Abstract

In this study, we reviewed the literature on information retrieval starting from the basics of Information Retrieval (IR), components and future challenges. The purpose of this study is to observe techniques that have been used by previous researchers in IR, especially query processing and ranking of search results. We used a literature review method by identifying, reviewing, and observing techniques in IR based on the results of several previous studies. We collected more literature sources from the ACM Digital Library, Researchgate and MDPI. From this research, we found several IR models for searching relevant documents (information) and ranking accurate results, including EXplanaTion RAnking (EXTRA), Deep-QPP, ColBERT-PRF and UQSCM-RFD.

Abstract

Design thinking is a method that concentrates on generating ideas and solutions that begin with a process of empathy for a need that focuses on a human or user perspective. The stages of design thinking can be done repeatedly to improvise ideas and solutions so that they are responsive and adaptive to change. Agile is a software development method in which the stages can be repeated to form a cycle, this is done because the agile method is very concerned about the value of a product. The Anindya Collection is UMK of men's batik clothing that they produce themselves and sell under their own business brand name, Anindya Collection. Problems often occur in managing sales data and recapitulating sales data which is still done manually, namely handwriting in a book, making it less effective and efficient. UMK has a role in boosting the Indonesian economy, so limitations should not prevent UMK from innovating. In this study the authors implemented the Design thinking and Agile Methods in Designing the My Sales Application at Anindya Collection). In this study, the authors concluded that the design thinking method helps improvise ideas and solutions to changes prior to the development stage using agile methods. Meanwhile, agile methods help implement ideas and solutions generated from the design thinking stage.

Abstract

One of Indonesia's provinces, D.I. Yogyakarta is rich in regional culture and arts, including traditional musical instruments, traditional weapons, and houses.Traditional musical instruments are one of Yogyakarta's typical local cultures.Traditional musical instruments are now a specialty of the province, especially in Yogyakarta, where Javanese culture is still strong and well-known.Concern for the preservation of national culture, particularly traditional musical instruments, has diminished significantly over time.One important reason for people's growing interest in Yogyakarta's culture is, for instance, the community's lack of exposure to and familiarization with it. Using Android-based Augmented Reality (AR) technology is one method for introducing younger generations to Yogyakarta traditional musical instruments. From 2D objects, users can directly view information, sound, and 3D objects with this technology.As a result, the researcher was motivated to develop an Android app that would teach students about a variety of Yogyakarta traditional musical instruments through the use of augmented reality. This application was developed using the Unity and Vuforia SDK software as libraries and C# as the programming language. In this study utilizing the MDLC (Multimedia Development Live Cycle) Multimedia Development Method which is limited only to the testing stage then in carrying out the testing using the Blackbox method as a method of testing the functionality of the applications that have been made.

Abstract

Due to the lack of motivation to learn and learning method using the old method which is very boring, learning planning is currently a burden for educators and educthe ation of children at the junior high level. As a result, the purpose of this study aims at a learning system to create a learning plan for children using ICT. This educational institution known as Al-Furqon can be found in Kadudampit District, Sukabumi Regency. Outdated lecture methods are still used in teaching and learning activities in this school. Because it was previously used as a means of oral communication between teachers and students during the teaching and learning process, this method affects learning in MTs because it cannot be left behind in teaching activities even though it requires more teacher activities than students. Al-Furqon. There was no interesting interaction between students and teachers, and as a result, they became increasingly dissatisfied with traditional teaching approaches, K-Means algorithms and Data Mining techniques were used in the study. Clustering is also used. Data on Teaching Method Value, Learning Facility Value, Grade Condition Value, Environmental Influence Value, and Teacher Professionalism Value were used for testing in this study. to find out students' interests in school by grouping their data and applying K-Means Clustering analysis. It is hoped that after the number of students who are lacking or not interested in learning is identified, it will become the basis for this website design system to be a solution to the problem.

Abstract

XYZ Cooperative is engaged in credit business by providing loans to its members. Loan activities provided by the XYZ Cooperative, members can borrow and return money guaranteed by mutual agreement between the management of the cooperative and the borrower without having to pay fines when late in making installment payments. The problem that occurs in determining loan eligibility at the XYZ Cooperative is that the assessment in determining loan eligibility still only gives a decision whether or not a loan is appropriate, without taking into account the percentage value of loan eligibility. The decision support system is an alternative in determining a decision making that can produce solutions to assist cooperatives in determining eligibility more quickly. In determining the eligibility to provide loans to members using the decision-making method, namely the ELECTRE Method. There are 5 stages in this study, namely Data Collection, Criteria and Weight Analysis, Electree Method Calculations, System Implementation, and System Testing. As for this study using 6 criteria, namely collateral, income, loan amount, installments, active members and age. The results of testing the system using the blackbox testing method, which shows that the system built is capable of running well and producing output according to the design. And for the results of the comparison of the results of calculations on the system and the results of manual calculations, it is found that the results of the Electre method calculations have obtained the same results.

Abstract

In improving customer service and guaranteeing customers who use the Toshiba brand, Toshiba is still opening Authorized Service Partnerships in various regions, one of which is the ASP Toshiba Palembang which provides laptop and computer repair services, as well as pick-up services. Improving services can affect the results achieved. Based on this, it is necessary to take action by creating an Android-based computer and laptop repair service application that will facilitate the ordering process for customers by having the ability to pick up goods and view order status. The result that can be felt by ASP Toshiba Palembang is that it can store data. The system is built using the Java programming language for Android-based mobile managers and messengers, while the admin uses a website based on the PHP programming language, MySQL as a database and Firebase for push notifications. The system development methodology used is an iterative model. The results of this study are to produce an Android-based PC and laptop repair service application that allows the application to improve customer service for ASP Toshiba Palembang, by providing convenience benefits for cutomers in placing orders and ASP Tohiba Palembang can perform transaction data recording of laptop and computer repair orders.

Abstract

The competition is an event for the success of a school in showing the success of a school educating their students, one type of competition is the paskibraka competition between schools, the problem that often occurs in the process of selecting prospective participants for the paskibrakan competition is to designate students who are considered to meet the expected competencies, this will have an adverse impact on the consideration of interest, endurance and knowledge of the paskibra so that it is maximal in achieving the expected goals in a competition, subjective selection is considered inappropriate today, it is necessary to make decisions using technological assistance in order to minimize errors in selection process, in this study a decision-making system was used to obtain more structured results in the form of logical calculations, the use of decision support systems has been widely applied o by leaders in making decisions, the logic of decision making is in the form of calculations using the application of decision making methods, one method of application is the Simple Additive Weighting method in finding the value of the data to be selected, and to improve research results so that they are more accurate a combination of weighting methods for consideration such as the method AHP, a combination of methods or AHP-SAW hybrid get the results of 1.0 as the highest value

Abstract

Virtual reality is a technology that allows one to carry out simulations by presenting three-dimensional visuals and atmosphere through a device called a Head-Mounted Display (HMD) or VR HMD. To make a VR HMD selection, users must know one by one the specifications of the product to be selected, this of course makes the selection process long and makes it difficult to make a choice. This study aims to develop a decision support system by implementing the Weighted Aggregated Sum Product Assessment (WASPAS) approach for selecting VR HMDs, in order to make it easier for users to make decisions. The WASPAS method can determine the best alternative through prioritization that is relevant to the weighting used. Based on the case study conducted, the best alternative results were Shinecon 6.0 VR Box with a value of 0.9021, followed by Enric VR Box with a value of 0.8965, Yoko VR Box with a value of 0.8179, VRPark VR Box with a value of 0.8158 and BoboVR Z5 VR Box with a value of 0.7827. The built decision support system has produced valid calculations, this is because the calculations obtained by the system with manual calculations produce the same value. On the results of usability testing get an average value of 90% and fall into the good category. This shows that the developed system is easy to use and feasible to implement.

Abstract

The The large population and daily activities of Indonesian people can trigger an increase in waste production. Proper waste management efforts require the role of all parties such as the government, the community, and even the support of the private sector in order to be able to overcome problems related to waste. One of the private parties that plays a role in waste management in Indonesia is Waste4Change. This company provides services and services related to waste transportation, waste recycling, as well as waste management education and consultation. These services can be accessed online through the website owned by Waste4Change. Based on the website, there are several programs and features that can be used by users, one of which is the Send Your Waste program. However, in the program, there is a waste delivery flow which has drawbacks, namely flow mismatch and copywriting on the Send Your Waste page. Therefore, this study aims to improve and develop the waste delivery flow in the Send Your Waste program to make it more user-friendly for users. The research method used is the design thinking method to find out what are the complaints and needs of users regarding the experience and appearance of the website interface. This method was chosen because it can solve complex problems with empathy to understand the needs and motivations of users and there is also an iterative process in order to find the best design solution. From the results of usability testing on experience and interface appearance, an increase in user satisfaction was found. With these improvements, it is concluded that the results of usability testing from the Waste4Change website can be accepted by users.

Abstract

The purpose of the research conducted was to examine the development of a web-based doctor consultation system in dr. Angga Dwi Pratomo and dr. Novaria Yuasa and provide easy medical consultations to patients. The place of practice which is still not optimal because it still uses the manual method in medical consultations. The method used for the development of this consulting information system uses the waterfall model on the grounds that this model is coherent. The benefits of research can carry out the consulting process quickly and efficiently. This application uses the Laravel framework which can make it easier for writers to make applications. The result of this built application is a web-based consulting information system that can provide patient convenience in consulting, patient data storage and information services that are easier and faster. The application that was built was made using tools such as sublime, MySQL, XAMPP as a database with HTML and PHP programming languages coupled with the Laravel Framework for developing software systems referring to the waterfall model which is one of the software development models, where the progress of a process is seen as continuous. flowing down like a waterfall. In the Waterfall Model, each stage must be sequential, and you cannot jump to the next stage, you must complete the first stage and then proceed to the second stage and so on. Which consists of several stages, namely reuirement or specification of system requirements, system design, system implementation, system trial, system operation, and system maintenance.
