Abstract

Company value is an important thing that investors must know. Company value provides a separate view for investors on the ability of a company in an effort to provide maximum benefits to investors. Company values are subject to change at any time. The value of the company can be influenced by internal as well as external factors. This study aims to determine profitability, company size and capital structure to company value. For future research, this study will be useful to examine the influence between variables. The research library method, sourced from Mendeley, Google Scholar, and other academic online media is used to discuss how variables influence. The results of this literature review article are as follows: 1) profitability affects the value of the company; 2) the size of the company affects the value of the company; and 3) capital structure affects the value of the company.

Abstract

The purpose of this research are to know the influence of motivation, work environment, competence and compensation toward work satisfaction and employees performance in Public Work Agency of Bali Province. 150 sample were selected by stratified proportional random sampling among Public Work Agency of Bali Province employees. Data were collected by questionnaires and SEM were applies as an analysis technique. Based on statistical analysis, motivation and work environment have not significant influence toward work satisfaction but competence and compensation does have. Motivation and competence do not have significant influence toward employees performance but work environment and compensation does have. The implication is motivation, work environment, competence, and compensation need to be increased in order to improve employees work satisfaction. The increase of work satisfaction will be able to improve employees performance.

Abstract

This study discusses the determination of cloud storage and IT infrastructure for file security. The purpose of this study is to find out whether the application of cloud storage plays a role in securing files and implementing IT infrastructure plays a role in securing files. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, which aims to obtain hypotheses for further research. The results of this study include: 1) Cloud storage plays a role in securing files, where by implementing and using cloud storage, companies can more easily access cloud computing. So that it does not require disk space on hardware and 2) IT infrastructure plays a role in securing files, where with adequate IT infrastructure such as: network, hardware and software it will make it easier for companies to secure files. Other IT infrastructure that can be done is in the form of developing the speed of the company's internet network, in addition to making it easier for company employees to convey information. High internet speed is also useful in transferring and securing files and backing up files. If one of the company's hardware is attacked by a virus, the data can be quickly transferred with high internet speed. Another infrastructure is the development of its own applications, so that companies can easily control and operate applications according to the wishes and needs of the company. There are other factors that affect file security, including: 1) Employee performance; 2) Employee education; and 3) Competitive advantage.

Abstract

The article Literature Review the Effect of Information Technology Infrastructure and the Internet of Things on Defense Industry Management Information Systems is a literature review scientific article. The purpose of this article is to build a hypothesis of the influence or role between variables that will be used in future research, within the scope of management information systems science. The method of writing articles is a library research method, which is sourced from online media such as Google Scholar, Mendeley and other academic online media. The results of this article are: 1) Information technology infrastructure affects the defense industry management information system partially; 2) The Internet of things affects the defense industry management information system partially; and 3) Information technology infrastructure and the internet of things have a partial effect on the defense industry management information system. Apart from these 2 exogen variables that affect the endogenous variables of the defense industry driver's license, there are still other factors including employee capability, encryption and employee education.

Abstract

This study has the objective of strengthening the testing of the work environment and workload on the separation of employees between workplaces, which in this context is referred to as turnover intention. This study uses job satisfaction as an intervention variable. The method used to analyze the data is Smart PLS, using a saturated sample that includes the entire population, namely 82 employees. The results of the statistical processing found that all the variables tested had a significant positive effect. First, work can be influenced by work environment satisfaction. Second, work can also be affected by the burden of job satisfaction. Furthermore, the work environment is proven to affect turnover intention, as well as workload which also has an impact on turnover intention. In addition, turnover intention is also influenced by job satisfaction. All of these effects occur using job satisfaction as the intervening variable.

Abstract

This research is related to consumer behavior when purchasing a smartphone one of product that is closely related to technology. The purpose of this study is to determine marketing strategies by analyzing consumer behavior both rational aspect and emotional aspects. The independent variables represent rational aspect are technology, price perception, e-WoM, while emotional aspect represented by Emotion variable, and Trust is selected as a mediator variable of rational aspect. As the dependent variable is the intention to buy a smartphone. This research is a quantitative research, the sample used in this study was taken by purposive sampling method with the criteria of the respondent is smartphones users. The number of samples in this study is 338 respondents. The analysis used in the research uses structure equation modeling (SEM) to test the hypotheses in the proposed research model.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of Job Demand and personal resources on employees' Work Engagement at PT Pegadaian Head Office, with Burnout as a mediator. The researchers used a quantitative approach and hypothesis testing to investigate the relationships between independent variables (Job Demand and personal resources) and the dependent variable (Work Engagement) using the Partial Least Square-Structural Equation Model. They distributed questionnaires to 267 employees out of a total of 792 working at PT Pegadaian Head Office. Four out of seven hypotheses in this study were confirmed and accepted. The findings indicated that Job Demand and personal resources have a significant and positive direct influence on Work Engagement. However, the direct impact of personal resources on Work Engagement was not found to be significant. Interestingly, the study also revealed that Burnout acts as a mediator between personal resources and Work Engagement. In conclusion, this research sheds light on the interplay of Job Demand, personal resources, Burnout, and Work Engagement among employees at PT Pegadaian Head Office.
