Abstract

Indonesia faces significant challenges in environmental management, marked by severe air pollution and the low compliance of industries with environmental regulations. The government has established a legal framework through Law No. 32 of 2009 and Government Regulation No. 22 of 2021, which introduced two key instruments: the Environmental Impact Assessment (AMDAL) and the Corporate Performance Rating Program in Environmental Management (PROPER). However, compliance remains low, with thousands of companies in the red category, even though the number of PROPER participants increased from 4,520 companies in 2023–2024 to a target of 5,476 companies in 2025. This study aims to analyze the role of environmental laboratories in supporting regulatory compliance by examining the effects of sustainability awareness, corporate environmental commitment, regulatory pressure, and perceived environmental responsibility on corporate compliance. A quantitative approach was applied using 210 respondents, analyzed through descriptive statistics and SEM-PLS. The results reveal that sustainability awareness, corporate environmental commitment, and regulatory pressure significantly influence compliance, while perceived environmental responsibility acts as a mediating variable. These findings highlight the strategic role of environmental laboratories in providing scientific data for AMDAL and PROPER assessments, strengthening regulatory integration, and encouraging industries to adopt laboratories as strategic partners to improve compliance and promote sustainability

Abstract

Operational safety in cargo loading and unloading activities at Jetty Nusantara is greatly influenced by the effectiveness of scheduling land crane usage, which depends on two main factors: land crane maintenance and land crane operator skills. Several issues often encountered, such as reliance on designated cargo handling (PBM) parties, unexpected breakdowns of land cranes, and insufficient operator skills in crane operations, can affect operational safety. Poorly managed scheduling also worsens operational conditions, leading to fatigue, equipment damage, and an increased risk of workplace accidents. This study aims to analyze the impact of land crane maintenance and land crane operator skills on scheduling crane usage and its impact on operational safety in cargo loading and unloading at PT Samudera Maritime Indonesia. Using a quantitative approach and cross-sectional design, this study involved 70 respondents selected using the Slovin formula. The collected data were analyzed using SmartPLS software. The results of the study show that land crane maintenance and land crane operator skills have a positive and significant effect on scheduling crane usage and operational safety in cargo loading and unloading. The findings indicate that quality training and adequate training facilities can enhance employees' ability to manage risks and improve their performance. Effective scheduling also contributes to improved operational safety. The recommendations from this study are for PT Samudera Maritime Indonesia to continue improving land crane maintenance and the quality of training to support operational safety in the future.

Abstract

This study examines the impact of brainstorming techniques and story development in digital marketing campaigns on engagement, conversion rates, and brand awareness. The use of brainstorming techniques that involve collaboration among marketing teams generates more creative, relevant, and engaging campaign ideas for the audience, which increases interactions such as likes, shares, and comments, as well as encourages further actions like purchases. Meanwhile, structured and emotional story development can create a deeper connection between the brand and the audience, ultimately enhancing brand awareness in the market. This study shows that both techniques can significantly improve the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns, in terms of boosting audience engagement, conversion rates, and brand recognition. The practical implications of this research suggest that companies should involve the entire team in brainstorming sessions to create fresher and more relevant campaign ideas. Moreover, emotional storytelling development should be an integral part of marketing strategies. This research also opens up opportunities to compare brainstorming techniques with other creative methods and explore their application across various industry sectors. The findings of this study can enrich content marketing and storytelling theories, and serve as a guide for companies in designing more effective and creative digital marketing campaigns

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the impact of work-life balance and time management on the academic achievement of part-time university students in Yogyakarta, with social support as a moderating variable. The research addresses the growing challenge faced by students managing both academic and professional responsibilities. A quantitative approach was applied using a survey of 155 purposively selected part-time students. Validated instruments measured work-life balance, time management, academic achievement, and social support. Moderated regression analysis (MRA) in SPSS revealed that the final model accounted for 98.4% of the variance in academic achievement (R2 = 0.984). Both work-life balance (? = -0.292, p < 0.001) and time management (? = -0.344, p < 0.001) had significant negative effects. However, social support positively moderated both relationships, reducing their negative impact (interaction effects: ? = 0.926 and ? = 0.880, respectively). The finding emphasizes the importance of institutional support and training to help students manage dual roles effectively.

Abstract

This study examines the influence of facilities and services on Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) satisfaction and activity levels at the Integrated Business Service Center in Surakarta. Using a quantitative approach with Structural Equation Modeling-Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS), data were collected from 100 MSME participants through questionnaires. The research model investigated seven hypotheses examining direct and indirect relationships between facilities, services, satisfaction, and activity levels. Results demonstrate that facilities significantly influence satisfaction (β=0.325, p<0.05) and indirectly affect activity through satisfaction (β=0.114, p<0.05). Services strongly predict both satisfaction (β=0.765, p<0.001) and activity (β=0.833, p<0.001), with satisfaction serving as a mediator (β=0.637, p<0.001). The model explains 86.2% variance in activity and 94.6% in satisfaction, indicating robust predictive power. These findings suggest that improving service quality and facility infrastructure at business incubation centers can enhance MSME engagement and satisfaction, contributing to sustainable business development initiatives

Abstract

This study synthesizes five empirical investigations on Fear of Missing Out (FoMO) across different digital consumer contexts. The research objects include consumer purchases in the metaverse, tourism experience sharing on social media, influencer-driven purchase intentions, online learning among university students, and SMEs’ marketing performance. The main objective is to explore how FoMO shapes decision-making, social interaction, academic well-being, and marketing outcomes. The studies employed quantitative survey-based designs with diverse samples from Europe, South America, Asia, and Africa, analyzed using clustering, non-parametric tests, and structural equation modeling. The results consistently show that FoMO drives impulsive buying, intensifies digital self-presentation, mediates the effect of influencers on purchase intention, contributes to academic burnout, and strengthens the impact of social media advertising on business performance. Overall, FoMO emerges as a critical factor in understanding consumer behavior and digital marketing strategies across global contexts
