Abstract

The activity of filling in school data, student data, and student final grades in report card at elementary schools in the Insana Fafinesu District, Timor Tengah Utara Regency has been carried out in handwriting (conventional), which have some constraints such as taking a long time to processing grades, has a tendency to miscalculation if the student report card is lost or damaged, it does not have documentation/ back-up documents. For teachers who have sloppy handwriting, it will be difficult for a parent to read. One software that can be used in making student report cards is Microsoft Office Excel. This software is easy to understand and can overcome problems in making student report cards such as the length of time for processing grades, the tendency of grade processing error, difficulties in reading teacher writing by parents, and overcoming problems with documentation/backup documents. This service activity aims to provide training in making e-report card applications using Microsoft Excel for elementary school teachers in the Insana Fafinesu area, Timor Tengah Utara Regency. The methods used in this activity are workshops and ongoing mentoring. As a result, teachers better understand the functions in Microsoft Excel that are useful in the process of filling out student report cards, each teacher succeeds in making their own e-reports, and they agree that e-reports with Microsoft Excel are more efficient and effective than filling out report cards manually (conventional) and will use e-reports in their respective schools. The next plan for this service activity will be an application for Teacher Performance Assessment (TPA) and Employee Work Targets (EWT).

Abstract

CV. Marga Jaya Properti started its business in marble, natural granite, granite tile, traso, wood interior and developed in the field of construction services such as construction and renovation services for residential houses, hospitals and places of worship. The high business competition makes it difficult for companies to market which results are decreased sales and decreased production. This activity aims to analyze the business in order to overcome these problems by socializing the business model design using the Business Model Canvas (BMC) method. The BMC method is carried out by observation, literature study and Focus Group Discussion (FGD) between the Team and the experts. Companies must increase marketing activities, increase product added value and increase partnerships. Marketing activities should be carried out both online and offline. Online marketing can be added through online buying and selling forums, google ads, tik tok shop, twitter, email or telegram, while offline marketing can be added by participating in property exhibitions, distributing brochures, holding property webinars, and inviting customer to become marketing. The increase in added value can be done by free consultations for construction service, free delivery product for Bekasi area. The increase partnerships is by adding developers such as developers for handling electricity, water and so on in working on large projects, for example the construction of hospitals. The results of this Activity that are felt by owners and employees are their increased knowledge of business models which can increase marketing, increase sales and increase production.

Abstract

Garantung village in Maliku, Pulang Pisau, Palangka Raya is a village with peat land. The water contain high Ferrum (Fe) and Manganese (Mn), smelly and brown water, as an inflict the lack of clean water on village. Based on the problem mention, these community service by Palangka Raya University held. The water treatment activity held by apply a simple filtration system. The purpose of this community service is to help the villager, obtain clean water with simple and cheap method, using used pot, gravel, sand, flannel, and tissue. The water treatment activities start with the socialization about clean water and it’s containments, following with training. The result show that after simple water treatment applied the water color significantly change, so it is can be used to washing clothes and raw foods. In order to achieve the real clean wate it is needed another water treatment activities.

Abstract

Publication of scientific articles is needed by teachers to improve and develop competence and quality of learning. This community service activity aims to provide training to guru penggerak community on how to write scientific articles and introduce scientific journals. The results show that this activity is in demand and provides benefits to guru penggerak community. It can be seen that 69.09% of participants strongly agree that this activity is important to do.

Abstract

The by-product of processing snakehead fish albumin extract is obtained in the form of fish meat with a tasteless taste because the fish juice has been separated in the form of albumin extract. The by product can still be used as other processed products, by adding a mixture of spices to obtain a product, namely shredded fish. The objectives of this service activity are (1) to increase the added value of by product processing snakehead fish albumin extract into a selling value product, namely shredded fish and (2) as an effort to accelerate community empowerment in an area by utilizing local potential in the area. The method of PKM activities at LPM Kelurahan Sekumpul uses counseling, training, demonstration and evaluation techniques of service activities. The conclusions of this service activity, namely (1) the processing of shredded fish is an effort to optimize the utilization of by-product processing of snakehead fish albumin extract into products that have economic value; (2) shredded fish made from snakehead fish albumin can be an option to increase fish consumption in an effort to meet the nutritional adequacy of the community, especially the fulfillment of animal protein sources; (3) the results of the evaluation of the level of understanding of the target audience on the criteria of understanding and practicing the service material increased by 46.7%, then on the criteria of understanding and not practicing it decreased by 26.6% and on the criterion of understanding slightly decreased by 20%.

Abstract

The people of Dusun Banopo mostly work as farmers who produce a variety of agricultural products. One of the products produced is mung beans. The yield of bean sprouts is very good and plentiful, however the utilization of this product is still very low, especially in supporting family health and increasing family income. Most of the produce is sold immediately and a quarter of the harvested are usually left at home to be cooked with corn. Mung bean seeds can be germinated into bean sprouts which have a higher nutritional content and can be used as marketed products. This service activity was well received by the community, especially the women from the Women Farmers Group. This group gains knowledge and skills in making bean sprouts with media that can be taken from the surrounding environment. Besides being able to be used as a nutritious vegetable in improving family health, it can also marketed to increase family income.

Abstract

This article is based on the Program Abdi Mengajar (PAM) which seeks to find solutions to the problems faced by the Aulia Rahma Hasanah orphanage foundation which is located in the Kelurahan Karang Joang, Balikpapan Utara. The main problem faced by partners is the lack of funds and human resources to provide proper education to foster children, especially in formal education services. There is exists learning barriers that affect mentally disturbed children or commonly called intellectual disabilities. therefore in this community service activity, the concept of homeschooling services is designed to be able to provide knowledge, especially in the social field. The purpose of this community service activity is specifically help to improve the communication and socialization skills of mentally retarded children and provide supplementary informal educational services. From the activities that have been carried out, there have been positive developments related to attitudes and mental knowledge by foster children, although not significant enough. Continuous and intensive activities are still needed so that they can provide better benefits for the mental development and knowledge of mentally retarded children until they are completely healed.

Abstract

The mangrove ecosystem is categorized into the coastal ecosystem to be recognized and preserved so that it can be functional for the community and the environment. The community of OKL Street Library is a community group that exists in the area of the Beibleka mangrove ecosystem, Debunaruk Village – Malaka. Unfortunately, this community group is not yet familiar with both this type of mangrove species and the size of the ecosystem. The community service proposed is entitled a mangrove literacy strengthening at OKL Street Library for mangrove ecological sustainability in Debunaruk Village in the District of Malaka. This activity is targeted at the active users of OKL Street Library. The objective of this activity is to increase the knowledge in understanding various species types of mangroves ecosystem. Direct observation using information technology applications, namely Google Earth and the internet. The point is to enhance positive perception and real action in preserving the mangrove ecosystem that provides ecological and economic benefits to the community of Debunaruk-Tahak, the Dsitrict of Malaka. The area size calculation employs Google Earth and the introduction of mangrove species using the internet, through which learners are introduced to technology-based applications. This activity is conducted hand in hand between the OKL Street Library and the community service staff, both in setting the problem focus and activity alternatives. OKL SL got improvement knowledge and skills about the type and usages of mangroves and the implementation of Google Earth. We helped them by sharing some books too for the students.

Abstract

Bomo Beach or commonly called Ria Bomo Beach is one of the beach destinations that has begun to be famous in Banyuwangi Regency since the last three years. One of the marine life commodities caught by fish that is still often found is lemuru fish. Lemuru that is caught is usually sold to the market or sold to local residents at a low price, but if it still does not sell well, the local community reprocesses it into several processed lemuru, one of which is commonly found is pindang lemuru. The decoction of lemuru from household industrial food (PIRT) in making lemuru pindang is usually thrown in the sewer that empties into the sea, thus impacting water pollution. Lemuru decoction actually still contains protein, fat, and omega 3, it can still be reused into processed fish products to increase the added value of a commodity, namely nata de fish. Program Kemitraan Masyarakat Programe (PKM) activities are carried out with the aim of increasing the level of fishermen's income by making nata de fish products based on product diversification "zero waste and healthy food" whose main source of ingredients used is lemuru stew (waste from making lemuru pindang). The first step taken by the team was preliminary research aimed at obtaining the right formulation in making nata de fish. The formulation became the standard for making nata de fish to become the latest superior product based on "zero waste and healthy food" for the people of Bomo Banyuwangi. During the focus group discusion, training and socialization of nata de fish making, product packaging, and socialization of PIRT permit certificate registration were carried out. To support the bomo community in the process of making nata de fish, the team provided a fermentation incubation that functions to minimize pathogenic bacteria so that contamination does not occur during the fermentation process. The final result in socialization and training activities, the Bomo community succeeded in making nata de fish with raw materials for lemuru stew waste.

Abstract

Lorejo region is the entrance to the Nanggulan Tourism village, so it is very strategic to develop into an alternative tourist destination. One potential development program is the decorative plant. During the pandemic covid 19, the demand for decoratives plants was high, but after the end of the pandemic declined, and the income of the farmers decreased. Because the types of decorative plants cultivated are seasonal, and their prices fluctuate. Orchids can be chosen for cultivation to make a stable price and the business of integration between the cultivation of honeybees with decorative plants. The purpose of the activity was to increase business continuity and income for decorative plant farmers in groups. Orchid cultivation training can increase the knowledge and skills of cultivating, caring for, and how to breed orchids. Beekeeping training can increase farmers' knowledge about how to propagate colonies, maintenance and care, and plant sources of bee food. Based on monitoring and evaluation, it seems clear that there are prospects for the sustainability of the ornamental plant and bee farming business, even though it has not increased income.
