Abstract

PT. ASM is a company operating in the steel sector. In production, it is of course important to maintain machine productivity to maintain production quality performance. In the research, problems were found in the form of machine damage which resulted in production stopping. In this research, the Statistical Quality Control (SQC) method is applied as a quality management approach to control process and product quality by integrating Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and SQC. In research, there are two types of data, namely primary data and secondary data which are used as references to facilitate the problem solving process. Primary data was obtained through interviews related to the production process, machine function, and causes of defects in production, while secondary data was obtained from company data recaps related to defects in production. Based on the results of the Pareto diagram, it was found that 55% of the problems were imprecise, while 45% were caused by iron cracking during the production process. Thus, it can be concluded that product defects are mainly caused by cracks in the iron and lack of precision in the machine

Abstract

The use of website technology is an effective solution for BBMKG Region I Medan in overcoming obstacles to managing equipment maintenance which still uses manual logbooks. By building a website-based maintenance logbook information system using the waterfall method from SDLC, technicians can manage equipment, accounts, crew and maintenance data efficiently. The system analysis and modeling stages using UML are the basis for designing the implemented system. By using the programming languages PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and the MySql database server, this system has succeeded in increasing technician effectiveness, producing accurate information, and minimizing data errors. It is hoped that this system will be an effective solution in managing maintenance of BBMKG Region I Medan equipment, supporting digital transformation which is currently developing rapidly.

Abstract

Backfold Market, a business currently relying on conventional sales and social media, recognizes the need for technological advancement. To address this, they aim to establish a sales platform in the form of a website. This website will serve as a marketplace for second-brand clothes from renowned brands. The user centered design (UCD) method guides the development of the user interface and user experience. By focusing on users at every stage, the UCD method ensures that each design aligns with user needs. Through interviews identifies user goals and desires, translating them into requirements and features. The resulting designs and prototypes are evaluated using the Maze.design application, achieving an impressive average usability score of 97. This score indicates that the website’s interface design is user-friendly and easy to navigate for its audience.

Abstract

Breast cancer has become on of the leading causes of death in Indonesia. This study contributes to global efforts to combat breast cancer by improving patient outcome prediction accuracy. This study employed ensemble learning techniques such as Random Forest, XGBoost, and LightGBM. The results of the study demonstrates LightGBM's superior performance (accuracy=85%, ROC-AUC=81%, AUPR=85%). Notably, all three algorithms identify key clinical attributes: "Relapse Free Status (Months)", "Overall Survival (Months)", "Nottingham Prognostic Index", and "Lymph Nodes Examined Positive". LightGBM uniquely highlights "pam50_LumA" as significant, suggesting reduced fatality risk for Luminal A subtype patients, while others prioritize "Tumor Size". This research lays groundwork for intelligent systems to predict breast cancer outcomes, potentially transforming patient care and clinical practice.

Abstract

The telemedicine software lets users schedule appointments with physicians or hospitals, purchase medications online, read health-related news and publications, and have online consultations with doctors. Public opinion is necessary for this application to meet societal needs. The public's perception of contemporary health applications can be ascertained by looking to public opinion. Fine-grained sentiment analysis is used in public opinion taking to extract information from evaluations posted by the public and categorize it into positive and negative groups. Using RapidMiner as a supporting tool, sentiment analysis uses the Naïve Bayes Classification algorithm and Support Vector Machine to determine an accuracy value. After analyzing data from two different sources—Twitter and Playstore—it can be said that the Support Vector Machine algorithm performs 90.99% more accurately in predicting public opinion than the Naïve Bayes algorithm, which achieves 88.55% accuracy.

Abstract

PT Powertek Industri Mandiri is a company engaged in the procurement of goods and services of servo services, inverters (VFD) and panels, in the implementation of internships at PT Powertek Industri Mandiri experienced obstacles in terms of productivity, many were not resolved. Therefore, the OMAX method is used to help solve productivity problems, especially in the service area. The data used in the analysis includes the results of interviews and data on completed and uncompleted work orders. From the results of the analysis using the OMAX method, the results can be concluded from the initial objective, namely The best productivity is estimated to occur in August 2022, which is 750 and the lowest is 400 in March and December, and data from the TLS system shows that quality and quantity affect the company's productivity

Abstract

UD.XYZ is a songkok product manufacturing company headquartered in Gresik City. The company is still facing some shortcomings in its products. Therefore, companies must ensure stable product quality and reduce the risk of errors. When faced with a situation like this, quality control is very necessary to reduce the error rate and ensure that it does not exceed predetermined limits. In this research, FMEA and FTA methods were used. Implementing FMEA helps identify risks of error during the carpet manufacturing process. By using FMEA, defects that cause product failure can be identified and the risk of process failure assessed using the RPN value. The fault with the highest RPN will be analyzed in more detail using the FTA method to build a fault tree, from which the root of the problem can be identified. Based on the FTA results, improvement proposals are prepared in the hope of reducing the level of product defects. Research finds that there are three types of defects. The stitching is not neat (RPN=112), the embroidery is not good (RPN=100), and the size is not appropriate (RPN= 90).

Abstract

PT. XYZ merupakan produsen pupuk terlengkap di Indonesia. Salah satu aktivitas yang dilakukan dalam menunjang proses produksi pupuk yaitu analisis batu bara yang akan digunakan sebagai penggerak mesin produksi. Selama proses analisis ini diketahui sering kali terdapat gerakan bolak-balik karena penempatan alat-alat / fasilitas analisis yang tidak beraturan dan jauhnya jarak antar fasilitas. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengurangi ongkos dan jarak material handling, salah satu metodologi yang cocok digunakan untuk menganalisis kondisi tersebut yaitu FTC, metodologi ini memiliki kelebihan untuk menentukan besarnya efektivitas material handling baik fordward maupun backward sera dapat memberikan layout usulan yang lebih efektif. Hasil penelitian diketahui bahwa terdapat efisiensi ongkos material handling sebesar Rp 103,071 perhari disebabkan karena menurunnya jarak antar fasilitas sebanyak 67,34 meter. Hal tersebut dapat mengefisiensi OMH maupun jarak antar fasilitas sebesar 38,48% serta persentase forward meningkat sebesar 8,16% menjadi 81,24%.

Abstract

Pengelasan SMAW, merupakan metode umum dalam pengelasan busur listrik, menjadi fokus penelitian menggunakan pelat baja karbon rendah dengan variasi diameter elektroda. Tujuan utamanya adalah mengevaluasi kekuatan hasil pengelasan serta kekerasan permukaan zona spesimen. Dengan menggunakan pendekatan eksperimental, pelat baja karbon rendah dipotong berbentuk alur V, dan disambung menggunakan las listrik SMAW. Data yang dikumpulkan melibatkan uji Tarik dan pengujian kekerasan di tiga zona pengelasan. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa panas yang dihasilkan arus listrik berdampak signifikan pada perubahan kekuatan dan kekerasannya. Kekuatan tarik tertinggi tercapai pada pengelasan dengan arus 120 A, dan nilai kekerasan bervariasi di masing-masing zona. Pada base metal (BM), tingkat kekerasan tertinggi pada pengelasan dengan arus 80 A dan elektroda berdiameter 2,6 mm. Sebaliknya, zona HAZ menunjukkan tingkat kekerasan maksimal spesimen dengan arus 120 A dan elektroda berdiameter 3,2 mm. Daerah weld metal (WM) mencapai tingkat kekerasan tertinggi spesimen dengan arus listrik 120 A dan elektroda berdiameter 3,2 mm.

Abstract

PT. ABC adalah perusahaan kemasan anyaman plastik berbagai produk lini FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container) yang sering mengalami reject dari produk FIBC. Tujuan penelitian mengidentifikasi jenis dan faktor yang mempengruhi adanya cacat terparah pada produk FIBC di PT. ABC. Metode penelitian menggunakan FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) serta FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis). Analisis FTA dipengaruhi 3 faktor antara lain ialah faktor man karena operator bekerja dibawah tekanan, faktor machine karena bagian Spool serta jarum tidak terkait, dan faktor material karena tying tape rusak hingga serabut anyaman tidak rapi, sehingga ditemukan hasil analisa FMEA defect jahitan yang mempunyai nilai RPN (Risk Priority Number) tertinggi antara lain ialah bagian bekerja dibawah tekanan dengan hasil nilai sebesar 216. PT. ABC memerlukan pelatihan karyawan baru pada bagian QC (Quality Control) dan karyawan bagian maintenance agar dapat mengurangi resiko penyebab defect pada produk FIBC (Flexible Intermediate Bulk Container).
