Abstract

This study aims for intelligent emotional intelligence with student achievement in learning physics class X SMK Swasta St. Aloisius Ruteng for the 2019/2020 academic year. The type of research used is tracking in a quantitative approach. The population in this study were students of class X Light Vehicle Engineering (TKR) SMK St. Aloisius Ruteng and the sample in this study were class X TKR A assigned to 35 people. With the sampling technique purposive sampling. Retrieval of data, namely questionnaires and documentation. Data analysis used normality test, linearity test and hypothesis test. The result of this study is the absence of emotional intelligence with the learning achievement of students in class X SMK Swasta St. Aloisius Ruteng. This is evidenced by the calculation of the correlation test obtained by 0.010 with a sig α = 0.05, so 0.010 <0.05.

Abstract

Analysis of vertical motion in free fall and bullet motion with the video tracking method has been carried out. This study aims to analyze the vertical motion pattern in the free fall and bullet motion, specifically the ball launching from the edge of the table. The research was carried out by rolling the ball until it slid and releasing the ball from the edge of the table until it experienced a free fall motion with the height of the table from the two activities of about 1 meter. This activity was carried out repeatedly until obtaining 5 videos of each event and recorded using the Vivo android camera. Furthermore, researchers analyzed using the Tracker application to obtain information data about vertical motion patterns, graphs of changes in position with time, and graphs of velocity against time. Result regressive analysis can derive equations Vy = Ax + B and Y = Ax + B

Abstract

Cognitive ability is the student's mastery of the cognitive realm. This study aimed to determine student learning outcomes and what factors caused student errors in solving cognitive test questions on temperature and heat material. The type of research is descriptive quantitative research. The population in this study were students in class XI IPA at SMA Negeri 2 Bontang, amounting to 3 classes with a total sample size of 30 students in class XI IPA 1 and 30 students in class XI IPA 2. Data collection was used to test techniques in the form of 10 essay questions to determine learning outcomes. The results showed that student learning outcomes in solving cognitive test questions on temperature and heat material at the creating level (C6) were categorized as lacking because only 30%, at the level of evaluating (C5) and analyzing (C4) 56% and 66% respectively. The cognitive abilities of students at the level of remembering (C1) and understanding (C2) have shown very well because the percentage obtained is relatively high, namely remembering (C1) by 97% and understanding (C2) by 84%. Moreover, students' cognitive abilities at the level of applying (C3) were good because the percentage obtained was 81%. Students' most common error factors when solving cognitive test questions in terms of temperature and heat were misconceptions, strategy errors, errors in using data, and calculation errors. Error factors that often appear, especially in concept errors, need to get more attention to support students' learning physics.

Abstract

The misconception is one of the problems in learning physics at school. From several studies that have been done, it is found that many students have misconceptions that affect students in learning and understanding the concepts of physics. This study aims to collect data and analyze articles related to approach efforts. Cognitive conflict in physics learning to overcome misconceptions of physics. The design used is a literature review. The articles were collected using a search engine, namely Google Scholar. Based on the articles collected, the results showed that the students' failure to connect a physics concept that had been studied was a factor of physics my conception. This ultimately affects student learning outcomes. The role of the teacher in this learning is that students are used as learning objects as passive recipients of the information who only listen and take notes. And try to explore development. envision the ability of students to think critically which leads to the formation of a more independent student character.

Abstract

Critical thinking skills are one of the abilities that students need to have in learning because of the development of science. The formulation of the problem is how the influence of LKPD Based on Local Wisdom Karapan Sapi on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The difference from previous research is that local wisdom is chosen to be integrated into science learning. The purpose of this research is to know the effect of LKPD Based on Local Wisdom Karapan Sapi on critical thinking skills and learning outcomes. The method used was Quasi Experiment and then statistical analysis . The result of the t-test data analysis is the value of Sig. (2-tailed) 0.000 <0.05, meaning that there is a significant difference between the experimental class and the control class. LKPD based on local wisdom is very helpful in learning science and aims to build the value of the nation's cultural character.

This type of research uses survey research using a qualitative descriptive approach. The subjects in this study were physics subject teachers, totaling 1 person and all students of class X science at SMA Muhammadiyah totaling 20 people. Data collection techniques in this study are questionnaires (questionnaire sheets), interviews, documentation, and observations. The results obtained from this research show that the effectiveness of learning physics from the homes of class X MIA students at SMA Muhammadiyah Ende during the corona virus period is categorized as quite effective, with the percentage gain for each indicator, namely for the first indicator, the percentage is 70%. with an effective category, the second indicator has a percentage of 56% with a moderately effective category, the third indicator has a percentage of 60% with a moderately effective category, the fourth indicator has a percentage of 58% with a moderately effective category, the fifth indicator has a percentage of 65% with an effective category, and the sixth indicator has a percentage of 58% with quite effective category. The average percentage gain of the five indicators is 61%. This shows that the effectiveness of learning physics from the homes of class X MIA students at SMA Muhammadiyah Ende during the corona virus period is categorized as effective, but there are some that are quite effective.

Abstract

River Tubing's local potential-based learning video is an alternative for developing learning tools by implementing local potential into science learning. This research is a development research that uses the Plomp development model which is adjusted to 4 stages. This study aims to describe the validity of River Tubing's local potential-based science learning videos, find out the practicality of River Tubing's local potential-based science learning videos in terms of the implementation of learning using science learning videos, and determine the effectiveness of River Tubing's science learning videos. Tubing's local potential-based science learning video in terms of ability. students' critical thinking and to find out student responses. River Tubing's local potential-based science learning video on substance pressure material in junior high school is valid with a final validity result of 60%-80% in the fairly valid category. Field trials were conducted in class VIII B of SMP Negeri 2 Tempurejo with 32 students. The results of practicality show that the level of implementation reaches a fairly practical category, namely 70% p <80% and the results of the effectiveness of using student critical thinking skills tests and student response questionnaires, student responses to science learning videos based on local potential River Tubing can be said to be good if the student response category is minimal pretty good category.

Abstract

This Best Practice writing aims to describe the improvement of mathematics learning outcomes through the use of a Pen Tablet with the Zoom application. The subjects of this best practice writing are students of class XII MIPA-3 SMAN 2 Tanggul in the odd semester 2021/2022 academic year, totaling 34 students on the Derivatives of Trigonometric Functions. Quantitative data were obtained from quiz scores and daily tests using multiple choice written test techniques using Google Form. From the implementation of mathematics learning using a pen tablet and the Zoom application, an increase in student learning outcomes was obtained, seen from the average value and classical student learning completeness. The average score for quiz 1 is 64.12 and quiz 2 is 79.12. This means that from quiz 1 to quiz 2 there is an increase of 15% From quiz 2 with an average of 79.12 to daily tests to 86, 76 increased by 7.64% . Judging from the mastery of learning also increased. Quiz 1 learning completeness classically is 32.35%, quiz 2 is 70.59%, and daily test is 85.29%. This means that there is an increase from quiz 1 to quiz 2 by 38.24% while from quiz 2 to daily tests it increases by 14.7%. This best practice shows an increase in mathematics learning outcomes through the use of a Pen Tablet with the Zoom application, especially for class XII MIPA-3 students of SMAN 2 Tanggul in the odd semester of the 2021/2022 academic year.
