a safety stock of rice in the warehouse of 18,264 tons to avoid a stock out. Based on the reorder point calculation, Bulog must reorder when the stock is 18,383 tons. The maximum inventory of rice that can be stored in a warehouse is 18,499 tons.

Abstract

ERP systems (Enterprise Resource Planning) provide companies with software that combines functional pieces with a focus on the processes.This study aims to determine the effect of usability of the Oracle Cloud ERP System on the effectiveness of its implementation at PT. Bumi Sarana Utama in Indonesia. The design of this study is to use a quantitative approach. In this study there are two variables, namely the dependent variable and the independent variable. The population in this study are food and beverage industry companies. The sampling method used is random sampling. Data collection was carried out using library research and field research. Data analysis was performed using multiple linear regression analysis using the SPSS 23.0 system. The results of this study indicate that (1) There is a positive and significant effect on learnability variables on the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP system at PT. Bumi Sarana Utama. (2) There is a positive and insignificant effect on the efficiency variable on the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP system at PT. Bumi Sarana Utama. (3) There is a positive and insignificant effect on the memorability variable on the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP system at PT. Bumi Sarana Utama. (4) There is a positive and insignificant effect on the error variable on the implementation of the Oracle Cloud ERP system at PT. Bumi Sarana Utama. Abstract

Competence is the ability of an individual to carry out a job correctly and has an advantage based on matters relating to knowledge, expertise, and attitude.This study aims to determine the effect of competencies, organizational culture, and organizational commitment on job satisfaction and its impact on employee performance at PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. The approach in this study is a quantitative. The population in this study were all employees at the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C. amounting to 48 people. The method of data collection is done using observations and questionnaires. Data were analyzed using path analysis. The results of this study indicate that (1) Competence has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (2) Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (3) Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (4) Job satisfaction has a positive and significant effect on employee performance at PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (5) The mediation test results that indicate that job satisfaction can affect the influence of competencies on employee performance in the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. (6) The mediation test results that show that job satisfaction can influence the influence of organizational culture on employee performance at the company PT. Haji La Tunrung A.M.C in Makassar. Abstract

Today, Consumers are very critical in buying, offering products that very much make consumers more selective in determining the choice of products to buy. This study aims to determine which brand image (brand image), user image (user image), and product image (product image) that most influence the decision to purchase a Mitsubishi Pajero car in Makassar City. The type of data used is qualitative data and quantitative data. The population in this study are all consumers of PT. Bosowa Berlian Motor bought a Mitsubishi Pajero car. The sample in this study has certain criteria as for these criteria, which are users of the Mitsubishi Pajero and the duration of use of at least 1 year. Data collection in this study uses a questionnaire. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that all brand image variables, user image, and product image of the decision to purchase a Mitsubishi Pajero car at Bosowa Berlian Motor in Makassar have a positive and significant influence on the decision dependent variable purchase of a Mitsubishi Pajero car at PT Bosowa Berlian Motor in Makassar. Product image (product image) is the most influential variable when compared to other variable data, namely brand image (brand image) and user image (user image).

Abstract

Commercial aviation is a part of aviation industry which specializes in operating aircraft for passenger and cargo. PT Garuda Indonesia is a one flag carrier that has a worldwide reputation in aviation industry. This study analyzes the financial performance of the Indonesian aviation industry, with specific reference to the PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk for the period 2012-2018. This research uses descriptive type of research. The data required in this research is collected based on secondary data. The financial performance has been explored to support this study by analyzing the financial statements throughout 2012-2018. The data collected from the company’s prospectus, annual reports, and other sources to help the researcher to analyze the financial performance. The financial ratios which are used in this research are liquidity ratio, profitability ratio, and solvency ratio to determine the financial performance each year. Continue using DuPont Analysis, Compound Annual Growth Method (CAGR), and Optimal Capital Structure and SWOT Analysis. In the last 5 years PT. Garuda Indonesia experience once significant performance degradation in 2014, where the number of total operating expenses were higher than the total operating revenues. It was found that Garuda Indonesia currently suffering from high loss. A significant change is noticed in 2014 where net income fell up to 90%. In 2017 Garuda Indonesia also suffering too, which is the profit loss till US $ 213 million. This means the net income was not able to cover its expenses at that time. This event is occurred due to the rising domestic jet fuel price and depreciation of Indonesian local currency. The result of this analysis will be given to PT. Garuda Indonesia, Tbk. to improve the financial performance of the company and can be used as a reference for other airline to study financial performance of other airlines.

Abstract

Although there are often family businesses or family-based companies in Indonesia, qualitative researches on this topic, linked to leadership and high-performance work systems, are still very rare. For this reason, the goal of the research is to find out how transformational leadership and high-performance work systems are used in the company's day-to-day operations to achieve the company's performance results. This study was conducted in a group of family business companies in South Sulawesi. The company group has an agenda to deliver the best corporate values, including leadership practices and high-performance work systems. With the help of the questionnaires distributed in the company environment, 3000 responses were received and treated with content analysis. The encoding processes in the text analysis revealed that the company has implemented transformation management with the highest level of visibility, strategy, and performance. For a high-performance work system, the company has done well and is less dependent on enterprise management and managers can use the results of this research to improve management practices and high-performance work systems that are better for employees.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the 5C factor on non-performing loans in debtors under the age of 45 years at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero), Tbk Sengkang Branch. The research is a quantitative study using multiple regression analysis with the assistant of SPSS application software. Data was collected through questionnaires distributed to 45 respondent of debtors. Validity and reliability of the questionnaire are evaluated beforehand. Based on the results of the study, the variable character negatively affects non-performing loans, the capacity negatively affects non-performing loans, the condition of economy negatively affect non-performing loans, the collateral negatively affects non-performing loans, the capital negatively affects non-performing loans for debtors under 45 years at PT. Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk Sengkang Branch.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the relationship of leadership style and organizational culture on employee performance through job satisfaction as intervening variables in Telkom Indonesia Regional VII Division. The population of the study is based on managerial & staff job positions consisting of 62 respondences from 161 full-time employees of Indonesia state-owned telecommunication company, Telkom Indonesia Regional VII Division. This research used quantitive methods. The primary data were collected by the questionnaire as the instrument to prove the results of the study. By using Smart Partial Least Squares (PLS), the analysis of collected data revealed and to test the hypotheses. According to the findings of this research supported the positive effect of leadership style, organizational culture, and job satisfaction through employee performances. The hypotheses analysis in the study has no significant effect of leadership style on employee performance, whereas job satisfaction as partial mediating.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of liquidity, total assets, and Debt to Equity Ratio(DER) on profitability (ROA) and firm value (PER) on telecommunication companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI). The samples taken are 30 from five different companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange using the annual report from 2012 - 2017. Data is then analyzed using path analysis method with the assistant of SPSS software. Sobel test and classical assumption test were evaluated beforehand. The results of the study found that liquidity had a negative and significant effect on profitability (ROA), while total assets and DER had a positive and significant effect on profitability. Liquidity and total assets have a positive and significant influence on firm value, while DER has a negative effect on firm value. Profitability has a positive and significant effect on firm value. The mediation test results show that liquidity has a direct and indirect effect on firm value mediated by profitability. Total assets have a direct effect on increasing company value, but interestingly total assets through profitability show insignificant score to impact firm value. DER has a direct and negative effect on firm value, while the results of the probability proved that profitability can mediate the influence between DER on firm value.

Abstract

This study examines the effect of capital structure, company growth, company size on profitability and company value the cases of manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. This research is quantitative descriptive research using path analysis. Classical assumption evaluations are conducted comprising of normality, linearity, autocorrelation, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity test. The sample is 33 manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange from period 2013 – 2017. The results of the study found that there was a positive impact of capital structure, company growth, firm size on profitability and value of manufacturing companies.
