Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the level of physical fitness of class X students of SMKN 1 Singosari. This research method uses a descriptive quantitative approach. The population in this study was class X students of SMKN 1, namely 799 Singosari students. The sample size was 103 students. Data were collected through direct observation with TKJI measurements. The data analysis technique was carried out by calculating the average score of each type of test and comparing it with the TKJI national assessment category. male students showed 12 students in the very good category, 20 students in the good category, 11 students in the sufficient category, 6 students in the less category, and 1 student in the very less category. While female students showed 8 students in the excellent category, 31 students in the good category, 10 students in the sufficient category, 3 students in the less category, and 1 student in the very less category. These results indicate that 20 19% of students are in the excellent category. The results of the analysis showed that the majority of students had muscle strength in the “good” and “fair” categories, with the back-up test providing the best results. These findings suggest that students use their lower back muscles more than their arms and abdominals. In addition, male students are usually better than female students.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine how effective the use of sport education-based media through snakes and ladders games for students in improving learning achievement in the content of PJOK lessons. The background of this research is based on the low interest and direct involvement in physical learning which has only used conventional media in the form of LKS. This research method is quantitative using a quasi-experimental design. Data were collected using pretest and posttest tests in the form of cognitive physical fitness instruments. The results of homogeneity and normality test data show that it is feasible to analyze parametrically. In the paired sample t-test test there was a significant increase in the learning outcomes of experimental group students (p = 0.000), as well as differences in the independent sample t-test test there were significant differences between the experimental group and the control group. The average posttest score of the experimental group (77.69) was higher than the control (63.17). This finding shows that the snakes and ladders game based on sport education actively contributes to improving learning outcomes which include cognitive, active participation, and motor skills of students in learning PJOK. This media can be an innovative and fun alternative when learning physical education in elementary schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of boi-boian games on improving students' basic manipulative movement skills. The research method uses a quasi-experimental design experiment. The research sample was 64 fourth-grade students of SD Islam Teladan Suci using a total sampling technique. The research instrument was a test and measurement of throwing and catching abilities, with criterion validity based on established standards. The results showed that there was a difference in the average throwing and catching scores of the control class 11.41 and the experimental class 27.47 with a difference of 16.06. In addition, the results of the statistical test showed a significance value (sig. 2-tailed) of 0.000, which was smaller than the significance level of 0.05, indicating a significant difference between the control class and the experimental class. These findings indicate that boi-boian games contribute to improving basic manipulative movement skills by improving students' throwing and catching. This study provides important implications for teachers and schools in designing effective game programs and improving the atmosphere of students' PJOK learning. Thus, the boi-boian game can be used as one of the traditional games to improve the quality of basic manipulative movement skills in learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the baseball game on increasing students' interpersonal intelligence. The research method uses quantitative with quasi experimental design. The population in this study was 52 students using total sampling technique. Data collection is done through a questionnaire with statements about interpersonal intelligence. While the data analysis technique uses Kolmogorov-Smirnov, the normality test results show the sig value of the experimental class 0.200 greater than 0.05 and the control class 0.054 greater than 0.05 so that the data is normally distributed. The results showed a significance value of 0.000 smaller than 0.05, so it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the scores of experimental and control class students after treatment. the results of students' interpersonal intelligence on the prosttest results in the control class fell into the low category as many as 3 students (11%) and in the medium category as many as 23 students (89%). While the categorization of the results of students' interpersonal intelligence in the experimental class after the treatment of the baseball game in the medium category was 4 students (14%) and the high category was 22 students (86%). From this it can be concluded that the baseball game on interpersonal intelligence is effective in grade VI students of Teladan Suci Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of athletic learning media modifications on improving students' affective learning outcomes. The research method uses quantitative with quasi experimental design. The research population is 58 students using the total sampling technique. This research instrument uses a questionnaire. Kolmogorov-Smirnov with SPSS 26 shows the sig value. The results of the Kolmogorov smirnov and Shapiro Wilk tests show a significant value of the control class of 0.264> 0.05 and the control class of 0.098> 0.05 affective learning outcomes in throwing number athletic games, so it is concluded that the residual values are both normally distributed. in the low category as many as 3 students (11%) and in the medium category as many as 25 students (89%). While the categorization of affective results of student learning in the experimental class after the treatment of athletic throwing games in the moderate category was 14 students (14%) and the high category was 24 students (86%). The results of the research hypothesis significance value of 0.000 is smaller than 0.05, it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the control class and experimental class post so that H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. Hypothesis testing in this study shows that the modification of learning media for athletic throwing numbers is effective on the affective learning outcomes of fifth grade students of Teladan Suci Islamic Elementary School.

Abstract

This study aims to develop a kata training model in karate through game-based methods to enhance technical skills, motivation, and self-confidence among beginner athletes (kohai). Based on observations and questionnaires conducted at INKANAS Dojo in Donggala Regency, several issues were identified such as low athlete motivation, monotonous training routines, and lack of engaging learning methods. To address these challenges, the researcher designed a structured and enjoyable game-based training model tailored for children aged 8–13 years. This research employed a Research and Development (R&D) approach, adapting the eight-step development model by Borg and Gall. Validation was conducted by subject matter, media, and game experts, while product trials involved a total of 24 kohai in small and large-scale testing. Results showed high feasibility and effectiveness, with an average validity score of 93.33%, motivation improvement of 96%, and kata technique mastery reaching 92%. The developed model enriches training variation and significantly improves karate learning quality. The resulting training guidebook can be widely used by coaches across dojos as an applicable and fun training tool, supporting the holistic development of athletes' character and skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine students' interest in using interactive media in PJOK learning and teachers' opinions about the use of interactive media. This study used a quantitative descriptive approach. The population of this study were teachers and 4th grade students of three elementary schools in South Banjarbaru District, The sample of this study consisted of 5 instructors and 94 students. The tool used was a questionnaire, and data was collected using a purposive sampling strategy. This study measured teachers' and students' responses to the interactive media using a questionnaire sheet with a 5-point Likert scale. The results of research on student interest in interactive media in the category strongly agree indicators of knowledge, category agree indicators of pleasure, interest, understanding, enthusiasm, activeness, help, ease, no difficulty, category less agree indicators less happy. The results of research on teacher responses to interactive media in the category strongly agree indicators of pleasure, and interest, category agree indicators of help, ease, enthusiasm, support, application, motivation, category disagree indicators of difficulty, category strongly disagree indicators of not interested. The knowledge indicator occupies a strongly agreed category of 47.87%, indicating that interactive media contributes to increasing student insight. Abstract

This study aims to determine and analyze the role of PJOK teachers in implementing the 7 habits of great Indonesian children in Tapin Utara District. The problem is how PJOK teachers can internalize character values. This research uses a mixed methods approach with quantitative and qualitative descriptive methods. The population in this study were all elementary and junior high school PJOK teachers in North Tapin District, with a sample of 20 teachers taken using purposive sampling technique. The instruments used were Likert scale questionnaires and interviews. Quantitative data analysis techniques were carried out descriptively statistically, while qualitative data were analyzed using an analysis model that included data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that PJOK teachers play an important role in integrating healthy living habits and character values through physical activity, with the indicators “love to learn” and “exercise” showing the highest achievements. This research contributes to the expansion of the function of physical education as a vehicle for student character development, as well as showing the need for synergy between schools and parents. In conclusion, character education based on physical education has great potential if supported by reflective learning strategies, adequate facilities, and cross-role collaboration.

Abstract

This study aims to compare the teaching and learning process of PJOK subjects that implement the 2013 Curriculum and the Merdeka Curriculum. The study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques through questionnaires, interviews, and documentation. The population in the study was 82 students. Sampling using purposive sampling technique, the number was 64 students. The results showed that the 2013 Curriculum provides a more systematic and directed learning structure, which has a positive impact on students' active involvement and motivation. On the other hand, Merdeka Curriculum provides flexibility for teachers and students to explore learning according to local interests and contexts, but its implementation still faces challenges, such as teacher and student readiness, and understanding of formative assessment. The 2013 curriculum obtained a higher % “strongly agree”. Students' active engagement was generally higher in Curriculum 2013, with 86% of students expressing “agree” or “strongly agree” to various statements regarding their engagement in learning. Meanwhile, in the Merdeka Curriculum, the percentage decreased to 75%. The conclusion shows that Curriculum 2013 is more effective in increasing PJOK students' engagement and motivation due to structured and directed learning. Meanwhile, the Merdeka Curriculum offers greater flexibility and opportunities for exploration, but its implementation still faces challenges.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of training using dempel weights on the speed of front kicks of PSHT fighters in Rayon MTs AL-Khaeriyah NW Semoyang. The main problem in this study is the low front kick speed shown by athletes during training and matches. The type of research used is an experiment with a descriptive quantitative approach with a one group pretest-posttes design. The population of this study were adolescent pencak silat athletes. The techniques used in data collection are tests and measurements. The instrument used is Pacing pad / sandak. The results of data analysis show an increase in the average value from 20.5 in the pretest to 28.5 in the posttest. 1 athlete scored 14% poorly, no athletes scored 0% poorly, 5 athletes scored 72% fair, 1 athlete scored 14% good and no athletes scored 0% good. The t test produces a t count of 22.362, greater than the t table of 3.588 which means there is a significant influence between training using dempel weights on front kick speed. It is concluded that training using dempe weights can significantly improve the physical abilities and performance of front kicks of pencak silat athletes.
