Abstract

Tanaman padi sebagai sumber pangan utama bagi mayoritas penduduk dunia, termasuk masyarakat Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah pada gangguan yang diakibatkan oleh Organisme Pengganggu Tanaman (OPT), khususnya gulma. Penelitian dilakukan mulai Bulan November-Desember 2023 di lahan padi sawah Kelurahan Mauliru, Kecamatan Kambera, Kabupaten Sumba Timur. Pengambilan sampel gulma dilakukan menggunakan metode kuadrat dengan 10 titik sampel yang ditentukan dengan metode purposive sampling. Tiap titik akan dilakukan pengamatan pada lahan ukuran 1,5m x 1,5m. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan terdapat 20 jenis gulma dengan total individu yang diperoleh mencapai 2.479. Gulma Cyperus rotundus mendominasi dengan nilai Summed Dominance Ratio (SDR) tertinggi sebesar 9,32% dengan nilai penting tertinggi sebesar 46,57%. Perhitungan nilai indeks keragaman menggunakan persamaan Indeks Diversitas Shannon-Wiener. Pada penelitian ini diperoleh nilai indeks keragaman sebesar 2,25 dan dikategorikan rendah. Abstract

Conventional learning methods dominantly used in schools, such as lectures, are less effective in helping students understand complex concepts, especially ecosystem material. This research aims to analyze the influence of the project-based learning model or Project-Based Learning (PjBL) on understanding ecosystem concepts in students at SMA Negeri 1 Kubung. Using a quantitative approach, this research applies a Quasi Experimental method with a Randomized Control Group Posttest Only design. The research results showed that the implementation of PjBL significantly increased students' conceptual understanding with the posttest average of experimental class students being higher than that of the control class. These findings indicate that the PjBL model is effective in increasing students' conceptual understanding of ecosystem material and can improve critical and collaborative thinking skills.

Abstract

The development of E-Modules for biology learning needs to be carried out so that the biology learning process can run more optimally. This research aims to test the feasibility of developing e-modules on biodiversity material as a learning medium. The type of research is development research using ADDIE Models. The research instruments were teacher interview guide sheets, student questionnaires, validity test questionnaires, and practicality test questionnaires. The e-module was validated by two lecturers from the Biology Department, FMIPA UNP and one biology teacher at SMAN 8 Padang. The e-module was tested on 2 biology teachers and 30 students of SMAN 8 Padang class X MIPA for the 2024/2025 academic year to test the practicality of the product being developed. The object of this research is an e-module on biodiversity material for class X SMA students. The data used in this research is primary data which is then analyzed qualitatively and quantitatively. Based on the research that has been carried out, the average validation result value is 93% (very valid). The practicality test carried out on teachers obtained a result of 92% (very practical) and the practicality test carried out on students obtained a result of 91% (very practical). So, it can be concluded that the e-module on biodiversity material for class X SMA students that was developed is valid and very practical.

Abstract

This research aims to develop more interactive and interesting learning media for Class VIII SMP students in Islamic Religion subjects regarding the material of believing in the books of Allah. The media developed is based on educational games using the wordwall.net platform with box and open box quiz games. Media development follows the research and development model which consists of analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation stages. Validation was carried out by media and material experts, as well as small group trials to determine student responses. The result is a media word wall that is suitable for use based on the validators' criteria. Implementation in the classroom shows a significant increase in student learning outcomes. The learning process becomes more dynamic and students seem enthusiastic about learning through a game format on the wordwall. Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the effect of the model Problem Based Learning Media assisted Word Search Puzzles on the scientific communication skills of class X Phase E students at SMAN 1 Kotanopan. This research is an experimental research design Randomized Control Group Posttest Only Design. Sampling using techniques deliberate sampling namely sampling based on certain criteria. Class X-1 is the experimental class and class X-3 is the control class. The data analysis technique used is test independent sample t-test The prerequisite tests are first carried out, namely the normality test and homogeneity test. The research results showed that the scientific communication skills of students in the experimental class were higher than those in the control class. The results of the hypothesis test show a significance value of 0.021<0.05. So it can be concluded that the application of the model Problem Based Learning media assisted Word Search Confusing has a positive effect on students' scientific communication skills.

Abstract

One of the native fish species found on Bangka and Belitung Islands is the Cempedik Fish, also known as Kepait Fish (Osteochilus spilurus). Due to habitat degradation and overfishing, this species requires domestication efforts. Currently, the achieved domestication level is at the first stage, where the fish can survive in artificial environments. Therefore, research was conducted to enhance gonad maturation in Cempedik Fish by providing natural mosquito larvae feed. This study was carried out from July to September 2024, with fish samples collected from the waters of Tugang Village, West Bangka Regency. At the beginning of the study, the gonad maturity level (GML) of the Cempedik Fish was at stage II, where the gonads begin to partially fill the abdominal cavity. After 45 days of rearing with mosquito larvae feed, the gonad maturity increased to level III. Initially, the fish had a gonadosomatic index (GSI) of 1.28%. This GSI value increased to 1.97% on day 15, 3.7% on day 30, and 5.13% on day 45. These findings indicate a significant increase in gonad weight during the rearing period with natural mosquito larvae feed. The rise in GSI values for Cempedik Fish with natural mosquito larvae feed offers valuable information to support the domestication efforts for this species.

Abstract

This study aims to find out the extent to which the Problem Based Learning model, equipped with booklet and Quizizz media, affects student learning outcomes, especially at SMA Negeri 2 Waingapu. This type of research is experimental research with a quantitative approach. This study featured two classes: class XI-2 as the control group and class XI-1 as the experimental group. The stages of data analysis in this study include validity test, reliability test, normality test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis test through the parametric method, namely the dependent sample t-test, using SPSS software. The dependent sample t-test for hypothesis testing yields Asym results. The significance (2-tailed) is 0.001, indicating that the value is below 0.05. In conclusion, H1 was accepted by H0 fans, indicating the influence of the Problem Based Learning method, facilitated by the booklet media and supplemented by Quizizz, on the learning outcomes of students at SMA Negeri 2 Waingapu.

Abstract

Betta cf uberis merupakan ikan cupang alam atau wild betta yang tercatat ditemukan di Pulau Belitung, Indonesia. Populasinya terancam punah di alam akibat kerusakan habitat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui keberadaan B. cf uberis asal Belitung berdasarkan ciri alami habitat dan ekologi. Pengambilan data dilakukan di Desa Dukong, Kecamatan Simpang Pesak, Kabupaten Belitung Timur, dianalisis secara deskriptif eksploratif. Hasil yang diperoleh, Betta cf uberis perairan Belitung memiliki ciri habitat perairan rawa, dan dasar perairan berupa tanah basah berisikan gambut, tipe substrat berupa serasah daun dan akar pohon yang tenggelam serta ciri air berwarna coklat hingga kehitaman. Secara ekologi, B. cf uberis hidup berdampingan dengan 13 spesies ikan air tawar dan 3 spesies tumbuhan, salah satunya endemik Bangka Belitung yaitu Cryptocoryne bankanensis. Nilai kualitas air yang diperoleh, pH (4-5), suhu (27-28oC), oksigen terlarut (3.0 mg/L), dan Total Dissolve Solid/total padatan terlarut (0011 ppm). Kondisi habitat B. cf uberis dengan perairan rawa asam berisikan gambut mendukung hidupnya berbagai spesies ikan air tawar dan beberapa vegetasi, termasuk tumbuhan endemik. Adanya informasi mengenai ciri habitat dan ekologi Betta uberis untuk mengetahui keberadaan dan ciri habitat yang disukai B. cf uberis sebagai dasar konservasi.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the limited learning resources used by students and the lack of teacher ability in developing teaching materials in the form of LKPD. Apart from that, the teaching materials used in learning have not been integrated with Islamic values, causing a lack of student activity and interest in learning. The aim of this research is to produce teaching materials in the form of LKPD on Integrated Digestive System Material with Islamic Values ​​to Improve Critical Thinking in Class XI Students that are valid, effective and practical. This research is development research (R&D) using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate). The validity of the LKPD is obtained from the validation sheet. The validity of the LKPD in the media aspect got a percentage of 91.34%, in the material aspect it got a percentage of 85% and in the Islamic integration aspect it got a percentage of 83.33%. The practicality of LKPD is obtained from teacher response questionnaires and student responses. The practicality of the teacher response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 73.3% and the practicality of the student response questionnaire obtained a percentage of 98.7%. Abstract

This study is a classroom actio research aimed at describing students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes and the improvement in these outcomes at SMPN 1 Pahunga Lodu after applying the TGT model (Teams-Games-Tournament) supported by leaflet media and complemented by a Question Box. The research data were collected from questionnaires, interviews, and learning tests from students.The results of the study on the improvement in student learning outcomes are as follows: Pre-Cycle:Affective: High rating at 0%, medium rating at 26.67%, and low rating at 73.33%.Cognitive: 50% passed and 50% did not pass.Cycle I:Affective: High rating for 8 students (25%), medium rating for 18 students (56.25%), and low rating for 6 students (16.75%).Cognitive: 50% passed, and 50% did not pass.Cycle II:Affective: High rating at 90.62%, medium rating at 9.37%, and low rating at 0%. Cognitive: 80% passed, and 20% did not pass.It can be concluded that the application of the TGT model supported by leaflet media and complemented by a Question Box can improve students' cognitive and affective learning outcomes in science subjects.
