Abstract

Towards the completion of their tertiary education, students should have adapted to the work demands of the future. Career adaptability is determined by the student's character or personal assets. However, the influence of personal attributes on career adjustment is not always consistent. Other factors influence the strength of this influence. This research aims to determine the moderating role of academic achievement in the relationship between positive youth development (PYD) and student career adaptability. Data collection used the Positive Youth Development Scale and Career Adaptability Scale. We measured academic achievement using GPA. The research involved 286 eighth-semester students using a total sampling technique. Data analysis used a moderation test with Jamovi 2.0.0 statistical software. The results show that academic achievement moderates the impact of positive youth development on career adaptability. We found that PYD has a high effect on career adaptability in students with a high GPA. In contrast, PYD has low impact on career adaptability in students with low GPAs. The research results are beneficial in overcoming the low adaptability of students' careers by increasing positive youth development and academic achievement.

Abstract

As a teenager, you often face many changes, especially internal body image and self-confidence. This research aims to understand the relationship between body image and self-confidence in gym members. The research method used is quantitative with a correlational design to statistically measure and statistically analyze the relationship between body image and self-confidence. A total of 117 gym members in Salatiga were research subjects. They were selected using an accidental sampling technique, which means they were chosen by chance from the available population. The data analysis method used for the correlation test uses Spearman’s Rho. The research results show a positive relationship between body image and self-confidence. That is when someone has a positive perception of body image and tends to have self-confidence. The Spearman's Rho correlation coefficient value of .617 indicates that this relationship is strong. In addition, a significance value (sig.) of .000 indicates that this relationship does not occur by chance. The results of this study suggest that increasing body image can help improve self-confidence. Thus, this research provides positive insight into the relationship between body image and self-confidence in gym members, which can help them improve their self-perception and self-confidence.

Abstract

In the workplace, workers are crucial to the accomplishment of organizational objectives. As a result, it is critical for businesses to comprehend the variables that may affect employee retention. Employee turnover intention is one element that should be taken very seriously since it can negatively affect the success of the organization. The purpose of this study is to examine the relationship between work engagement, salary satisfaction, training satisfaction, and performance appraisal satisfaction and turnover intention. Quantitative approaches are employed in this study. All of the participants in this study are employees. Through the use of non-probability approaches, particularly judgment sampling, the sample was chosen. There were one hundred samples used in this study. Researchers employed primary data collected through in-depth interviews and the distribution of questionnaires to every employee. The data in this study was analyzed using the SmartPLS 4th edition software. The data analysis results indicate that work engagement is positively influenced by training satisfaction. There is a positive correlation between work engagement and performance appraisal satisfaction. Work engagement is also positively affected by pay satisfaction. Employee turnover intentions are negatively affected by work involvement. Additionally, job engagement positively impacts turnover intentions, acting as a mediator between training satisfaction and work engagement. Work participation serves as a mediator between employee turnover intentions and wage satisfaction, as well as performance appraisal satisfaction, both of which have a positive and significant impact on turnover intentions

Abstract

Ethnocultural empathy is essential for a counselor to understand the client's condition. Mutual respect and realizing the difference are essential for relating to others in a multicultural environment. However, in the present, empathy cannot be obtained easily but should be devised. This research examines the level of ethnocultural emphasis on the teacher's students' Guidance and counseling. This study is descriptive quantitative research, data collecting using the instrument The Scale of Ethnocultural Empathy with 31 questions. Instrument validity refers to the Corrected Item score-Total Correlation >= 0.300 with a Cronbach's Alpha score 721. The sample involved prospective students of guidance and counseling teachers, with as many as 213 respondents. Descriptive statistics are used to interpret and explain the numerical data presented. In addition, to encourage respondents to participate in this research, an online instrument was created with a time-based fee structure, which made the implementation process more efficient. With an analysis of ethnocultural empathy levels in prospective school counselors based on gender and ethnicity, this study identified that prospective school counselors have ethnocultural empathy levels based on gender and ethnicity that exist in four dimensions, namely at the average level. Therefore, the university must be able to pay special attention to the cultivation of ethnocultural empathy for prospective teacher guidance and counseling students.

Abstract

This meta-analysis investigates the effectiveness of Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) in addressing depression across diverse contexts. Drawing from 13 studies, it examines the impact of MBCT on depressive symptoms using various measurement tools such as the Depression Anxiety and Stress Scale (DASS) and Beck-Depression Inventory (BDI). The findings underscore the importance of tailoring intervention materials to participant characteristics and completing the full MBCT program for significant outcomes. Additionally, components of MBCT, such as mindful awareness and cognitive restructuring, emerge as key factors in reducing depressive symptoms. Moderator analysis reveals no significant difference between in-person and internet-based MBCT delivery, highlighting the importance of consistent participation and mindfulness practice for successful outcomes.

Abstract

Religious tolerance is a crucial issue that often becomes a problem in student interactions in schools, especially schools that are diverse culturally, religiously, and in the identity of religious organizations. This study aims to test the effectiveness of hybrid group guidance services using the value-based cognitive reconstruction technique "ngudi kasampurnan" for high school students. This research involved 30 class XI high school students in Kudus Regency who were divided into two groups, namely the control group and the experimental group. The intervention was implemented in 9 (nine) stages, either face-to-face synchronous, virtual face-to-face, or synchronous, by applying the values-based cognitive reconstruction technique "ngudi kasampurnan" as a modification and novelty of this research. The effectiveness test was carried out using the Mann-Whitney Test method with the help of SPSS 23. The results showed that the control group that was given the intervention experienced significant changes, as indicated by a Z value of -4.705 and a P value of 0.000, which means there was a considerable change. Meanwhile, the control group had a Z value of -1.623 and a P value of 0.104, which means there was no significant effect. These results show that hybrid intervention with the value-based cognitive reconstruction technique "ngudi kasampurnan" is more effective in increasing students' religious tolerance. Furthermore, it is hoped that there will be efforts to modify and collaborate technological sophistication with local wisdom values, which will still serve as guidelines for Indonesian society.
