Objective: The purpose of this study was to determine the dynamics of self-regulation of regular students and working students in the first year of college and the factors that influence self-regulation. Method: This research is aphenomenological qualitative research with semi-structured interview method. The analysis technique is Interpretative Phenomenological Analysis (IPA).Result: The results found that the choice to continue further study was influencedby internal and external factors from each student concerned. There are severalaspects of self-regulation that are quite influential, namely time management, goal orientation and motivation regulation, which of course have differentcharacteristics between regular and working students. Abstract

Currently, there is a lot of advanced technology and equipment in use, but it willnot be able to support the company in achieving its goals without support fromemployees. PT.X is a company that is developing and is not free from variousproblems. This study aims to determine the effect of the need for appreciationand group cohesiveness on the work motivation of PT.X employees in Gresik. This research is a type of correlational research with a quantitative approach. The sampling technique used was the saturated sampling technique, with a totalof 47 employees. The scale used for this study is a Likert scale with 5 answerchoices. The validity test used is content validity and for the reliability test usingCornbach's alpha analysis. The data analysis technique used is multiple linearregression test. The results of this study indicate that the significance value ofthe appreciation need variable is 0.008 > 0.05, then Ha is rejected and Ho isaccepted, which means that there is no influence of the need for appreciation onemployee work motivation. The group cohesiveness variable obtained asignificance value of 0.000 <0.05, so it can be concluded that Ha is acceptedand Ho is rejected, which means that there is an effect of group cohesiveness onemployee work motivation. The contribution of the variable to the esteem needsvariable is 8%, while the group cohesiveness variable is 80%.

Abstract

Background: Body dissatisfaction is caused by individuals comparing theirperceived body image with other people, overestimating body shape anddrastic changes in their body. Objective: This research was conducted to testwhether there was an influence between self-compassion on bodydissatisfaction in XY integrated healthcare center mothers with a total of 46subjects. Based on the analysis results obtained from the simple linearregression test, the sig value was 0.044. Method: This research is a type ofquantitative research with simple regression analysis which measures themagnitude of the influence between the dependent variable and theindependent variable .the subjects in this study were 46 mothes were membersof posyandu XY. Result: This means that the significant value is 0.05, so it canbe seen that self-compassion (x) influences body dissatisfaction(y),Conclusion: It was concluded that the results of hypothesis testingobtained a simple linear regression value of self-compassion on bodydissatisfaction with a sig value. (2-tailed) of 0.044. Compared to thesignificance level of 0.05 (5%), this sig (2-tailed) value is 0.05 (5%) smaller. This means that there is an influence of the self-compassion variable (X) onbody dissatisfaction (Y). This research shows a figure of 0.089, which meansthe self-compassion variable contributes 8.9% to the body dissatisfactionvariable.

Abstract

Objective: This research aims to examine empirically whether there is arelationship between self-compassion and self-injury in first semester students,Faculty of Psychology, Unissula Semarang. Method: This research isquantitative using correlational methods. The research subjects were 88 firstsemester students consisting of 72 women and 16 men. The subject samplingtechnique used purposive sampling. This research data was collected using twoscales. The self-injury scale from Fiqria (2018) has an alpha reliability of 0.950,and the self-compassion scale from Susanti (2019) which has an alpha reliabilityof 0.920. Result: Research data analysis used non-parametric Spearmancorrelation, because the data distribution did not normal. The result obtained acorrelation coefficient of -0.437, and a significance level of 0.000 (p < 0.05)using Spearman's rho correlation. This correlation is stated to be quite strong(0.26 – 0.50 quite strong correlation category). Conclusion: It can be concludedthat the hypothesis is accepted, that there is a significant negative relationship between self-compassion and self-injury. The higher the student's self-compassion, the lower the student's self-injury, and vice versa.
