Abstract

The purpose of this study is to identify the kind of feed plant and Trigona sp. behavior in the buffer area of Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park. It is a quantitative descriptive method. Bee trips to feed trees were directly observed in order to identify the feed plants, and the results were confirmed through examination of the morphology of the pollen. Acetolysis is a technology used in the pollen extraction process. The study's findings identified six different plant species that provide food for Trigona sp. bees: Zinnia peruviana, Mangifera indica, Arachis hypogaea, Turnera subulata, and Antingonon leptopus. According to the results of the pollen identification process, eight plant species Antingonon leptopus, Cocos nucifera, Turnera ulmifolia, Turnera subulata, Chamaecrista calycioides, Arachis hypogaea, and Sida rhombifolia contributed as a source of feed. A. leptopus and C. nucifera are the two plants that receive the most visits, and 08.00–12.00 is the busiest hour.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the diversity of gastropods on Cukuh Raya Beach, Kaur Regency and to produce a valid classification booklet of living things. Based on the results of sampling at Cukuh Raya Beach, 12 species of gastropods were obtained, namely: M. annulus, T. chrysostomus, T. canaliculatus, R. aspera, N. canrena, C. femorale, V. musica, N. undata, T. radiatus G., R. nilotica, O. sayana R., and O. polpasta D. The research and development design used, namely (R&D) is based on the 4-D model starting from defining (Define), designing (Design), developing (Develop), and disseminating (Disseminate), but only carried out up to the development stage. The booklet developed was made with an attractive cover and Open Sans font that is in accordance with EYD. The booklet contains a front cover, foreword, table of contents, learning objectives, indicators of learning objective achievement, summary of materials, gastropod diversity, evaluation questions, and bibliography. The average results by expert (lecturer) and practitioner (teacher) validation obtained a percentage of the booklet content aspect of 90%, language aspect of 93.8%, and graphic/design aspect of 88.6% with an average of 90.8% in the category of "very feasible". Thus, it can be concluded that the developed product is very feasible to be tested in the learning process.

Abstract

Based on BPS data in 2022, the second highest unemployment rate in 2021-2022 was high school graduates. This is partly due to the lack of provision of survival skills/life skills for students to face challenges in the future. The Merdeka Curriculum is a curriculum that can provide life skills and develop students' character. One of the skills that is very much needed by high school students is the skill to create opportunities and turn those opportunities into something valuable. This is closely related to the entrepreneurial spirit and attitude. Project-based learning has a major influence in honing the entrepreneurial spirit of students. This study aims to determine the level of entrepreneurial spirit of students after participating in the biology subject project at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak. This type of research is quantitative descriptive research. The research instrument used is a questionnaire. The research instrument used has been validated by two lecturers from the Department of Biology, FMIPA UNP and was tested on 30 students outside the research sample. The sample in this study were students in grades XI and XII with a total of 231 students at SMA Negeri 1 Guguak in the 2024/2025 academic year. The questionnaire distributed was an entrepreneurial spirit questionnaire after participating in a biology subject project. The research data were analyzed using percentage analysis (%) of student answers. Based on the research conducted, the value of students' entrepreneurial spirit after participating in a biology subject project was 79.50% and was included in the good category. It can be concluded that after participating in a biology subject project, it can foster students' entrepreneurial spirit which is identified through 6 main indicators, namely self-confidence, task and result orientation, daring to take risks, leadership, originality, and future orientation.

Abstract

This study aims to develop Student Worksheets (LKPD) based on Problem Based Learning (PBL) which are effective in improving students' critical thinking skills. The PBL method was chosen because it can encourage students to be actively involved in the learning process through solving real problems. This study uses the ADDIE model development approach, which includes analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study consisted of grade X students in a high school. Data were collected through observation, questionnaires, and critical thinking skills tests before and after the use of LKPD. The results showed that the use of PBL-based LKPD significantly improved students' critical thinking skills. These findings are expected to contribute to the development of more interactive and effective learning methods in the context of education.

Abstract

Weeds are one of the Plant Pest Organisms (OPT) which have both advantages and disadvantages. Weeds can grow around plants very quickly, including in areas where corn is planted. This research aims 1. To describe the weed diversity index found in corn plants (Zea mays L.) at UPT PATPH Lebo Sidoarjo. 2. To determine the morphological structure of weeds found in corn plants (Zea mays L.) at UPT PATPH Lebo Sidoarjo. 3. To analyze various potential weeds found in corn plants (Zea mays L.) at UPT PATPH Lebo Sidoarjo. The method used is a survey using random sampling techniques with a plot system. The results showed that at stations I and II the most dominant plant was Portulaca oleracea (Purslane). The diversity index in the corn fields of UPT PATPH Lebo at stations I and II is 1.96, which means moderate diversity. which means H' is classified as medium (1<H'<H’3). The identified potential of weeds is as food, animal feed, medicine and ornamental plants.

Abstract

This research aims to determine how much influence the use of production factors has, determine the level of allocative efficiency, and determine the income received by rice farmers in one planting season in Legu Woda Village, Magepanda District, Sikka Regency. Location selection was carried out purposively based on land area and rice production results. The analytical method used is multiple linear regression analysis with the Cobb-Douglass function, allocative efficiency analysis, and farming income analysis. The research results show that simultaneously, all X variables influence rice production and partially, all X variables influence rice production. The regression results show that the R Square (R²) value is 0.626 or 62.6%. This means that 62.6% of rice production is explained by variable X, while 37.4% is explained by other variables. The research results show that the average income received by farmers is IDR 8,501,984. The results of the allocative efficiency analysis show that the factors of land area, fertilizer, seeds, labor, pesticides and water are not optimal.

Abstract

Soil quality is an important factor in determining agricultural yields, and geological conditions also influence the availability and distribution of essential minerals for plant growth. Tamaila Utara Village, in Gorontalo Regency, has significant agricultural potential, but it has not been fully optimized. The objective of this study is to conduct an in-depth analysis of soil mineral content and geological conditions, as well as their impact on agricultural productivity. This study uses a combined approach of laboratory analysis and quantitative analysis with the Guttman method. Soil samples were collected at several agricultural sites, based on land slope, followed by an analysis of macro and micro-nutrient content. The results show that the volcanic rock-based geological conditions, rich in minerals, support the availability of nutrients in several areas. However, the farming practices for corn in Tamaila Utara Village are still unsustainable, as these activities have significantly impacted the surrounding ecosystem, soil quality, and corn yields, which have declined over the past three years.
