Abstract

Hasil belajar peserta didik di kelas VIII SMP Negeri 2 Telukdalam masih tergolong rendah atau kurang dari Kriteria Ketuntasan Minimal (KKM) yang telah ditetapkan yaitu 70. Hal ini disebabkan oleh pembelajaran yang masih berpusat pada guru atau pembelajaran masih bersifat konvensional. Sebab itu, dilakukan kegiatan penelitian dengan mengimplementasikan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together terintegrasi tipe Snowball Throwing dengan harapan hasil belajar peserta didik di SMP Negeri 2 Telukdalam mengalami peningkatan dan kualitas pembelajaran terperbaiki dengan baik. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil belajar peserta didik pada mata pelajaran IPA-Biologi melalui implementasi model pembelajaran Tipe Number Heads Together terintegrasi Tipe Snowball Throwing di SMP Negeri 2 Telukdalam. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan Metode Penelitian Tindakan Kelas yang meliputi (1) Perencanaan, (2) Tindakan, (3) Observasi, (4) Refleksi. Rangkaian kegiatan ini dilaksanakan dalam Dua Siklus. Berdasarkan perhitungan tes hasil belajar diperoleh hasil bahwa dengan menggunakan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together terintegrasi tipe Snowball Throwing terbukti adanya peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik khususnya dalam mata pelajaran IPA-Biologi. Pada siklus I, peserta didik mendapat nilai rata-rata masih dibawah nilai KKM, dengan nilai 65.14 ini dikarenakan oleh tingkat penguasaan peserta didik terhadap materi masih kurang. Pada siklus II, peningkatan hasil belajar peserta didik sudah mencapai target yang ditetapkan, dengan nilai rata-rata 76.57 dalam hal ini hasil yang diperoleh sangat baik atau maksimal. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan menggunakan strategi pembelajaran dapat memotivasi peserta didik dalam belajar salah satunya model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together terintegrasi tipe Snowball Throwing yang dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik. Saran peneliti adalah hendaknya guru memperhatikan kelemahan-kelemahan yang terjadi dalam pelaksanaan pembelajaran yaitu penyusunan soal-soal tes agar sesuai dengan langkah-langkah penerapan model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe Number Heads Together terintegrasi tipe Snowball Throwing.

Abstract

In the implementation of higher education, building student independence in learning is an important part. In a higher education environment, students who can study independently will be better prepared to face changes in the dynamic and fast world of work. Development of student learning independence can be done by choosing a learning model that develops students' thinking skills and self-confidence. One way is to apply the inquiry learning model which is a learning model that is oriented towards students' ability to build their knowledge independently. This study aims to determine the effect of the inquiry learning model on student learning independence in the biology education study program at the University of West Sulawesi. This type of research is quasi-experimental research. This research was carried out in the odd semester of the 2022/2023 school year with a population of all fifth-semester students who programmed the Learning Innovation course by taking samples using a purposive sampling technique so that class A and class B became the research sample with a total of 58 students. The instrument used in this study was a learning independence questionnaire consisting of 5 indicators and 20 questions. Data analysis was carried out using descriptive analysis to determine the increase in the value of student learning independence and inferential analysis to test the hypothesis using the Anacova test. The results of the hypothesis test using Anacova obtained a significance value of 0.001 <0.05 so it can be said that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted which means that there is an influence of the application of the inquiry learning model on the learning independence of students in the Biology Education Study Program, Universitas Sulawesi Barat

Abstract

This study aims to determine the application of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type to increase the activity and learning outcomes in the body's defense system material for class XI students at MAN 1 Makassar. This research is a classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 40 students of class XI MIPA 4 MAN 1 Makassar. Methods of data collection using observation, tests and documentation. The data instruments used were observation sheets and test sheets. The data analysis technique used is quantitative descriptive data analysis with proportions. The results showed that there was an increase in the proportion of the average score of learning activeness of 25.64%, from the first cycle of 61.94% to 87.58% in the second cycle. The results of the second cycle of data analysis show that the score has reached the specified minimum criteria of 75%. There are 7 active indicators in this study and the seven indicators have reached the specified minimum criteria of 75%. Improving learning outcomes with the application of the teams games tournament learning model in cycle I, the proportion of student learning outcomes was only 8% who completed, while as many as 92% of students had not completed from 38 students. In cycle II it can be seen that students' abilities have increased with a proportion of 100% or all students are successful in their learning outcomes. The results of the second cycle of data analysis show that the score has reached the minimum completeness criterion of 75%. The conclusions of this study indicate that the application of the cooperative learning model of the team games tournament type can increase the activity and learning outcomes of the body's defense system material for class XI MIPA 4 MAN 1 Makassar. Abstract

This study aims to determine the validity, practicality, and effectiveness of powtoon-based learning animation videos on Ecosystem material class VII at SMP Negeri 6 Palopo. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) which refers to the ADDIE development research design which consists of five stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The population of this study were all class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Palopo. The sample in this study was class VII C. The results showed that the development of powtoon-based learning animation videos on Ecosystem material showed that: (1) the results of the validity test on powtoon-based learning media obtained a percentage of 85% with valid criteria; (2) the results of the practicality test by the teacher obtained a percentage of 92.5% with very practical criteria; (3) the results of the practicality test by students obtained a percentage of 82% with practical criteria; (4) the results of the effectiveness test obtained a percentage of 81.25% with effective criteria. Therefore, it can be concluded that powtoon-based learning animation videos meet the criteria to be used as science learning media, especially in Ecosystem material.

Abstract

Environmental literacy is knowledge, awareness, sensitivity and responsibility towards the environment. Someone who has good environmental knowledge, has a positive relationship with a good attitude towards his environment. This study aims to analyze environmental knowledge and environmental care attitudes of students through waste management at SMAN 6 Kota Tidore Kepulauan. This type of research is a quasi-experimental design with pretest and posttest. The research sample was class X students, totaling 38 students. The instruments used were multiple choice questions totaling 30 questions and the environmental care attitude questionnaire totaling 13 items. The instruments were tested using validity and reliability tests. Quantitative data analysis used the t test with the SPSS application. The results showed that environmental knowledge had different scores between the pre-test and the post-test. The same thing also happened to students' attitudes towards the environment. Based on the significant difference test with the Wilcoxon test, the value of students' environmental knowledge was 0.000 < 0.05, then H0 was rejected. This means that environmental knowledge through waste management in class X students of SMA Negeri 6 Tidore Kepulauan City differs significantly between before and after the learning process. The same thing happened with students' attitudes towards the environment with the t-test paired sample test, the result of which was a sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 < 0.05, so H0 is rejected. This means that there are significant differences in students' attitudes towards the environment before and after learning through waste management in class X SMA Negeri 6 Kota Ternate.

Abstract

This study aims to improve students' science learning outcomes through the application of a jigsaw type cooperative learning model for class IV SDN 660 Mekar Jaya, Luwu Regency. This type of research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) which was carried out for 2 cycles. The subjects of this study were 24 students of grade IV SDN 660 Mekar Jaya, 11 male students and 14 female students. Collecting data in this study using observation, tests, and documentation. The research instrument consisted of learning implementation observation sheets and tests. The data analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative analysis. The results showed that there was an increase in student learning outcomes using the Jigsaw model in learning science for fourth grade students at SDN 660 Mekar Jaya. In cycle I, the average score of students' science learning outcomes was 60.4 (low category) and in cycle II, the average score of students' science learning outcomes was 77.6 (medium category).

Abstract

Research has been carried out with the title Identification of the Presence of Bacteria in Sambal Lalapan in Cigombong Kotaraja at the Biology Laboratory of Cenderawasih University Jayapura using samples of sambal lalapan. This research was conducted for 3 months starting from April 23, 2022 to June 6, 2022. The purpose of this study was to determine the presence of bacteria in sambal lalapan in Cigombong Kotaraja. The type of research used in this study is descriptive with a laboratory approach to identify the presence or absence of bacteria in chili sauce in Cigombong Kotaraja. The population used in this study were all fresh chili sauce sellers in Cigombong Kotaraja. The number of samples in this study were 5 samples (total population). The research method used is descriptive method by means of microscopy. To determine the presence or absence of bacteria in sambal lalapan in Cigombong Kotaraja, analyzed by Colony Counter and Microscope by planting on Sodium Agar (NA) media and Gram staining and obtained the results of 5 samples (100%) of sambal lalapan all positive for bacterial contamination with Bacil bacterial cell shape, Gram Negative, Red in color.

Abstract

The booklet on the diversity of species of magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class of angiosperm plants is one of the learning resources that can be used to help students in the learning process. The purpose of this study was to develop a booklet as a valid learning resource for class X high school plantae material. This research was conducted at the Department of Biology FMIPA UNM. This development research uses the ADDIE development model which has five stages namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. Product development begins with designing a booklet on the Canva application and then printing it for further evaluation by expert validators. The results showed that the developed booklet had a validity level of 4.67. So it can be concluded that the magnoliopsida (dicotyledoneae) class diversity booklet of angiosperm plant species as a source of biology learning material for class X high school plantae is very valid.

Abstract

The development of powerpoint-based learning media assisted by mind maps is included in research and development (R&D). min map is one of the teaching materials that makes it easy to place information into the brain and extract information from the brain during learning activities. This study aims to produce learning media based on PowerPoint assisted by a mind map on material on the human circulatory system that is valid and practical. This development research uses the Plomp development model which has three stages, namely the initial investigation stage, the development or prototyping stage, and the assessment stage. The validation results of learning media developed by media experts were 93.33% (very valid), material experts 91.38% (very valid), learning experts 98% (very valid). The result of practicality by students is 89.67% (very practical) and the result of practicality by teachers is 93.49% (very practical).

Abstract

This research aims to observe student’s perceptions toward the implementation of MBKM, students exchange between study program at Institut Turatea Indonesia. The instruments used were questionnaires and interviews. Questionnaires were distributed to fiftth semester students as many as 65 students who were referred to as respondents. The questionnaire that was distributed covered two main aspects: first, to capture respondents' perceptions of the MBKM program, second, to capture respondents' perceptions of the implementation of the independent student exchange program between study programs. Based on the results of questionnaire analysis and interviews, it was obtained that the results of student perceptions in the MBKM program were at a percentage of 79% (good category) and student perceptions of the independent student exchange program between study programs were at a percentage of 89% (very good category).
